Quick Quest Guide
This Quest has 8 steps.What you will need: 10 Daisy Petals, 5 Feathers, 15 Dandelion Fluff, 12 Daisy Petals (to purchase 1 Bottle of Crimson Red Dye) and 15 Snowflakes. You will also need: 10 Acorns, 10 Snowflakes and 3 Honeycombs (to Personal Bake one batch of Acorn Cookies).
Quick Steps
- Go to Rosetta's Garden and ask if she has any quests. Pick Pickin' Contest.
- Gather 10 Daisy Petals and give them to Rosetta.
- Earn a score of 5,000 points on Fairy Fireworks and return to Rosetta.
- Gather 5 Feathers and give them to Rosetta.
- Earn a score of 5,000 points on Bubble Bounce and return to Rosetta.
- Gather 15 Dandelion Fluff and give them to Rosetta.
- Purchase 1 Bottle of Crimson Red Dye and give it to Rosetta.
- Go to Dulcie's Kitchen in Neverberry Thicket and personal bake 6 Acorn Cookies. Give them to Rosetta.
- Gather 15 Snowflakes and give them to Rosetta.
- Pick your reward and the quest is over.
In Depth Quest Guide
This is a full walk through for the quest, so if you're confused by any of the quick steps, hopefully these can help you out.
Head over to Rosetta's Garden in Cherryblossom Heights and ask her if she has any quests. If you have finished the quest Staring Contest, the quest should appear in the list of quests you may do and you can begin the quest immediately. Upon starting the quest, Rosetta will greet you:
Rosetta: "Well, I NEVER! Do you know what just happened, sugar? Lily challenged me to ANOTHER garden-talent skill contest!"
"I know, I didn't win the Starin' Contest we had awhile back. Lily won. But I DID win the Flappin' Contest!"
"I guess Lily can't resist trying to win again. Well, I'm not gonna make it easy for her!"
"I accepted her challenge for a Petal Pickin' Contest! Will you be my Pickin' Coach, sugar?"
Step 1
Accept this Quest?Once you agree, Rosetta is thrilled and gives you the first step.
Rosetta: "Plant-astic! Now, Petal Pickin' is just what it sounds like -- pickin' petals off flowers! ‘Course, we only do it when a flower is good and ready to let its petals go."
"Pickin' is very important for us garden-talents. Fairies use flower petals for everything from clothes to medicine!"
"I need to get some serious pickin' practice. I think I'll start by quick sortin' some Daisy Petals. Wil you gather me a bunch?"
Gather 10 Daisy Petals and bring them to Rosetta's Garden in Cherryblossom Heights.

An ingredient collecting task! It's time to gather up some Daisy Petals, if you don't have 10 already. Once you get the required 10 Daisy Petals, return to Rosetta and give them to her.
Step 2
I have Daisy Petals for Rosetta!Rosetta: "Thanks tons, sugar! While I practice, I need you to gather the ingredients for Fast Finger Lotion. Garden-talents use it for quicker pickin'."
"First we need fireworks sparkles. The sparkles help speed your fingers up!"
"Go help the Minister of Autumn over in Sunset Grove. I'm sure he'll give you some sparkles in return!"
Fly to Acorn Summit. Earn 5,000 points playing Fairy Fireworks. Return to Rosetta's Garden in Cherryblossom Heights when you are done!

Time for some talent game practice! Fly over to Acorn Summit and enter Sunset Grove. Play Fairy Fireworks until you reach a score of 5,000 points (whether in one shot or cumulative). When you are finished playing, return to Rosetta.
Step 3
I have fireworks sparkles for Rosetta!Rosetta: "Great, sugar! The next ingredient for Fast Finger Lotion is Feathers. Fly into the Wilderness and find some, okay? I'll keep practicing my pickin'!"
Enter the Wilderness and find 5 Feathers. Return to Rosetta's Garden in Cherryblossom Heights when you are done!

You are Rosetta's "Picking Coach" for her upcoming Petal Picking Contest. Fly into the Wilderness and gather Feathers!
This next step is a gathering step. To fulfill the requirement, you will need 5 Feathers. If you do not have the 5 needed already, fly to the Wilderness and Go Scouting. (Be sure to have enough cookies made prior to entering the Wilderness.) Once you have acquired the necessary amount, head on back to Rosetta to continue the quest.
Step 4
I have Feathers for Rosetta!Rosetta: "Perfect, sugarplum! Now the last ingredients for makin' Fast Finger Lotion is my little secret -- dust fresh off a dragonfly's wings!"
"Just think about it -- have you ever seen a SLOW dragonfly?"
"I just saw a bunch of dragonflies by Soapstone Stream. Why don't you go help Silvermist bounce fish bubbles there? I bet you'll find lots of dust!"
Fly to Dewdrop Vale. Earn 5,000 points playing Bubble Bounce. Return to Rosetta's Garden in Cherryblossom Heights when you are done!

