Reply from my page

I understand (and you might want to sign with your timestamp) what you mean but I just copied them right as they were titled on the Magic Pins page. We would probably want to rename these and make the two pages the same. Also, I would probably omit the colors and pace them in the color section because Autopia Offroad Magic Pin would still make sense and then the color would be put into that column. --Alexthedragon 15:37, 1 February 2007 (CST)

Thanks But Somewhat Dissapointed

Hello I noticed you took the liberty of adding pictures to the My VMK page. Next time just please notice that under the Talk: MyVMK page I had said i was attempting to upload pictures and I was uploading them when you put yours up. I'm just a little angry I spent a lot of work actually circling and providing steps on how to add something to your My VMK list and to have someone move quicker than me. Thank you for uploading the picutres anyway. LAXplaya1346 11:31:38, 23 December 2006 (CDT)

Quests and Spoilers

Thanks for the comments. I am only really the editor of the moment lol. VMKPlayer123 is working on room descriptions atm and I would love you to continue with the quests. Let's get the hover answers there and then if you look at the spoiler graphic on the Yeti Vision page we can use that (for all the quests, both in-park and in-game.)

I am continuing to do the info for the inventory but if a price is missing or some other info, please feel free to add it. The photos are finally all up, though :)

LOL - thanks for adding the photo titles. I guess that I could have done it when I added the items but I forget about that sort of thing :) Great tag team aditing WOOT! Fun to see the new Home Theater Collection though :) --SpinMarty 01:10, 10 November 2006 (CST)

Awesome job with the item pages! I was worried about doing another set because I wasn't sure which you may do next :) Thanks --SpinMarty 03:03, 11 November 2006 (CST)

Timeline: Hi, I am not sure what you did to the timeline but we were editing at the same time and I did some MAJOR edits that I think wiped out what you did. Double check, please and I am sorry if it did. --SpinMarty 22:26, 21 November 2006 (CST)

preferences

I see that you are uploading the new preferences screens (woot). On the page in question, put the current photos down at the bottom under a new topic "History" (or something else?) so that we can keep a running record of VMK). Also, did you see what I did with the Adventureland quest photos? Is that acceptable? --SpinMarty 00:49, 25 November 2006 (CST)

I've got the power

OK, that is the first line of a pop song that I cannot remember the title of :) You are correct, only sysops and beaurocrats can delete items. Are you talking about the Adven.Backs pics? I you can go to that image's page and click the "upload a new version of this file" so put the one you want up :). That basically removes the old one. I hope that helped. Maybe I totally misunderstood which image you are talking about :O --SpinMarty 01:11, 25 November 2006 (CST)

Sorry I hadn't read your entire questions first. I like the larger photos of the quest cards, so if you could re-do the inside for left and right that would be cool. Consistency is fine. I will go back and delete those photos that you requested. Thanks again for your help and dedication. You have been a wonderful asset to the wiki team! --SpinMarty 01:24, 25 November 2006 (CST)

Grr forgot - the PDF looks GREAT! --SpinMarty 01:26, 25 November 2006 (CST)

(Yawning as well)! Great job with the pins. I am getting eye strain working on the costumes, takes a little longer to reformat all the pages (yawn again). I wanted to mention that I am not doing the "Other Pins" page until I log in as I want to double check pin titles (meaning, does it really have to word 'pin' inthe title or is that something that we added for some of the pins?) I found that out when doing the NPC pins earlier today, that we had called them something different than the actual title. The 'Pin Sets' titles are correct, though :) Again, you are awesome :) --SpinMarty 02:44, 2 December 2006 (CST)

VMK Santa Clause Quest - I started the page in case you get excited and want to do it. If you format it like the others I can do it to since i just took photos of all of the questions lol. --SpinMarty 21:33, 4 December 2006 (CST)

Fest Quest - Goofy! I was just about to do it for you lol. --SpinMarty 13:13, 10 December 2006 (CST)

