Winter is just a few winks away now. . . On December 22, Pixie Hollow will welcome winter with the annual Winter Wonderland Party! Start the party in festively-decorated Havendish Square where Members can wrap up wintry gifts and send them to their Fairy friends. Then, toss a snowball with your friends in the Ballroom to earn your 2011 Friendly Snowball badge!
The main attraction will be the Ice Palace in Chilly Falls, back by popular demand! To gain access, you'll need to complete Silvermist's Bright Lights for Winter Quest for Members and earn your Ice Palace Key 2011 badge. You'll find frosty fun inside of the Ice Palace, including exclusive ice sculpture gifts and a snowy way to earn your 2011 Winter Wonderland badge.
The December Event Calendar has lots in store, too: The Minister of Winter will make special appearances in both the Ballroom and the Ice Palace, and the Snowfairies will be giving out Snow White Silly Sweets all month long!

Pre-Event Quest
A special quest, available to Members, was released on 7 December 2011 in preparation for the event. Players needed to visit Silvermist in Dewdrop Vale to begin the quest.Players who completed the quest were awarded a 2011 Ice Palace Key badge.

Special Release: The Ice Palace
Once the event started, the Minister of Winter's Ice Palace, located in Chilly Falls, was opened to Member players. To enter the Ice Palace, players were required to complete the quest and earn the badge. There, they could find four decorative event gifts. To receive the Chilly Chipmunk Sculpture, Polar Penguin Sculpture, Snowy Swan Sculpture and Frosty Owl Sculpture, players simply needed to click on the items. |  |

Players were also able to decorate the Ice Palace. By using your Grow Talent Skill, holly grew along the banisters and a Yellow Gem Bunch appeared.

Event Gifts
In honor of the 2011 Winter Wonderland Party, The Ballroom was opened to Member Fairies. Players could enter the Ballroom and receive a Snowman Silly Sweet gift. Once the gift was clicked, the gift disappeared. |  |

Players who met the Minister of Winter received a special gift of a Snowflake Blue Sparkling Sleigh. The Minister placed gift boxes in The Ballroom and players could click the gift box to collect. Once the gift box was clicked, the gift box turned gray then disappeared.

Interactive Play
During the event, Member players could create gifts in Havendish Square to give to their friends. Once the gift was complete, a friendly message was sent to everyone on the player's friend list.Players could also turn special lanterns on and off in Havendish Square.
