Charming the Wilderness with Fawn (Quest)

Back to the Pixie Hollow Quests for Members page Charming the Wilderness is a quest you can get from Fawn. Upon completion, you will receive a Baking Hat Carnation White. Prerequisites: Learn to Charm must be completed and you must be an animal-talent fairy. Released: 29 June 2009 Retired: 20 April 2011

Quick Quest Guide

This Quest has 2 steps.

What you will need: 10 Acorns, 10 Snowflakes and 3 Honeycombs (to personal bake one batch of Acorn Cookies).

Quick Steps

• Go to Fawn's Hideout and ask her if she has any quests. Pick Charming the Wilderness.
• Fly to Dulcie's Kitchen in Neverberry Thicket and personal bake 3 Acorn Cookies.
• Fly to The Silver Trees in Pumpkin Patch and lead a new adventure called Charming the Wilderness. Complete all the challenges within the adventure and return to Fawn.
• Pick your reward and the quest is over.

In Depth Quest Guide

This is a full walk through for the quest, so if you're confused by any of the quick steps, hopefully these can help you out.

Head over to Fawn's Hideout in Maple Tree Hill and ask Fawn if she has any quests. The quest should pop up immediately and you'll be able to begin. Upon starting the quest, Fawn will greet you:

Fawn: "Heya, Pixie Name Here! Got a minute?" "You’ve probably noticed that usin’ Talent Skills in the Wilderness takes a lot of pixie dust, an’ that eatin’ a cookie will give you a few extra smidges."
"So knowing how to bake cookies is super important. I want to be sure you know how to do it."
"Fly over to Dulcie’s Kitchen an’ bake some pixie dust-filled Acorn Cookies. Bring ‘em back here so I can eat ... err, I mean ... make sure they’re okay!"

Step 1

Accept this Quest?

Fawn: "Just make sure you do your best at each baking step. The better you do, the more cookies you’ll get!"
"I just need to see one, but I bet you can bake a whole bunch of them!"
"Fly to it, chickadee! Dulcie’s Kitchen is in Neverberry Thicket!"

Fly to Dulcie's Kitchen in Neverberry Thicket. Use Personal Baking to make 3 Acorn Cookies. Return to Fawn's Hideout in Maple Tree Hill when you are done!

Story So Far

Fawn wants to make sure you know how to bake pixie dust-filled cookies to eat in the Wilderness. Fly to Dulcie’s Kitchen in Neverberry Thicket and make Acorn Cookies!

This baking task must be completed in Dulcie's Kitchen, which is located in Neverberry Thicket. In order to Personal Bake the Acorn Cookies, the recipe must be available and completed. To open the recipe for personal baking, you must first complete it using Community Baking. Once you have the recipe ready for Personal Baking, bake your cookies. Try for a high quality score so that you earn all 3 cookies in the first batch. If you don’t make the 3 Acorn Cookies needed the first time baking, continue to Personal Bake until you do. Fly back to Fawn’s when you have completed your baking task.

Step 2

I baked Acorn Cookies for Fawn!

Fawn: "Oh, those look good. *SNIFF* An’ they smell so good! Must -- eat -- cookie! *MUNCH MUNCH* Soooo yummy! *MUNCH SWALLOW*"
"Sorry, chickadee, I couldn’t help myself. Let’s just call that a taste test -- and jumpin’ jackrabbits, did you ever pass!"
"That’s good, ‘cuz I have some talent work for you in the Wilderness. Yesterday, Morris the Magpie helped us collect berries for the mainland."
"We promised him an Extra Yummy Truffle in return. I need you to fly to The Silver Trees an’ find one!"

Fly to Pumpkin Patch, enter The Silver Trees Wilderness, and find an Extra Yummy Truffle. Return to Fawn's Hideout in Maple Tree Hill when you are done!

Story So Far

Now that you’ve baked cookies, Fawn wants you to fly to The Silver Trees and use your Charm Talent Skill to find an Extra Yummy Truffle.

Leave Fawn's Hideout and fly to Pumpkin Patch and enter The Silver Trees. Lead a new adventure and select Charming the Wilderness. Complete all the challenges and bring the Extra Yummy Truffle to Fawn. Be sure to have enough cookies made prior to entering the Wilderness.

Your Reward

I found an Extra Yummy Truffle!

Fawn: "Great job, chickadee! You’ve just made sure that Morris the Magpie will help us when we need him next season!"
"And here, I have just the gift for you!"
"Be sure to practice your Charm as much as you can. Come back here if you want my help. Hope I see ya again soon!"

You'll receive a Baking Hat Carnation White as shown below. You also unlock the following quest upon completion: More Charm in the Wilderness.
