Fixing the Wilderness with Tink (Quest)

Back to the Pixie Hollow Quests for Members page Fixing the Wilderness is a quest you can get from Tinker Bell. Upon completion, you will receive a Baking Hat Carnation White. Prerequisites: Learn to Fix must be completed and you must be a tinker-talent fairy. Released: 29 June 2009 Retired: 20 April 2011

Quick Quest Guide

This Quest has 2 steps.

What you will need: 10 Acorns, 10 Snowflakes and 3 Honeycombs (to personal bake one batch of Acorn Cookies).

Quick Steps

• Go to Tinker's Nook and ask Tink if she has any quests. Pick Fixing the Wilderness.
• Go to Dulcie's Kitchen in Neverberry Thicket and personal bake a batch of Acorn Cookies.
• Go to the Silver Trees in Pumpkin Patch and start a new adventure called Fixing the Wilderness. Complete all the challenges within the adventure and return to Tinker Bell.
• Pick your reward and the quest is over.

In Depth Quest Guide

This is a full walk through for the quest, so if you're confused by any of the quick steps, hopefully these can help you out.

Head over to Tinker's Nook in Cottonpuff Field and ask Tinker Bell if she has any quests. The quest should pop up immediately and you'll be able to begin. Upon starting the quest, Tink will greet you:

Tinker Bell: "Hey, how’s it flappin’, Fairyname here? Nice to see ya! Say, do you have a minute? I want to talk to you about something."
"You’ve probably noticed that using your Talent Skills in the Wilderness takes a lot of pixie dust. And that if you run short, eating a cookie will give you a few extra smidges."
"So knowing how to bake cookies is really important. I want to be sure you know how to do it."
"Fly over to Dulcie’s Kitchen and bake a batch of pixie dust-filled Acorn Cookies, okay? Bring them back here so I can see how you did."

Step 1

Tinker Bell: "Flitterific! Just make sure you do your best at each baking step. The better you do, the more cookies you’ll get!"
"Be sure to try for a full half dozen!"
"Well, flap to it! Dulcie’s Kitchen is in Neverberry Thicket!"

Fly to Dulcie's Kitchen in Neverberry Thicket. Use Personal Baking to make a batch of Acorn Cookies. Return to Tinker's Nook in Cottonpuff Field when you are done! Progress: # of 1

Story So Far

Tinker Bell wants to make sure you know how to bake pixie dust-filled cookies to eat in the Wilderness. Fly to Dulcie’s Kitchen in Neverberry Thicket and make a batch of Acorn Cookies!

Go to Dulcie's Kitchen in Neverberry Thicket. Make one batch of Acorn Cookies ~ be sure to choose Personal Baking. Return to Tink when you are done.

Step 2

Tinker Bell: "Oh oh, can I have one please please please???"
"I mean ... I have to taste one to make sure it’s got enough pixie dust, right? Just an official taste. Not that I WANT to, mind you. I really HAVE to."
"*MUNCH MUNCH* Ooo, yum! *MUNCH SWALLOW* Warm, acorny, and just the right amount of pixie dust. You did great!"
"Which is good because I have a favor to ask. The Minister of Winter wants me to make her a winter-wind-gust-directing ... thingy."
"She needs it soon because the seasons are about to change again on the Mainland. Could you lend me a wing making it?"
"I’ve heard there is a Lost Thing out in the Silver Trees that has just the parts I need. I’d go myself, but I should stay here and finish the blueprints for this thing."

Fly to Pumpkin Patch and enter the Silver Trees Wilderness. User [sic] your Fix skill to find a Shiny Lost Thing. Return to Tinker's Nook in Cottonpuff Field when you are done! Progress: # of 1

Story So Far

Now that you’ve baked cookies, Tinker Bell wants you to fly to the Silver Trees and use your Fix Talent Skill to find a Shiny Lost Thing.

Leave Tinker's Nook and fly to the Silver Trees in Pumpkin Patch. Start a new quest and select Fixing the Wilderness. Complete all the challenges and bring the Bits of Metal to Tinker Bell. Be sure to have enough cookies made prior to entering the Wilderness.

Tinker Bell: "Wow! These will work perfectly!"
"And here, I have just the gift for you in honor of your baking skills!"
"Thank you, Fairyname here! Keep on practicing your Fix Talent Skill, okay? Come back here if you want my help. Hope I see you again soon!"

Your Reward

You'll receive a Baking Hat Carnation White as shown below. You also unlock the following quest upon completion: More Fix in the Wilderness.