Pins - I don't think that the current pins you are editing have a "formerly". I think that I just put "Pin" there because that is what I called it in my thread on VMKf. :) --SpinMarty 01:40, 27 December 2006 (CST)

I thought that the buyables needed to be moved a long time ago but forgot about them quite frankly :) Move away. I am also thinking that on the Main VMK page we just need ONE link to the pin section and then the separate pin-page links there. Thoughts? --SpinMarty 01:52, 27 December 2006 (CST)

alpha order always :) --SpinMarty 02:07, 27 December 2006 (CST)

WOW you have been busy this vacation! I took some time off and things get done. Maybe I should stay away longer lol. Thanks for all of your work. I sent you a giveagift as a thank you. I hope you received it :) --SpinMarty 01:07, 31 December 2006 (CST)

VMK Errors

Sorry about removing them from the quests pages. I was in a hurry editing the pages for spelling, and just removed the vmk error. --Schmoofy 10:29, 27 December 2006 (CST)

wreaths

I know we talked about this but now I am confused. The title is "Pink Holiday Wreath" (and the other two as well) and you moved the "Decorative Holiday Wreath Pink" page to that new title. Yet, on the Christmas theme page it is still the other way. If it has been moved to the new title would we see a red link on the Christmas theme page? hmmmm we'll have to look into this. --SpinMarty 09:38, 12 January 2007 (CST)

No, because it was done as a "move", which sets up an automatic forward. When it is included in the Christmas page, the include is also forwarded. The wiki "does the right thing", so we don't have to worry about it. --Prisoner 12:20, 12 January 2007 (CST)

Fin's Quest

I did the quest up for today, if I did anything wrong with it let me know, I want to better myself :D --Schmoofy 22:23, 14 January 2007 (CST)

Checklist

No problem, we are all here to work together. I just had a lot of time on my hands while VMK was down :)

A thank you and more

Howdy Up - You have been a trooper and doing an awesome job here on the Wiki. To be fair, without you many of the pages (newsletter, etc.) would not be as up to date. I have made you a sysop here on the wiki which will allow you to at least delete things (without having to ask someone to do it for you.) It's not much but all that I can do :) --SpinMarty 21:24, 18 April 2007 (CDT)

Newsletter

I was wondering, Up, if you could make a newsletter skeleton for future use. Maybe put it on the page Newsletter Skeleton for use in future newsletters before the information is given out. The basic newsletter things should be included, you know what I mean ;) --Schmoofytalk 10:35, 17 May 2007 (CDT)

Unreleased Items Pics

I took a screen shot on VMKF if we ever brought back the page, and since you did, but we can't edit it, even the talk pages, I have almost every image that was on DOW, I could edit them and upload them if you want them back, or certain ones. I want to ask before doing it, since it was just deleted for a reason. --CL_Haveamagicalday

amazing

You are amazing at your persistence. You have more patience than I do. Thanks for making the pin section consistent! --SpinMarty 18:07, 3 January 2008 (CST)

Former names/renames

I see that for things like the Disneyland Ride Operator's Scoreboard Color Purple, you're indicating that it had former names. I thought that this was always its in-game name, and that we just had it listed incorrectly in the wiki. In these cases, I'm not sure we need to provide the redirect link, or a note indicating its former name (and in the past, I haven't done this) since we're correcting the wiki, not providing information about its history in the game. --Prisoner 15:28, 8 January 2008 (CST)

I think providing item name history is a great addition to the notes, it gives more info. on the history of the item. --Haveamagicalday 20:20, 8 January 2008 (CST)

Moving Tables To The Right

I've been trying for a few days now, how do you move a table to the right of the screen, so you can type on the left? --Haveamagicalday 20:20, 8 January 2008 (CST)

Why are you linking a page on the Gingerbread House Competition? Do you plan on making a page for it? -- Scootz 05:52, 17 January 2008 (CST)

Scootz - I initially made the link to the Gingerbread House Competition (one had to look further back in the recent changes.) And yes, I plan on making a page for it (or someone else can!) -- SpinMarty 08:58, 17 January 2008 (CST)

Gingerbread Contest Items

We know for a fact that these items were released then, why did you take that off? We know for a fact it was released last night, my friend had one, that won. Since it was released then, it was also retired that same day. --Haveamagicalday (Talk | Contributions) 17:59, 17 January 2008 (CST)

EDIT: The friend had it taken away, they messed up lol. --Haveamagicalday (Talk | Contributions) 18:28, 17 January 2008 (CST)

Why Did You Undo?

