Quick Quest Guide
This Quest has 8 steps.What you will need: 15 Oak Leaves, 25 Twigs, and 30 pieces of Dandelion Fluff
Quick Steps
- Go to Iridessa's Glade and ask if she has any quests. Pick Iridessa's Shadow Play.
- Gather up 15 Oak Leaves for Iridessa and return them to her.
- Go to Mendy's Tailoring Nook in Maple Tree Hill and Personal Tailor a Grassweave Belt (any color), and return to Iridessa.
- Gather up 25 Twigs and return them to her.
- Get a score of 10,000 on Petal Pick-Up and return to Iridessa.
- Gather up 30 Dandelion Fluff and return them to her.
- Head on over to Rosetta's Garden in Cherryblossom Heights to go talk to Rosetta.
- Return to Iridessa.
- Go to Harmony's Home Collections in Neverberry Thicket and buy a Toy Bear (any color), then return to Iridessa.
- Pick your reward and the quest is over.
In Depth Quest Guide
This is a full walk through for the quest, so if you're confused by any of the quick steps, hopefully these can help you out.
Head over to Iridessa's Glade in Sunflower Gully and ask her if she has any quests. If you have finished the quest, Twinkle Twinkle (Part 2), the quest should appear in the list of quests you may do. Upon starting the quest, Iridessa will greet you:
Iridessa: "Hey, Fairyname Here! Wow, am I tired! I just got back from the Mainland. It's time for a rest! And..." "...it's also time for the Light-Talent Shadow Puppet Show! You've seen shadow puppets, haven't you?" "See, fireflies shine light from behind, and shadows of puppets are cast on a big wall. You watch the shadows, not the puppets!" "Want to help me make the puppets? It's okay if you've never made any before!"
Step 1
Once you agree, Iridessa is thrilled and gives you the next step.
Iridessa: "Oh, this will be so great! Lyria, a storytelling-talent, is going to tell the story while I operate the shadow puppets." "Guess what story I've chosen? "The Legend of Merth!" It's a classic about a friendly dragon named Merlin who lived long long ago." "Let's start by making the Merth puppet. I think I should cut his dragon shape out of leaves. Can you get me some Oak Leaves?"
Collect 15 Oak Leaves and bring them to Iridessa. Progress: 0 of 15
Story So Far
It's time for the annual Light-Talent Shadow Puppet Show! You're helping Iridessa make a dragon puppet first. You need to gather Oak Leaves.
You need to collect some ingredients. So, go search for 15 Oak Leaves. If you have 15 Oak Leaves already you don't have to leave you can just give them to her, and then the next step will begin.
Step 2
Iridessa: "Flickerific!" "I'll start making Merth's dragon shape out of these leaves. And do you know what will make a perfect tail for him?" "Go make a Grassweave Belt at Mendy's Tailoring Nook. It doesn't matter what color -- we'll only see it's shadow!" "I'd really like to have one made by you, Fairyname Here! So be sure to Personal Tailor it with care!"
Fly to Mendy at her tailoring nook in Maple Tree Hill and Personal Tailor a Grassweave belt for Merth's dragon tail. Progress: 0 of 1

It's time for the annual Light-Talent Shadow Puppet Show! You're helping Iridessa make a dragon puppet first. You need to Personal Tailor a Grassweave Belt at Mendy's Tailoring Nook.
You need to Personal Tailor a Grassweave Belt in any color, and return to Iridessa.
Step 3
Iridessa: "That's perfect! Ha! Merth's long tail will wave around as I move the puppet! It will look great!" "I'm still finishing Merth up, so can you fly another errand for me? I need Twigs to use as handles to move the puppets."
Collect 25 Twigs and bring them to Iridessa's Glade in Sunflower Gully. Progress: 0 of 25

It's time for the annual Light-Talent Shadow Puppet Show! You're helping Iridessa make a dragon puppet first. You need to gather Twigs.
You need to collect some ingredients. So, go search for 25 Twigs. If you have 25 Twigs already you don't have to leave you can just give them to her, and then the next step will begin.
Step 4
Iridessa: "Thanks! I just finished making Merth's dragon puppet, so all that's left is to attach a couple of those Twigs so I can move him around." "The next puppet has to cast a shadow that looks like a Fairy. I was thinking that Fairy wings are shaped like flower petals, so I'll use those." "Can you get different kinds of flower petals so I can choose the most wingy-looking? I'll attach two of them to a few of the twigs, and it will cast a Fairy shadow!" "You can get a lot of different petals by helping Rosetta up in Whispering Winds."
