Live Chat Phrase Abbreviations

Abbreviations are used inccesently on IRC. People find that it is easier to type an abbreviation for a phrase or long word rather than typing the whole thing out everytime.

Here are a few abbreviations that are commonly used. Also please keep in mind that abbreviations for non G-rated phrases and words are not allowed on the channels.

TY = Thank You BBS = Be Back Soon NP = No Problem TTL = Talk to you later BBL = Be Back Later AFK = Away From KeyBoard YW = Your Welcome LOL = Laugh Out Loud ROFL = Roll on Floor Laughing (also sometimes ROTFL) BBIAB = Be Back In a Bit IDK = I don't know
