POTCO Beta Days

Early Beta Days

  • Pirates of the Caribbean Online first opened it's doors to early beta players on 13 March 2007.
  • During this extreme beta period not everything was finished. All of the audio and graphics inside the game were not yet fully completed.
  • Frequent crashes also happened during this extreme beta period.
  • This extreme beta period was available to players during the following days and times:
    • Thursday and Friday: 5 pm to 5 am (PT)
    • Saturday and Sunday: 9 am to 9 pm (PT)

Beta Phase 2 Days

  • Pirates of the Caribbean Online first opened it's doors for what we are calling "Beta 2" September 24, 2007.
  • During this beta period we believe most everything is finished.
  • The beta period was available to players 24/7 every day of the week (with the occasional closing for maintenance).
