Pixie Hollow announced the 2011 Silly Days under the "Events" section on the Pixie Hollow site.

Silly Days

Now that the Spring Celebration is over, it's time to start practicing your funniest faces and goofiest giggles for Pixie Hollow's Silly Days! During last year's Silly Days, the mermaids tricked us, so this year Tinker Bell has some silly ideas of her own to share! But she can't do it all herself. Members, fly over to Tinker's Nook and help Tink with her quest to make mainland-inspired gags that will give the mermaids a good dose of the chuckles. And there's a special reward for it, too -- access to mysterious Mermaid Grotto! Just follow the signs in Palm Tree Cove, and they'll lead to Mermaid Grotto. Once you get there, look for a disguise to wear so that the mermaids don't see you!

Don't forget to play with all the silly gags in Havendish Square -- they're guaranteed to make everyone laugh! And while you're there, flitter into Fairy Tale Theater to share your jokes, shop at Cassie's for silly gear, and get a badge for watching Tink and her friends perform a funny show. The show runs at the top of the hour, every hour during the event, so it will be hard to miss!

Players who entered the game during the event got the following announcement:

Quest and Badge

A special quest, available to Members, was released on 29 March 2011. Players needed to visit Tinker Bell in Cottonpuff Field to begin the quest.

Key to Mermaid Grotto

Players who completed the quest were awarded a Mermaid Grotto Key badge.

Event Gifts

Once the quest was completed and the key earned, Mermaid Grotto could be accessed from Palm Tree Cove. There, Member players could find four decorative event gifts. To receive the Sparkling Yellow Seashell Glasses, Pine Green Seaweed Moustache, Rosetta Red Silly Octo-Hat and Lettuce Leaf Green Silly Top Hat, players simply needed to click on the items.

Famous Fairy Visits

A special play, put on by the Famous Fairies, was released in Fairy Tale Theater on 29 March 2011. At the top of every hour, the show would be performed.

Pixie Hollow Comedy Night

Players who purchased a Giant Bow Tie from Cassie's Costume Shop and wore it to the performance would earn the 2011 Silly Days badge.

Interactive Play

Tinker Bell decorated Havendish Square with silly gags for players to use. After clicking on one of the many cans in the meadow, a display of springs would pop out and surprise everyone.