Why did you undo the edits made by me? Strategies vary from person to person, meaning some people may not have a voodoo doll, or it's a low level, and means that it's not a fact, it's an opinion. Is there any reasons why you brought it back? Just wondering. --Haveamagicalday (Talk | Contributions) 20:56, 6 February 2008 (CST)

Rocketship Couch Color Green image file names

Looks like I ran into a cut and paste error on the file names for this item and ended up with Light Green instead of Green in the file name. I'm not sure if it matters much since the description is correct. But just wanted to let you know in case you have an easy way to correct it. I'm in upload brain freeze, so thought I'd just let you know about it now when I realized it.

Animations

Should the animations be put under the images section like:

POTCO Game Release Notes

Hey Up, since this page is getting way to long, should we break it up like we did for the POTCO Current News? Having the page be called, "POTCO Release Notes"? It would sometimes be small, with not much on the page sometimes, and sometimes it would be longer than some of the current news pages. Or, we could break it up into months/year pages? --Haveamagicalday (Talk | Contributions) 12:02, 31 May 2008 (PDT)

I would either divide the Release notes by month or by year. I actually don't have a problem with the length of the current page, persay, but I do have a problem with the organization. The wiki made TOC is just too long and is throwing everything off. Whatever we do, I think the pages need to be easier for people to navigate. I noticed that some months only have one update, which would make for a very short page if we organized by month ;). I was leaning more towards the yearly approach like what I had started for the Toontown side release notes (see Toontown Release Notes: 2003). Perhaps appropriate names for the yearly pages would be "POTCO Release Notes: 2008" etc. If you get the chance to get started on this, that would be great. Thanks!--UpInTheAir 23:51, 31 May 2008 (PDT)

Oops! Duplicated pics

I did a "boy look" and failed to notice that Kit had already uploaded the TT Trading Cards pics. The name he gave some of them isn't overly descriptive, but still its my fault for missing them. The good news is that I stopped after only 35 duplicates.

The pics are small (about 13kb each) so I am guessing no harm if they stay, but good housekeeping would suggest they be deleted. Sadly, I do not have the ability to delete my own mess. Sorry. Pudgey 04:25, 8 June 2008 (PDT)

Item Rotations

Hey Up! I was reading the current projects for VMK and read the stuff about the rotations. It said if you found one missing to let you know. The item ALR Cat On Rock is missing the inventory image and the rotation images. --Haveamagicalday (Talk | Contributions) 18:06, 13 June 2008 (PDT)

Thanks! I actually have the some of the images for the newer items, but trying to get through my original images as well.

I also know that I don't have ALR Shrub Wall Short and Disneyland Ride Operator's Scoreboard Color Red rotations C and D at the momement. --UpInTheAir 18:09, 13 June 2008 (PDT)

You're welcome :)! I noticed that the item ALR Dee and Dumb rotations are missing as well. --Haveamagicalday (Talk | Contributions) 18:13, 13 June 2008 (PDT)

Alright, going to just keep a list here because it will be easier, add to it as needed:

--UpInTheAir 18:17, 13 June 2008 (PDT)

Hey Up, I've noticed that some images put a TOC up on the page, because there are sometimes three sections (animation, rotations, image history). So I put the __NOTOC__ at the top of the page to get rid of it. If it should be in any other place let me know and I'll fix it :)! --Haveamagicalday (Talk | Contributions) 18:20, 13 June 2008 (PDT)

That's fine. I did the same thing for the ALR Butterfly Mushroom ;) Magic pins on the other hand, we do use the TOC :)

Heading off for a bit now, but will get these messages eventually, so anymore concerns, let me know.