More talent game practice now! Fly down to Dewdrop Vale and enter Soapstone Stream. Play Bubble Bounce until you reach a score of 5,000 points (whether in one shot or cumulative). When you are finished playing, return to Rosetta.
Step 5
I helped Silvermist at Soapstone Stream!Rosetta: "I see you got plenty of dragonfly wing dust, sugar. Perfect! I'll make the Fast Finger Lotion while you set up my next exercise, okay?"
"I want to strengthen my fingers by squeezin' Dandelion Fluff. Go gather up a whole bunch of ‘em!"
Gather 15 Dandelion Fluff and bring them to Rosetta's Garden in Cherryblossom Heights.

More ingredient collecting! This time you are searching for Dandelion Fluff, if you don't have 15 already. Once you get the required 15 Dandelion Fluff, return to Rosetta and give them to her.
Step 6
I have Dandelion Fluff for Rosetta!Rosetta: "Thanks, sugarplum! I finished makin' the Fast Finger Lotion, and I already put some on my hands. My, are they tingly!"
"While I exercise my grip with these Dandelion Fluff, I need you to get me some real bright dye. Crimson Red would be perfect."
"I need to paint my nails so I can see my fingers clearly against all the bright colors of the petals I'll be pickin'!"
Fly to Daisy's Dyes in Cherryblossom Heights and get 1 bottle of Crimson Red Dye. Bring it to Rosetta's Garden in Cherryblossom Heights when you are done!

Story So Far
You are Rosetta's "Picking Coach" for her upcoming Petal Picking Contest. Fly to Daisy's Dyes in Cherryblossom Heights and get 1 bottle of Crimson Red Dye!
Head on over to the other side of Cherryblossom Heights and enter Daisy's Dyes. Buy one bottle of Crimson Red dye, which costs 12 Daisy Petals. Once you have the dye, head back to Rosetta to give her the bottle.
Step 7
I have Crimson Red Dye for Rosetta!Rosetta: "Perfect! There's just one last thing I need you to do before I leave for the contest. While I paint my nails, go bake some cookies!"
"A few Acorn Cookies from Dulcie's Kitchen will give me an energy boost. It'll guarantee petal pickin' perfection!"
Fly to Dulcie's Kitchen in Neverberry Thicket. Use Personal Baking to make 6 Acorn Cookies. Return to Rosetta's Garden in Cherryblossom Heights when you are done!

Story So Far
You are Rosetta's "Picking Coach" for her upcoming Petal Picking Contest. Fly to Dulcie's Kitchen in Neverberry Thicket and bake Acorn Cookies!
This baking task must be completed in Dulcie's Kitchen, which is located in Neverberry Thicket. In order to Personal Bake the Acorn Cookies, the recipe must be available and completed. To open the recipe for Personal Baking, you must first complete it using Community Baking. Once you have the recipe ready for Personal Baking, bake your cookies. Try for a high quality score so that you earn all 6 cookies in the first batch. If you don't make the 6 Acorn Cookies needed the first time baking, continue to Personal Bake until you do. Fly back to Rosetta's when you have completed your baking task.
Step 8
I have fresh-baked cookies for Rosetta!Rosetta: "Sugar, those smell absolutely flitter-licious! Oops, I'm late for the contest! I'd better eat up quick!"
"MUNCH MUNCH! CHOMP CHOMP!"
"Sorry, had to eat fast. I'm leaving for the contest now -- wish me luck!"
"Oh wait! There's one last thing you can do for me. My right hand does most of the pickin', and it'll be awful sore after this contest."
"Could you gather up a few Snowflakes? There's nothing like a nice cool Snowflakes to sooth a sore hand."
"Thanks, sugar!"
Gather 15 Snowflakes and bring them to Rosetta's Garden in Cherryblossom Heights.

Last ingredient collecting! This time you need to find Snowflakes, if you don't have 15 already. Once you get the required 15 Snowflakes, return to Rosetta and give them to her.

"But bless my wings, you should have seen Lily go! I've never seen anybody pick petals so fast!"