Fly to Whispering Winds in Cherryblossom Heights and earn 10,000 points playing Petal Pick-Up. Return to Iridessa when you are done! Progress: 0 of 10000
Story So Far
It's time for the annual Light-Talent Shadow Puppet Show! You helped Iridessa make a dragon puppet. Now you're getting flower petals to make a Fairy puppet.
Play Petal Pick-Up in Cherryblossom Heights. Once you get the score of 10,000 needed, quit the game or play until you finish then return to Iridessa.
Step 5
Iridessa: "Just as I thought -- lilies and cherryblossoms have petals that look like wings! I think I'll use the cherryblossoms." "I can finish the Fairy puppet now. Can you make a cloud puppet? It won't be too hard -- just get some Dandelion Fluff!"
Collect 30 Dandelion Fluff and bring them to Iridessa. Progress: 0 of 30
Story So Far
It's time for the annual Light-Talent Shadow Puppet Show! You helped Iridessa make a dragon puppet and a Fairy puppet. Now you need Dandelion Fluff for a Cloud puppet.
Final ingredients to collect . So, go search for 30 Dandelion Fluff . If you have 30 Dandelion Fluff already you don't have to leave you can just give them to her, and then the next step will begin.
Step 6
Iridessa: "Wow, we could make a whole storm's worth of clouds with all this Dandelion Fluff! Thanks!" "The next puppet will be pretty funny to make. I need a Tree puppet, and I think we can make one out of a vegetable. Really, I'm serious!" "Can you visit Rosetta and see if she has anything in her garden that looks like a little tree? I bet she does!"
Go see if Rosetta has anything that looks like little trees.
Story So Far
It's time for the annual Light-Talent Shadow Puppet Show! You helped Iridessa make dragon, Fairy and cloud puppets. Now you need to visit Rosetta for help making a tree puppet.
Head over to Rosetta's Garden in Cherryblossom Heights and ask Rosetta about a tree puppet.
Step 7
Rosetta: "Sugarplum! Hi there! Have you come to get a petal chain necklace?" "Oh! I forgot all about the shadow puppet show! Thanks tons for remindin' me! I don't want to miss it!" "My, what a strange request -- you need somethin' that looks like a little tree! But ya know something? I happen to have just the right thing!" "Perfect!" "Here's a little sprig of broccoli. Say it -- brah-koh-lee. It's tastly, good for ya, and it looks just like a little tree! It's just what Iridessa needs." "Tell her I can't wait to see the show!"
Take the broccoli to Iridessa for a tree puppet.
Story So Far
It's time for the annual Light-Talent Shadow Puppet Show! You helped Iridessa make dragon, Fairy and cloud puppets. Now you're bring her broccoli for a tree puppet.
Head back to Iridessa's Glade and deliver the broccoli to Iridessa.
Step 8
Iridessa: "HA! I thought I remembered some kind of veggie that looked like a tree, and I was right! Pretty good, huh, Fairyname Here?" "The last puppet we need is a bear, and guess what -- Harmony has some in her shop! It will cast the exact shadow we need!" "Can you go get a toy bear at Harmony's Home Collections in Neverberry Thicket?"
Visit Harmony's Home Collections in Neveryberry Thicket and see if she's got any toy bears. Progress: 0 of 1
Story So Far
It's time for the annual Light-Talent Shadow Puppet Show! You helped Iridessa make dragon, Fairy, cloud and tree puppets. Now you need to get a toy bear at harmony's Home Collections in Neverberry Thicket.
Now that you've gotten all the other puppets, you need to buy a toy bear. Head on over to Harmony's Home Collections in Neverberry Thicket and buy a Bear Doll. Once you buy the toy bear head back to Iridessa to give her the bear and finish the quest.
Iridessa: "Oh, he's so cute! He'll make a wonderful bear shadow puppet after I attach a couple Twigs on him so I can move him around." "Well, Fairyname Here, that's it. The shadow puppets are done! Thank you so much for helping me. I know the show's going to be flickerific!" "Oh, and here! These Fairy Tale book are for you!" "The tall book includes "The Legend of Merth" in it!"