--UpInTheAir 18:29, 13 June 2008 (PDT)

Ok will do thanks! I am still working on the Game Insider pages, but like I said, they take me a while to do them, I'm going to try to do one, at least, per day :) and work on other parts of the wiki as well :). Have a good day! --Haveamagicalday (Talk | Contributions) 18:33, 13 June 2008 (PDT)

Lit/In-Use Images

I can't seem to get some of the items that light up's images. I'm thinking that they are not uploaded yet, if they are, let me know :). I'll make a list here, so we know which ones

With respect to the candy tiles, the fact that I was able to get them lit up by themselves was the result of a bug. I only did the ones that would light up by themselves and not the ones that would require a character to stand on the tile. So I don't have these images. --UpInTheAir 11:25, 17 June 2008 (PDT)

So, should I remove these from the list? Also, should we state that there was a bug or something so they all didn't always light up? --Haveamagicalday (Talk | Contributions) 13:12, 17 June 2008 (PDT)

Might as well keep them on the list just in case we run across actual pictures of them lit (with or without a character standing on them ;)) Perhaps a note in italics below the gallery saying that while these items light up when stepped on, sometimes due to a VMK bug, they would light up on their own, etc.--UpInTheAir 13:15, 17 June 2008 (PDT)

OK :)! --Haveamagicalday (Talk | Contributions) 13:17, 17 June 2008 (PDT)

I have a question, on the Castle Suite Fireplace lit items, they were uploaded with the wrong file name (consistency), would you want me to upload them with the consistent file name, or leave it alone? --Haveamagicalday (Talk | Contributions) 13:33, 17 June 2008 (PDT)

Are we talking about the "lit" images? I would say just leave them. These were uploaded before I uploaded mine I believe. Just so long as it has the word lit in there, we should be okay. We can always use the File List to check and see if we have these images.--UpInTheAir 17:06, 17 June 2008 (PDT)

Stcaked/Open & Closed

Hey Up! I was working on rotations, and noticed that one item had a stacked image already uploaded, so I added it in :). The item is Disney Cruise Travel Chest Yellow. I put the image in a gallery format, even though there was one image. Should we keep all of them like that, or take out the gallery, and just add the image? Thanks! --Haveamagicalday (Talk | Contributions) 17:13, 17 June 2008 (PDT)

I think this is how we've been doing the stacked ones in the past, we used a frame: Typhoon Lagoon Crate Yellow.--UpInTheAir 17:17, 17 June 2008 (PDT)

Ah ok :), I didn't see any other stack images used yet, I think it looks better :), I'll go with the frame :), thanks!--Haveamagicalday (Talk | Contributions) 17:28, 17 June 2008 (PDT)

Hey Up, how are you doing the open/close rotation images? Here's what I've done on Disneyland Retro Turnstile Color Blue :). Thanks!--Haveamagicalday (Talk | Contributions) 17:33, 17 June 2008 (PDT)

Those look fine to me. I might have done one before we added the rotation images, but let's keep doing them this way to be consistent. Thanks.--UpInTheAir 17:38, 17 June 2008 (PDT)

Here's a list of what stacked images we do not have uploaded on DOW yet:

--Haveamagicalday (Talk | Contributions) 07:37, 20 June 2008 (PDT)

Scoreboards

Hey Up! I noticed that you uploaded the five different lit images for the rotations (A & B) of the scoreboards :). I did one of them, let me know what you think needs to be worked on :). It's called Disneyland Ride Operator's Scoreboard Color Blue. --Haveamagicalday (Talk | Contributions) 08:53, 20 June 2008 (PDT)

Tiki Campfire

I noticed how the other animated objects, under notes, had it as 'release/retire date, {{animated}}, a bullet, and then an explanation of how the animation happened. I had formated the Tiki Campfire such as that, and then I noticed you changed it back to the original version done by you. I was just a little curious, why? ~Polar (GoodPolarGirl)

