Quick Quest Guide
This Quest has 6 steps.What you will need: 10 Acorns
Quick Steps
- Go to Silvermist's Grotto and ask if she has any quests. Pick Trouble In the Grotto.
- Go to Marina's Place and speak to Marina.
- Return to Silvermist.
- Earn a score of 4,000 points in Bubble Bounce, then return to Silvermist.
- Gather 10 Acorns and give them to Silvermist.
- Earn a score of 5,000 points in Fairy Fireworks, then return to Silvermist.
- Find 4 Buzz Brothers in the Spring Valley meadows, then return to Silvermist.
- Pick your reward and the quest is over.
In Depth Quest Guide
This is a full walk through for the quest, so if you're confused by any of the quick steps, hopefully these can help you out.
Head over to Silvermist's Grotto in Dewdrop Vale and ask her if she has any quests. The quest should pop up immediately and you'll be able to begin. Upon starting the quest, Silvermist will greet you:
Silvermist: "Oh, Pixie Name Here, thank the seasons you're here! I just went to pick up the keys to Mermaid Grotto, and they weren't there!"
"The mermaids have gotten much nicer towards us pixies. Now they leave keys to Mermaid Grotto on the shore so we can visit once a year."
"But this time, all I found on the shore was a note written in the sand. It said, 'Stay away from Grotto. Fang fish! Queen Eewee.'"
"What's going on? I need your help!"
Step 1
Accept this Quest?Once you agree, Silvermist is thrilled and gives you the first step.
Silvermist: "Thanks, Pixie Name Here. If Queen Eewee wrote that note, then something is very wrong."
"Queen Eewee is the queen of all mermaids! She's never communicated with us directly before."
"I suppose the first thing we need to do is find out what a "fang fish" is. Maybe Marina knows. Would you go ask her?"
Fly to Marina's Place. You can get there from the Fairy Coliseum!
Story So Far
You're helping Silvermist find out what a "fang fish" is. Go visit Marina!
Your first task is to visit Marina. Her place is located in Fairy Coliseum.
Step 2
I'm here to see Marina!Marina: "Hi, little bubble! You look upset. What's wrong?"
"Goodness glaciers, Pixie Name Here, a "fang fish" is a SHARK! You'd better tell Silvermist right away!"
Visit Silvermist at her grotto in Dewdrop Vale.
Story So Far
You're helping Silvermist get rid of a shark in Mermaid Grotto. Go visit her in Dewdrop Vale!
Flit back to Silvermist's Grotto as fast as you can to tell Silvermist about the shark.
Step 3
I learned what a "fang fish" is!Silvermist: "Suffering seafish, a "fang fish" is a SHARK?! A SHARK is in Mermaid Grotto?! No wonder the mermaids don't want us to go there!"
"But I've been waiting to see the mermaids all winter! There's only one thing to do -- we have to get that shark OUT of Mermaid Grotto!"
"I have a plan. First we need bubbles. Let's play Bubble Bounce!"
Fly to Dewdrop Vale. Earn 4,000 points playing Bubble Bounce. Return to Silvermist's Grotto in Dewdrop Vale when you are done!

You're helping Silvermist get rid of a shark in Mermaid Grotto. Play Bubble Bounce!
Play Bubble Bounce in Dewdrop Vale. Once you reach a score of 4,000 points (whether in one shot or cumulative), return to Silvermist.
Step 4
I played Bubble Bounce with Silvermist!Silvermist: "You did a splashtastic job, little sprinkle!"
"Now we need Acorns. Will you gather some?"
Gather 10 Acorns and bring them to Silvermist's Grotto in Dewdrop Vale.

Story So Far
You're helping Silvermist get rid of a shark in Mermaid Grotto. Gather Acorns!
An ingredient collecting task! You are looking for Acorns if you don't have 10 already. Once you get the required 10 Acorns, give them to Silvermist.
Step 5
I have Acorns for Silvermist!Silvermist: "Thanks, dewdrop! Now I need fireworks sparkles."
"Will you get some sparkles by playing Fairy Fireworks?"
Fly to Acorn Summit. Earn 5,000 points playing Fairy Fireworks. Return to Silvermist's Grotto in Dewdrop Vale when you are done!

Story So Far
You're helping Silvermist get rid of a shark in Mermaid Grotto. Play Fairy Fireworks!
Play Fairy Fireworks in Acorn Summit. Once you reach a score of 5,000 points (whether in one shot or cumulative), return to Silvermist.
Step 6
I played Fairy Fireworks with the Minister of Autumn!Silvermist: "Splashtastic! Now here's my plan. I'm going to put 3 Acorns and 1 sparkle into each bubble we collected."
"Then I'll ask the mermaids to float the bubbles in Mermaid Grotto. The sparkles will make the bubbles burst..."
"And that will send the Acorns zinging all around the grotto. The noise should scare the shark away!"
"Hm, I'll need to get word out that Mermaid Grotto is safe. My bee friends, the Buzz Brothers, might do it for me."
"Will you search the spring meadows and find the 4 Buzz Brothers?"
Fly to each spring meadow and look for the 4 Buzz Brothers. Click on each one to send him off with Silvermist's message. Return to Silvermist's Grotto in Dewdrop Vale when you are done!

Story So Far
You're helping Silvermist spread the word that Mermaid Grotto will be safe. Search for the 4 Buzz Brothers in the spring meadows!
This task is a little tricky! You need to flit through all the Spring Valley meadows to find all 4 bees! When you find one, make sure you click on him to "collect" the bee. Once you have found all the Buzz Brothers, flap back to Sil.
Your Reward
I found the Buzz Brothers!Silvermist: "Ripple-rific, Pixie Name Here, because guess what -- my plan worked!"
"There was a shark in Mermaid Grotto, and now it's gone! I already have the keys for our yearly visit with the mermaids!"
"Thanks for all your help, little sprinkle, and enjoy your shark-free visit!"
You get a 2013 Mermaid Grotto Key badge as show below as your reward; and earn 65 Talent Points.
