Quick Quest Guide
This Quest has 7 steps.What you will need: 15 Oak Leaves, and 25 Dandelion Fluff.
Sweet Tea Light: 15 Spider Silk, 5 Acorns, 2 Yellow Gems, and 2 bottles of Bumble Bee Yellow Dye (which costs 10 Spider Silk each).
Quick Steps
- Go to Iridessa’s Glade and ask her if she has any quests. Pick Light Tests.
- Earn a score of 6,000 points playing Firefly Light-Up, then return to Iridessa.
- Fly to Silvermist's Grotto in Dewdrop Vale and speak to Silvermist.
- Return back to Iridessa's Glade in Sunflower Gully and speak to Iridessa.
- Gather 15 Oak Leaves, and bring them to Iridessa.
- Personal Tinker a Sweet Tea Light using Bumble Bee Yellow Dye and give it to Iridessa.
- Earn a score of 20,000 points playing Fairy Fireworks, then return to Iridessa.
- Gather 25 Dandelion Fluff, and bring them to Iridessa.
- Pick your reward and the quest is over.
In Depth Quest Guide
This is a full walk through for the quest, so if you're confused by any of the quick steps, hopefully these can help you out.
Stop by Iridessa's Glade in Sunflower Gully and ask her if she has any quests. If you have finished the quest Haylo's Puzzle, the quest should pop up immediately and you'll be able to begin. Upon starting the quest, Dessa will greet you:
Iridessa: "Pixie Name Here! I hope you're here to help me investigate the secret of Haylo's gold star. Can I count on you?"
Step 1
Accept this Quest?Accept the quest and Iridessa is thrilled and gives you the first step.
Iridessa: "Flashtastic! First I want to see what the gold star does if I sprinkle pixie dust on it. Wait here!"
"How unusual!"
"The magic of pixie dust has no effect! Let's move on to Experiment Number 2."
"What will the gold star do if we expose it to the "living light" of a firefly? Come on, let's get a bright firefly by playing Firefly Light-Up!"
Fly to Springtime Orchard. Earn 6,000 points playing Firefly Light-Up. Return to Iridessa's Glade in Sunflower Gully when you are done!

It’s talent game time! Play Firefly Light-Up until you reach a score of at least 6,000 points (whether in one shot or cumulative), then return to Iridessa.
Step 2
I played Firefly Light-Up with Iridessa!Iridessa: "While you played, I asked Flickerton the firefly to help us. Stay here while he shines his glow on the gold star."
"Okay, Flickerton, shine it on!"
"Interesting. Firefly light makes the gold star flare real bright! But only for a second. Not very useful, is it?"
"Maybe colorful rainbow light will work better. Will you go ask Silvermist to come help me make a rainbow?"
Fly to Silvermist's Grotto. You can get there from Dewdrop Vale!

You're helping Iridessa investigate the gold star. Visit Silvermist!
Head up to Dewdrop Vale and enter Silvermist's Grotto. Speak with Sil.
Step 3
I'm here to see Silvermist!Silvermist: "Fly with you, little sprinkle! What are you up to?"
"Iridessa needs to make a rainbow? No problem. Go tell her I'm on my way!"
Fly to Iridessa's Glade. You can get there from Sunflower Gully!

Now flap back to Iridessa's Glade in Sunflower Gully and talk to Dessa again.
Step 4
I'm here to see Iridessa!Iridessa: "Is Silvermist coming? Good. When she gets here, I'll conduct the rainbow light experiment."
"While I do, will you set up the next experiment? I have an idea that might work if rainbow light doesn't. Go gather Oak Leaves!"
Gather 15 Oak Leaves and bring them to Iridessa's Glade in Sunflower Gully.

You're helping Iridessa investigate the gold star. Gather Oak Leaves!
An ingredient collecting task! You are looking for Oak Leaves if you don't have 15 already. Once you get the required 15 Oak Leaves, bring them to Iridessa.
Step 5
I have Oak Leaves for Iridessa!Iridessa: "Bad news. Sil and I made a rainbow, but all it did was make the gold star get HOT for a few seconds."
"So let's wrap the star in your Oak Leaves so that NO light touches it. Maybe total darkness is what it needs."
"SIGH."
"Darkness has no effect. But I'm not giving up! Let's see - if light and darkness don't work, what about HEAT?"
"Go make a Sweet Tea Light at Copper's Tinkering Nook. Be sure to use Bumble Bee Yellow Dye."
Fly to Copper's Tinkering Nook in Maple Tree Hill. Use Personal Tinkering to make a Sweet Tea Light. Use Bumble Bee Yellow Dye from Daisy's Dyes in Cherryblossom Heights. Fly to Iridessa's Glade in Sunflower Gully and give this item to Iridessa when you are done!

You're helping Iridessa investigate the gold star. Go make a Bumble Bee Yellow Sweet Tea Light at Copper's Tinkering Nook!
The first thing you need to do for this step of the quest is to see if you own a bottle of Bumble Bee Yellow Dye. If not, purchase it at Daisy's Dyes in Cherryblossom Heights which costs 10 Spider Silk. Then, flap over to Maple Tree Hill and enter Copper's Tinkering Nook. Once there, select Personal Tinkering and choose the Sweet Tea Light Blueprint from the list. This blueprint will be available for you to Personal Tinker from the moment you join the Hollow. Despite Iridessa suggesting you use Bumble Bee Yellow dye, you may use any shade of yellow to fulfill this requirement. You may also use any color you'd like for the second dye needed. Once you have finished tinkering the Sweet Tea Light, flit back to Iridessa and give the item to her.
Step 6
I tinkered a Sweet Tea Light for Iridessa!Iridessa: "You know, it might take time for the star to react to heat, so will you prepare our next experiment?"
"If the star reacts to heat - I only say IF - then maybe hot fireworks sparkles will get an even bigger reaction."
"Go get fireworks sparkles by playing Fairy Fireworks!"
Fly to Acorn Summit. Earn 20,000 points by playing Fairy Fireworks. Return to Iridessa's Glade in Sunflower Gully when you are done!

More talent game practice! You are off to play Fairy Fireworks until you reach a score of at least 20,000 points (whether in one shot or cumulative), then return to Iridessa.

I played Fairy Fireworks with the Minister of Autumn!Iridessa: "Sunshine, the gold star MOVED when it got warm! It almost jumped out of my hand! Hurry, let's see what these fireworks sparkles do!"
"Then again, if nothing happens, well... the gold star is still pretty. I can always keep it as a decoration."
"While I conduct this last experiment, will you gather Dandelion Fluff so I can polish it up?"
Gather 25 Dandelion Fluff and bring them to Iridessa's Glade in Sunflower Gully.

Another ingredient collecting task! You are looking for Dandelion Fluff if you don't have 25 already. Once you get the required 25 Dandelion Fluff, hurry on back to give them to Iridessa.

I have Dandelion Fluff for Iridessa!Iridessa: "Pixie Name Here! The fireworks sparkles did it! The star got so hot it zoomed right into the sky and exploded like a giant firework!"
"The flare could be seen much farther than any flares we light-talents can make! I'm going to call these gold stars "Light Stars"!"
"We can use them as emergency flares, or Fairy Coliseum lights, or as signals when we're on the mainland! What a flashtastic discovery!"
"We need to find out what the other stars do! Here, take the green star to Tinker Bell. Maybe she can find a tinker use for it. Good luck!"