Mike's Car Spell

I've come across a pic of this as a possible in-game VMK item. I went ahead and started a discussion on the Trading card talk page. You might want to check this out. I'm not sure if it's worth pursuing. --Sugar 11:05, 3 July 2008 (PDT)

Quest Info

I was looking around the Quests pages, in-game specifically, and I noticed that the prizes were in no logical order, not even by how they were listed in the Quest Info window (or at least the two I can see). I went ahead and alphabetized some of the more recent quests. Let me know if I should continue doing so for past quests, or if I should just leave it alone ; ). Also the VMK's Memories Quest page is missing the Quest info window; would we have that anywhere? And the Heart of Gold Quest had some data entry problems around Task #2... I edited it so it would look normal, but we are still missing that question. Should I ask the board members? --Sugar 19:26, 3 July 2008 (PDT)

Prizes: Not sure how they've been added, lol...but alphabetical works so long as credits are always listed first. So put any credits and then the rest of the items alphabetized.

VMK's Memories Quest: Dug around the thousands of images I've yet to upload and found it ;) Uploaded and put onto page.

Captain Blackheart's Heart of Gold Quest: Checked my pics, don't have screenies for that quest. Prisoner may still have the questions although he went straight from what VMK gave him, so that probably reflected a VMK error. Anyways, perhaps double check w/ Priz and then the boards. However not many people have old quest questions.

A few more things, some quests have errors because they are VMK errors. If you run into these, just leave them. We document the quests as VMK presented them. Also, I have quite a few host quests to add still. Have them on my computer, just need to type them up, etc. There are some quests that still need spoilers as well (look here).

Thanks.--UpInTheAir 23:25, 3 July 2008 (PDT)

Stuff to Work On

I would like some stuff to work on. Any ideas? :) I would also like it within the VMK Section. Thanks in advanced. --GreenKman 16:47, 22 July 2008 (PDT)

Okay, so I did what you told me to and I picked the Mickey Christmas Tree. Let me know if i did anything wrong with it. :) --GreenKman 13:42, 23 July 2008 (PDT)

Oops

You're welcome! Thanks for telling me about that, I wasn't sure what the Summary box was for at first and so I left it empty. I tried adding something to the Summary for the third time I edited but I think I messed something up because it didn't show up. I backspaced out the title of the article before adding what I changed, maybe that was it? Also, I didn't get the PM on TTC, I don't know if it just didn't send or what but I wanted to let you know. Thank you for the reminder again!!! (I hope I didn't mess up this "my talk" thing either...) OstrichSam

Thanks for reformatting that page! I was starting to but didn't know where to start it. It looks a lot better than it was before, thanks! --Nickle 10:46, 29 July 2008 (PDT)

Game Info (POTCO)

Hey Up! I was working on a part of POTCO called Priavteering. The site has a nice guide on it, and Batleth has used the guide they have here, and I was wondering if I could do the same? Let me know, thanks :)! --Haveamagicalday (Talk | Contributions) 19:59, 8 August 2008 (PDT)

I think with all the sections it is nice to have a balance between official information and editor created guides. I'm fine with you adding some of the official guides here. It's nice to have them housed on our wiki for documentation as well. We never know what information will be removed/changed with the official sites, and having it here keeps a nice history. Not sure what you have in mind, but there are a couple of options.

1) Have a page that is only the official POTCO guide (probably a good idea to mention that it is the official guide that we have added here).

2) Do a hybrid page that is a mix of quotes from their guide with editor added annotations and explanations. Something similar was done with the Puffles page.

3) Have two pages, one editor written and one official, linking the official page to the editor made guide. For example, how our Pirates of the Caribbean page links to the official In-Game Pirates of the Caribbean Instructions.

