Usually users pick a nickname that they use for their ToonTown Toon or VMK Character. It can be up to 30 Characters. Letters, numbers, or separators like | ,_underscores_, and even Tildes (~) are acceptable.

No spaces are allowed when choosing a nickname unfortunately.

Once the Live Chat button is clicked, a small Java window will open and will begin to log into the Live Chat. The Java window functions as an IRC client. This is similiar to a chat window like is used for MSN IM or Yahoo.
