Quick Steps

In Depth Quest Guide

This is a full walk through for the quest, so if you're confused by any of the quick steps, hopefully these can help you out.

Head over to Tinker's Nook in Cottonpuff Field and ask Tinker Bell if she has any quests. The quest should pop up immediately and you'll be able to begin. Upon starting the quest, Tink will greet you:

Tinker Bell: "Fairyname here, I’ve decided it’s time. You’ve shown so much talent and you’ve been so helpful to everyone -- I think you’re ready to start learning your Talent Skills!" "Talent Skills aren’t just ordinary regular ol’ skills. They’re really important to every Fairy’s work of changing the seasons!"
"Each talent has a set of special skills that have been passed down from Fairy to Fairy for as long as anyone can remember. The first skill a tinker-talent learns is called FIX, and I’m going to teach it to you!"
"One thing first -- I need to put you through a few important tests. That’s how tinker-talents prove they’re really ready."
"What do you think? Are you ready to take the tests and learn your very first Talent Skill?"

Step 1

Tinker Bell: "Flitterific! Let’s get started!"
"Fixing things is one of the most important jobs we tinkers do. Ivy nets need untangling, new mouse carts need building, and ladybug sprayers need unsticking."
"If we tinkers don’t fix this stuff, the seasons will NEVER come to the Mainland on time!"
"But you can’t fix much if you can’t find your tools. Your first test is at the Sorting Station. I need to see how well you can organize!"

Fly to Cottonpuff Field. Earn 8,000 points playing Tinker Toss in the Sorting Station. Return to Tinker's Nook in Cottonpuff Field when you are done!
Progress: # of 8,000

Story So Far

Tinker Bell wants to teach you your first Talent Skill! Prove you’re ready by organizing the Sorting Station!

When you are finished talking to Tink, fly across Cottonpuff Field to the Sorting Station. Play Tinker Toss until you get a score of at least 8,000 points (whether in one shot or cumulative). Once you're done, go back and see Tink.

Step 2

Tinker Bell: "Pretty good, Fairyname here. You’ve passed your first test!"
"Let’s move on to a real repair job."
"Do you know Bess, the art-talent? Her drawing easel has a cracked leg. It has to be fixed right away because Bess needs to finish a painting honoring the change of seasons for Queen Clarion."
"This fix is a classic. The first thing we’ll need are Honeycombs."
"Honeycombs are real useful, and you need to be able to find them at a moment’s notice. So here’s your notice -- go find some Honeycombs!"

Gather 8 Honeycombs and bring them to Tinker's Nook in Cottonpuff Field. Progress: # of 8

Story So Far

Tinker Bell wants to teach you your first Talent Skill! Prove you’re ready by gathering Honeycombs!

So, once you're finished talking to Tink, it's time to gather up some Honeycombs, if you don't have 8 already. Once you get the 8 Honeycombs needed, head on back to Tinker Bell and talk to her.

Step 3

Tinker Bell: "Wow, those are enough Honeycombs to fill an entire supply shelf! Flitterific! You’ve passed your second test! Now on to test three!"
"Along with the cracked leg, the carrying strap on Bess’ drawing easel is worn out. She definitely needs a new one."
"Grassweave Belts make perfect straps. You can make one at Mendy’s Tailoring Nook. Dye it tan or brown to match the wood of the easel, okay?"
"I’ll finish fixing the cracked leg while you’re gone."

Fly to Mendy's Tailoring Nook in Maple Tree Hill. Use Personal Tailoring to make a Grassweave Belt with a tan or brown dye. Fly to Tinker's Nook in Cottonpuff Field and give this item to Tinker Bell when you are done! Progress: # of 1

Story So Far

Tinker Bell wants to teach you your first Talent Skill! Prove you’re ready by Personal Tailoring a Grassweave Belt at Mendy’s Tailoring Nook. Don’t forget to dye it tan or brown!

The first thing you need to do for this step of the quest is to see if you own a bottle of tan or brown dye. If not, purchase one from one of the dye shops. When you have your bottle of dye, head over to Mendy's Tailoring Nook in Maple Tree Hill. Once there, pick Personal Tailoring and choose Grassweave Belt from the list. The pattern will be automatically open for Community Tailoring; however, you will need to have the pattern completed in order to Personal Tailor the item. When you have tailored the belt, head on back to Tinker Bell and speak to her.

Step 4

Tinker Bell: "Great! You’ve passed test three!"
"While you were tailoring, I used the Honeycombs to glue the crack in Bess’ drawing easel. But the seam is showing. We need to fix that."
"Bess’ easel is gray, sort of like a thundercloud. I want you to check each dye shop in the Hollow and find the dye that matches that color best."
"Bring me one bottle of just the right dye, and I’ll show you what to do!"

Fly to Colette's Colors in Chilly Falls and get a bottle of Thundercloud Gray Dye. Bring it to Tinker's Nook in Cottonpuff Field when you are done! Progress: # of 1

Story So Far

Tinker Bell wants to teach you your first Talent Skill! Prove you’re ready by bringing her one bottle of dye that’s a perfect match for Bess’ easel, which is gray like a thundercloud.

Head over to Chilly Falls. There you will find Colette's Colors. Purchase one bottle of Thundercloud Gray Dye and bring it back to Tink.

Step 5

Tinker Bell: "Yup, that’s just the color we need! Good job, Fairyname here! You’ve passed another test!"
"Now I’ll just touch up that seam with a dab of dye ..."
"Careful now ... and ..."
"Bess’ drawing easel is as good as new and ready for delivery!"
"Your final test is to make that delivery! But don’t take the easel to Bess -- take it to Silvermist! You’ll find out why."

Fly to Silvermist's Grotto! You can get there from Dewdrop Vale.

Story So Far

Tinker Bell wants to teach you your first Talent Skill! Prove you’re ready by delivering Bess’ drawing easel to Silvermist!

Next, fly over to Silvermist's Grotto located in Dewdrop Vale and talk to Sil. Give her the drawing easel.

Step 6

Silvermist: "Hi, raindrop! Oh, that must be Bess’ drawing easel! It’s all fixed? Oh good!"
"Bess told me it was broken, but she’s so busy! So I said I’d take it to Tinker Bell for her. Sort of a thank-you favor because Bess gave me a splashtacular painting the other day!"
"You tinker-talents are so amazing to be able to fix things so perfectly! I really appreciate it. Every Fairy does!"
"Be sure to thank Tink for me, too, okay?"

Fly to Tinker's Nook! You can get there from Cottonpuff Field.

Story So Far

Tinker Bell wants to teach you your first Talent Skill! You’ve proven that you’re ready by helping her fix Bess’ drawing easel. Return to Tinker Bell right away!

The final step is to fly back to Tinker Bell. She can be found in Tinker's Nook in Cottonpuff Field.

Tinker Bell: "Well, that’s it, Fairyname here. You just passed your final test! Looks like you’ve earned your first Talent Skill -- FIX! Congratulations!"
"Now that you have your first Talent Skill, you’re ready to explore the Wilderness areas of Pixie Hollow."
"Start by practicing your new Fix skill in the Silver Trees! You can get there through Pumpkin Patch."
"Remember to bring your friends when you go into the Wilderness, Fairyname here. You’ll have to work together to finish the challenges you’ll find there!"

Your Reward

You will now be able to perform the Talent Skill Fix in all wilderness areas of Pixie Hollow. You will also now notice you have a green Pixie Dust Meter at the top of your playing area. You also unlock the following quests upon completion: Learn to Move and Fixing the Wilderness.
