Howdy DOS and welcome. We are glad to have you helping on the TT side of things. Just as a reminder, in the letter that you received for joining it was mentioned that when making edits you should put what you do in the "summary box" located just above the submit button. That way other editors can quickly see what you have done. Thank you and always feel free to ask questions. -- SpinMarty 21:55, 15 January 2008 (CST)
Thanks for the Welcome.
I will have to admit that I may not have completely read the entire email. I see where it says about the Summary box, and I'm off to fix those problems right now. Sorry for any confusion. - Doctor 16:58, 17 January 2008 (CST)
"Every time you edit, please make an entry in the "Summary" box, which is right above the save button. This helps other editors know what is being changed without having to compare two different versions."
Just a note, don't put your summary between /* */ ;) -- Scootz 17:42, 16 January 2008 (CST)
Thanks for the tip. - Doctor 16:58, 17 January 2008 (CST)
I'm not quite sure what you had in mind when you removed the "Creating Your Account" heading from the main VMK page. We have it there because our pages Registering and Creating your avatar both fall under this heading. These are both important steps in the creation of a VMK account, and so we label them as such. The removal of this heading made it look like these steps fell under the heading of VMK Rules and Values which doesn't make much sense.
Right now the VMK side of the wiki is pretty well established and so if you see anything that you have suggestions on, it is usually best to bring up your concerns on the Talk page first. Often we have things done for a reason, although there is still much work to be done and ways in which we can fine-tune and streamline this section. Thanks. --UpInTheAir 12:08, 21 January 2008 (CST)
I was under the impression that the "Creating your account" was a broken link, so I just deleted it since I thought it was a actual page. Sorry for the misunderstanding. - Doctor 16:35, 21 January 2008 (CST)
When we have a broken link, it's usually in red, not black, black means that there's no link inserted. Purple means that it's a link you've visited, and blue means it's a page, but you haven't visited it. Just letting you know :). --Haveamagicalday (Talk | Contributions) 16:38, 21 January 2008 (CST)
Thanks for the tip. I'll be asking more questions from now on, instead of assuming. - Doctor 08:38, 22 January 2008 (CST)
A question. In the CP area of the website, under "Snow Forts," would it be necessary to add a section for the Clock Tower also? Another wiki had it, and I was just wondering. - Doctor 17:27, 23 February 2008 (CST)
