Quick Steps

In Depth Quest Guide

This is a full walk through for the quest, so if you're confused by any of the quick steps, hopefully these can help you out.

Head over to Silvermist's Grotto in Dewdrop Vale and ask her if she has any quests. The quest should pop up immediately and you'll be able to begin. Upon starting the quest, Silvermist will greet you:

Silvermist: "Fly with you, raindrop! I heard from the Babbling Brook that you’re getting really good at the Splash Talent Skill. So I think it’s time for you to learn your next skill -- MOVE!"
"Sounds simple, doesn’t it? But Move can be tricky. See, water is never still. Even when it looks quiet, there are always currents moving under the surface."
"We water-talents need to know all the different ways that water can move, and how we can move it ourselves! Legend says that the very first water-talents learned a lot by watching the mermaids."
"Mermaids aren’t so friendly sometimes, but they sure know about water -- and especially about Move! Are you ready to learn, too?"

Step 1

Silvermist: "Ripple-rific! Okay, how to start, how to start ... Oh, that’s right! Let’s start with a review of the Splash Talent Skill. I should make sure you’ve really got it down first."
"Rani helped me gather sea foam to bring to the Mainland, and I want to thank her with a special gift -- a moss pillow!"
"Will you fly to the Bubbly Bog and use your Splash Talent Skill to collect some Extra Spongy Moss? That’s the best kind for pillows!"

Fly to Dewdrop Vale and enter the Bubbly Bog Wilderness. Use your Splash skill on some Extra Spongy Moss. Return to Silvermist's Grotto in Dewdrop Vale when you are done!
Progress: # of 1

Story So Far

Silvermist is ready to teach you your second Talent Skill, Move! First show how well you’ve mastered Splash by flying to the Bubbly Bog and using Splash on some Extra Spongy Moss.

Leave Silvermist's Grotto and fly up to the Bubbly Bog in Dewdrop Vale. Start a new quest and select Learn to Move. Complete all the challenges and return to Sil, proving to her that you have mastered the Splash skill. Be sure to have enough cookies made prior to entering the Wilderness.

Step 2

Silvermist: "Ooo, this moss is perfectly moist! You really have gotten the hang of Splash!"
"Let’s start your Move training. We water-talents can use water to lift things. The first water-talents got that idea by watching the mermaids play."
"The mermaids put seashells into bubbles and let the bubbles lift them into the air. Nowadays, we water-talents use bubbles to send messages!"
"In fact, I need to send all the garden-talents a message about proper winter watering on the Mainland. I’ll need bubbles for that."
"Why don’t we practice lift by bouncing some fishies at Soapstone Stream? That way we can also get bubbles for my messages. I’ll meet you there, okay?"

Fly to Dewdrop Vale. Earn 5,000 points playing Bubble Bounce in Soapstone Stream. Return to Silvermist's Grotto in Dewdrop Vale when you are done!
Progress: # of 5,000

Story So Far

Silvermist is teaching you your second Talent Skill, Move! Show her you understand the importance of lifting with water by bubble-lifting fish at Soapstone Stream!

When you're finished talking to Silvermist, head on across to Bubble Bounce. Once you earn a score of 5,000 points (whether in one shot or cumulative), head back over to Silvermist.

Step 3

Silvermist: "Splashtacular! Now, you’ve probably noticed little streams all over Pixie Hollow. Did you know that the first water-talents actually made some of them?"
"They got the idea by watching mermaids splash water on the shore. The mermaids liked to watch the water dig little pathways through the sand."
"The water-talents decided to try this, too. They dug streams by guiding water along specific paths, bringing it to gardens or the mill or wherever they needed it to go."
"One of those streams brings water to Iridessa’s sunflower field. But once in a while, the pathway it takes needs to be cleared. Why don’t you gather some Pine Needles to help clear it?"

Gather 30 Pine Needles and bring them back to Silvermist's Grotto in Dewdrop Vale.
Progress: # of 30

Story So Far

Silvermist is teaching you your second Talent Skill, Move! Show her you understand the importance of digging with water by gathering Pine Needles to clear a stream path.

So, once you're finished talking to Sil, it's time to gather up some Pine Needles, if you don't have 30 already. Once you get the required 30 Pine Needles, head back to Silvermist to continue the quest.

Step 4

Silvermist: "Great! Next let’s talk about pushing with water. The first water-talents saw mermaids splash their tails at a crocodile, making strong waves that pushed it away."
"So the water-talents began to use their pixie dust magic to push leaf boats carrying supplies for the Mainland down Havendish Stream."
"Actually, my leaf boat needs some repairs. It’s with Clank and Bobble right now, but they need Oak Leaves to finish the job. Can you help gather some?"

Gather 15 Oak Leaves and bring them back to Silvermist's Grotto in Dewdrop Vale.
Progress: # of 15

Story So Far

Silvermist is teaching you your second Talent Skill, Move! Show her you understand the importance of pushing with water by helping her with repairs to her leaf boat. Gather Oak Leaves to give to Clank and Bobble!

This time, you need to gather up some Oak Leaves, if you don't have 15 already. Once you get the 15 Oak Leaves needed, return to Silvermist and talk to her again.

Step 5

Silvermist: "Thank you, Fairyname here! Getting my leaf boat repaired will really help my water-talent work."
"But first we need to finish your Move skill training! One of the most important ways we water-talents move water is to catch it."
"We catch raindrops and dewdrops and sprinkles all the time! And the early water-talents didn’t need mermaids to show them how to do that."
"You don’t have your Move Talent Skill yet, but let’s see how well you can catch dewdrops off spider webs without it. Meet me in Spider Silk Grotto!"

Fly to Neverberry Thicket. Earn 10,000 points playing Water Web in Spider Silk Grotto. Return to Silvermist's Grotto in Dewdrop Vale when you are done!
Progress: # of 10,000

Step 6

Silvermist: "Wow, you’re doing great, raindrop! There’s only one last thing to do -- another trip into the Wilderness! You’ll probably want to bake a batch of cookies before you go."
"You know about that, right? We NEVER fly into the Wilderness without pixie-dust-filled cookies. You never know when you’ll need a few extra smidges!"
"Go visit Dulcie at her kitchen in Neverberry Thicket. Make the most pixie-dusted Acorn Cookies you can!"

Fly to Neverberry Thicket. Personal Bake some Acorn Cookies in Dulcie's Kitchen in Neverberry Thicket. Return to Silvermist's Grotto in Dewdrop Vale when you are done!

Step 7

Silvermist: "They look super yummy! I’ll only take one, okay? Hee hee!"
"Yum! Okay, before you start using the Move Talent Skill, I have an important water-talent task for you!"
"I’m sure you know how silly and funny Never Land butterflies are, right? They’re always in a good mood!"
"But I just heard that there’s a sad butterfly in the Silver Trees. It’s Sora the Swallowtail! It seems she flew too close to a sticky Honeycomb and now her wings are all sticky!"
"This is the perfect job to show how amazing your Splash skills are! See if you can find her and clean her wings!"
"You might want to take a couple friends with you too!"

Fly to Pumpkin Patch and enter the Silver Trees Wilderness. Find Sora the Swallowtail and use your Splash skill to clean her wings. Return to Silvermist's Grotto in Dewdrop Vale when you are done!

"Don’t forget to practice BOTH of your Talent Skills, okay? And remember to take friends with you to the Wilderness. You’ll need their help to finish your tasks there!"
