Garden Tea Party: Serving Tea (Quest)

Back to the Pixie Hollow Quests for Members page Garden Tea Party: Serving Tea is a quest you can get from Rosetta that was released for the 2011 Garden Tea Party. Upon completion, you will get the following as your reward: Honeycomb Yellow Serving-Talent Hat (Fairies) or Carnation White Serving-Talent Hat (Sparrow Men). Prerequisites: None. Released: 14 June 2011 Retired: 28 June 2011

Quick Quest Guide

This Quest has 4 steps.

What you will need: 35 Spider Silk (to purchase a Pale Purple Pollen Carrier Collection), as well as 25 Daisy Petals.

Quick Steps

• Go to Rosetta's Garden and ask if she has any quests. Pick Garden Tea Party: Serving Tea.
• Purchase a Pale Purple Pollen Carrier Collection from Treetop Housewares and give this item to Rosetta.
• Gather 25 Daisy Petals and give them to Rosetta.
• Go to Silvermist's Grotto and speak to Silvermist.
• Return to Rosetta.
• Pick your reward and the quest is over.

In Depth Quest Guide

This is a full walk through for the quest, so if you're confused by any of the quick steps, hopefully these can help you out.

Head over to Rosetta's Garden in Cherryblossom Heights and ask her if she has any quests. The quest should appear in the list of quests you may do and you can begin the quest immediately. Upon starting the quest, Rosetta will greet you:

Rosetta: "Oh good, you're back! Let's talk about having a tea party, and one of the most important parts ..."
"SERVING the tea! I learned how to do it from Laidel, one of the serving-talents in the Hollow. She really knows her stuff!"
"Do you want to start now?"

Step 1

Accept this Quest?

Once you agree, Rosetta is thrilled and gives you the first step.

Rosetta: "Great! Now, just like humans on the mainland, we pixies can add sugar, or milk, or honey or lemon to our tea. It depends on what we like."
"Sometimes that silly Clank adds all four, hee hee!"
"Each item should be served in a pretty container. Hm ... pollen containers are made to hold pollen, but they'll work for a tea service, too."
"How about flying to Treetop Housewares and getting a Pollen Carrier Collection?"

Fly to Treetop Housewares in Treetop Bend and get a Pollen Carrier Collection. Bring it to Rosetta's Garden in Cherryblossom Heights!

Story So Far

Rosetta is teaching you how to "prepare and share" a proper pixie tea party. Go get a Pollen Carrier Collection from Treetop Housewares!

To complete this task, you need to purchase an item from Treetop Housewares, which is located in Treetop Bend. Flap your wings over and enter the shop. Buy the Pale Purple Pollen Carrier Collection for 35 Spider Silk. Return to Rosetta and give her this item.

Step 2

I got a Pollen Carrier Collection for Rosetta!

Rosetta: "Yep, these little containers will work perfectly! Thanks, Pixie Name Here!"
"Next we need napkins. You have a choice -- pretty leaves or fragrant flower petals. Let's go with flower petals."
"Can you gather a few Daisy Petals? Daisy Petals will look just perfect!"

Gather 25 Daisy Petals and bring them to Rosetta's Garden in Cherryblossom Heights!

An ingredient collecting task! It's time to gather up some Daisy Petals, if you don't have 25 already. Once you get the required 25 Daisy Petals, return to Rosetta and give them to her.

Step 3

I gathered Daisy Petals for Rosetta!

Rosetta: "Bless my wings, these will make PERFECT flower petal napkins! Flaptastic!"
"Now let's see, we have our serving containers and our serving napkins. Now we need to get WHAT we're serving!"
"Silvermist is making some special sandwiches. Will you go see if she's finished?"

Fly to Silvermist's Grotto. You can get there from Dewdrop Vale!

Flit over to Dewdrop Vale and enter Silvermist's Grotto. Once there, speak to Sil.

Step 4

I'm here to see Silvermist!

Silvermist: "Hi, raindrop! How are the tea party lessons coming along with Rosetta?"
"You want to know what I'm making? Well, they're called watercress sandwiches. Watercress is a delicious plant that grows in the water."
"You just wash it and make sandwiches with it. People on the mainland make the sandwiches really little. Yum!"
"I've made a plate of them for the Garden Tea Party. Will you take it to Rosetta?"

Fly to Rosetta's Garden. You can get there from Cherryblossom Heights!

Story So Far

Rosetta is teaching you how to "prepare and share" a proper pixie tea party. Deliver Silvermist's watercress sandwiches to her!

Now it's time to visit Rosetta again. So fly up to Cherryblossom Heights and enter her garden.

Your Reward

I have watercress sandwiches for Rosetta!

Rosetta: "You're back! Oh, and with the sandwiches! Perfect! I'd like you to have this."
"Be sure to wear it in Palm Tree Cover when you serve cake to your friends at the Garden Tea Party event!"

If you are a Fairy, you get a Honeycomb Yellow Serving-Talent Hat as shown below as your reward. Sparrow Men will receive a Carnation White Serving-Talent Hat as shown below.