Of course, with both options 1 and 3, a page for the official information will need to be made. The hybrid format is probably a little more time consuming and not necessarily that effective. --UpInTheAir 20:41, 8 August 2008 (PDT)

Ok thanks, I'll probably do just the official guide for now, if another editor has time to do the editor kind, feel free :)! When/If I have time later, I'll see if I can work on the editor kind :). Thanks Up! --Haveamagicalday (Talk | Contributions) 13:29, 9 August 2008 (PDT)

Animated gifs

Up, what program are you using to make animated gifs? -- SpinMarty 20:34, 14 August 2008 (PDT)

I'd like to know also. . .There are many action items that I would like to work on. --GoodPolarGirl 12:22, 16 August 2008 (PDT)

POTCO Quest Image Names

Hey Up! I was wondering how we should name the quest images. Should we name them by the quest name, which are all in caps, or something else? Thanks! --Haveamagicalday (Talk | Contributions) 11:06, 16 August 2008 (PDT)

I don't think the images necessarily have to be named in all caps. What I would recommend is to name them in a consistent and searchable manner. Pick a name that is representative of the image (so use the quest name/part of the quest name, but I don't think caps are a necessity) and easily found if searched on the File List.--UpInTheAir 12:15, 16 August 2008 (PDT)

Ok, I have had some uploaded in all caps. In the future, when things are more caught up, should we go back and put them in lower case then? --Haveamagicalday (Talk | Contributions) 13:02, 16 August 2008 (PDT)

I know we still have a lot of images that are named much worse than the POTCO ones. I wouldn't worry too much about going back and changing them, just figure out a consistent naming scheme to use from now on.--UpInTheAir 13:25, 16 August 2008 (PDT)

Ok thanks! OFx_Zeppers and I are talking about it in chat, with other things too on some POTCO things :). --Haveamagicalday (Talk | Contributions) 13:28, 16 August 2008 (PDT)

Great to hear that. Communication is key. Thanks for keeping me updated.--UpInTheAir 13:31, 16 August 2008 (PDT)

Player's Guide Pages

Is it ok for me to add the player's guide pages to the wiki? Here is an example I have already done. The link to the player's guide can be found here.

Image Names

Hi Up! I noticed when working on the rotations that this image was named wrong :). Gingerbread_Roof_1x1_Block_lit_roate_A.jpg I'm not sure if you want it fixed or not, but if you do fix it, please let me know, so I can go back, and fix the image of the page it is in :). Thanks! --Haveamagicalday (Talk | Contributions) 18:01, 22 August 2008 (PDT)

Thanks for letting me know. I reuploaded the image and took care of renaming it on the Gingerbread Roof 1x1 page so you don't have to :) Thanks again.--UpInTheAir 18:14, 22 August 2008 (PDT)

No problem :)! If I come across this again, would you want me to make a link/list of them? --Haveamagicalday (Talk | Contributions) 18:15, 22 August 2008 (PDT)

Works for me :) I know I still have to go back through the other lists and see what may have been uploaded already and try to find the ones that are missing. But lists will help me keep better track of things. Although I probably need to organize my Talk page a little better, lol. Thanks.--UpInTheAir 18:29, 22 August 2008 (PDT)

The Haunted Mansion Ballroom Candlestick Color Black lit rotation images are named wrong, if you want to change them, they are: Haunted_Mansion_Ballroom_Candlestick_Color_Black_rotate_A_lit.jpg Haunted_Mansion_Ballroom_Candlestick_Color_Black_rotate_B_lit.jpg Haunted_Mansion_Ballroom_Candlestick_Color_Yellow_rotate_A_lit.jpg Haunted_Mansion_Ballroom_Candlestick_Color_Yellow_rotate_B_lit.jpg

It's a little different I think than what is usually done. Let me know when/if you change it, so I may go back and fix it. Thanks : - )! --Haveamagicalday (Talk | Contributions) 18:41, 5 September 2008 (PDT)

An Image

Hi Up! I noticed when working on the rotations and in-use sections of VMK items, there is one image you had under the File List for the item Hanukkah Presents. The image is:
