Getting In Truffle (Quest)

Quick Quest Guide
This Quest has 11 steps.What you will need: 20 Sunflower Seeds and 13 Daisy Petals (to buy 1 Bottle of Bark Brown Dye).
Quick Steps
- Go to Iridessa's Glade and ask if she has any quests. Pick Getting In Truffle.
- Go gather up 13 Daisy Petals and buy a Bottle of Bark Brown Dye and then return to Iridessa to give the dye to her.
- Get a score of 20,000 on Water Web, then return to Tink.
- Gather up 20 Sunflower Seeds for Iridessa and return them to her.
- Go to Rosetta's Garden in Cherryblossom Heights to visit Rosetta.
- Return to Iridessa.
- Go back to Rosetta's Garden and talk to Rosetta.
- Go to Fawn's Hideout in Maple Tree Hill to visit Fawn.
- Get a score of 5,000 on Harvest Hustle and return to Fawn.
- Go to Tinker's Nook and talk to Tink.
- Head on over to Silvermist's Grotto in Dewdrop Vale to go talk to Silvermist.
- Return to Iridessa.
- Pick your reward and the quest is over.
In Depth Quest Guide
This is a full walk through for the quest, so if you're confused by any of the quick steps, hopefully these can help you out.
Head over to Iridessa's Glade in Sunflower Gully and ask her if she has any quests. If you have finished the quest, Twinkle Twinkle, the quest should appear in the list of quests you may do. Upon starting the quest, Tink will greet you:
Iridessa: "Hey, Fairyname Here! Have you met Bernard yet? He's a big forest boar who comes to visit Pixie Hollow now and then. And when he does..." "...he brings us Never Truffles! Wait, you don't know what a truffle is? It's a special kind of mushroom that only boars can find, and only in the western forest." "Oh, you have GOT to try one! They taste...they're so...they're amazing!" "Hey, I have an idea - if you and I work together and make Bernard a gift, he's sure to give us a truffle, don't you think? Truffles are really big - one would be enough to share with everybody!" "Oh, let's do it, please! Truffles are sooooo good!"
Step 1
Once you agree, Iridessa is thrilled and gives you the next step.
Iridessa: "Great! Trust me, you won't regret it! Truffles are better than poppy puff rolls! They're even better than, than sunflower tarts! They're --" "Okay, sorry... I'll calm down. But we need to get to work. Bernard only has a few truffles, and he never stays in Pixie Hollow long. We'll have to impress him quick." "Let's see...Bernard always likes to look his best. That's it! Let's make him some hoof polish!" "Can you go get a bottle of dye? It needs to be Bark Brown, okay? Try Daisy's Dyes in Cherryblossom Heights."
Fly to Daisy's Dye in Cherryblossom Heights and buy one bottle of bark brown dye. Return to Iridessa's Glade in Sunflower Gully. Progress: 0 of 1

Head on over to Cherryblossom Heights and buy a Bottle of Bark Brown Dye, which cost 13 Daisy Petals. Once you buy the bottle head back to Iridessa to give her the bottle.
Step 2
Iridessa: "That's the one! That brown matches the color of Bernard's hooves!" "Let's make the polish. First we need clear water. Well, there's no better way to get nice clear water than to help Silvermist collect dew drops in Spider Silk Grotto." "Why don't you go do that while I find bowls to mix the polish in?"
Fly to Spider Silk Grotto in Neverberry Thicket and earn 20,000 points playing Water Web. Return to Iridessa's Glade when you are done! Progress: 0 of 20000

Play Water Web in Neverberry Thicket. Once you get the score of 20,000 needed, quit the game or play until you finish then return to Iridessa.
Step 3
Iridessa: "We're one step closer to a truffle! Here, put the dewdrops in this nut shell." "Polishes can be made different ways, but I have a favorite recipe. First I need Sunflower Seeds. Can you go get some?"
Collect 20 Sunflower Seeds and bring them back to Iridessa. Progress: 0 of 20

Collect some ingredients. So, go search for 20 Sunflower Seeds. If you have 20 Sunflower Seeds already you don't have to leave you can just give them to her, and then the next step will begin.
Step 4
Iridessa: "Oh, they're perfect!" "While I crush them, can you go see if Rosetta has any marigold pollen? I need a chestnut cup full."
Go ask Rosetta if she has any marigold pollen. Rosetta's Garden is in Cherryblossom Heights.

Go to Rosetta's Garden in Cherryblossom Heights and ask Rosetta about pollen.
Step 5
Rosetta: "Is that you, Fairyname Here? I'll be there in a sec! Just puttin' the finishing touch on a corn husk bottle of very special perfume!" "It's all done. My own creation, "Ode de Boar" cologne!" "Oh, Iridessa sent you? Marigold pollen? Well, of course she can have some!" "..." "Here ya go, one chestnut cup of pollen." "Sweet pea, after you've dropped that pollen off with Iridessa, could you flit on back? I need just the teensiest favor."
Take the marigold pollen to Iridessa and return to Rosetta.

Go back to Iridessa's Glade and give Iridessa the pollen.
Step 6
Iridessa: "Oh, thanks! Look, I don't have the right bowl to mix the hoof polish. I'm going to go borrow one from Bess." "I'll be back in two shakes of a dragon's tail. If I need you, I'll let you know!"
Return to Rosetta's Garden in Cherryblossom Heights.
Story So Far

Go back to Rosetta's Garden and talk to Rosetta.
Step 7
Rosetta: "You're back! I bet you're wondering why I made the "Ode de Boar" cologne, aren't ya?" "Well, Bernard the Boar is in the Hollow, and he has truffles! I figure if I give him a present, he just might give me one! Am I clever or what?" "I really hope I can get one, cuz then I can throw a Tea and Truffle Party! Talk about yummy fun!" "Speakin' of fun, I want to add a fun little touch to Bernard's gift - a curly feather!" "Fawn finds feathers in the forest all the time. Can you go ask her if she's got a nice curly one?"
Go ask Fawn if she's got a nice curly feather.

Go to Fawn's Hideout in Maple Tree Hill and ask Rosetta about pollen.
Step 8
Fawn: "HUH?? Oh, it's just you, Fairyname Here. Wait, I didn't mean it like THAT, it's just - well, what are you doing here? You need a feather for Rosetta? AAAAGH!!" "Sorry. I am just SO frazzled! I said I'd help Beck, Finn AND Nettle each with something today. But I'm already totally buried in projects!" "See, Bernard's here with truffles, so I'm helping Silvermist make him a travel pouch he can hang from his tusk. She hopes he'll give her a truffle in return so she can throw us a truffle sandwich picnic." "And Tink just came by and asked if I could help her make a present for Bernard so she can get a truffle and have Dulcie bake Truffle Puffs for everybody." "Could I just tell Tink, "Sorry, I can't help you"? No. I had to snap at her like a miffy ol' badger cuz my frazzleness over-frazzled. I feel really bad about it." "I need to apologize to Tink. Do you think you could come with me to Knothole Pantry and help me put together an "I'm-sorry" goodie basket for her?"
Fly to Knothole Pantry in Pumpkin Patch and earn 5,000 points playing Harvest Hustle. Return to Fawn's Hideout when you are done! Progress: 0 of 5000

Bernard the Boar has brought delicious truffles to Pixie Hollow. You're helping Iridessa make Bernard a gift, but Rosetta sent you to Fawn for a curly feather and now Fawn wants your help to apologize to Tinker Bell.
Play Harvest Hustle in Pumpkin Patch. Once you get the score of 5,000 needed, quit the game or play until you finish then return to Fawn.
Step 9
Fawn: "Thanks so much, chickadee." "Now could you take this goodie basket to Tink for me?" "Just leave it by her desk. She should be at lunch, so when she comes back and finds it, she'll read the I'm-sorry poem I wrote for her. I already slipped it into the basket."
Fly to Tinker Bell and put the harvest goodie basket on her work table.
Story So Far
Bernard the Boar has brought delicious truffles to Pixie Hollow. You're helping Iridessa make Bernard a gift, but Rosetta sent you to Fawn for a curly feather and now Fawn wants your help to apologize to Tinker Bell.
Go to Tinker's Nook in Cottonpuff Field and give Tinker Bell the basket.
Step 10
Tinker Bell: "Hi, Fairyname Here! What are you doing here? It's lunchtime. But you know me - no lunch till I finish this job!" "What are you hiding behind your back? An I'm-sorry goodie basket from Fawn? Ohhh, I see. Silvermist is making Bernard a gift, too. Fawn should have told me!" "WHAT? Rosetta's making one, too? AND Iridessa?" "Ah, thistles! We can't ALL give Bernard gifts for truffles! This is ridiculous!" "Fairyname Here, go see Silvermist right away. Tell her to send everybody a bubble message. Let's get together and talk about this!"
Fly to Silvermist's Grotto in Dewdrop Vale.
Story So Far
Bernard the Boar has brought delicious truffles to Pixie Hollow and EVERYONE wants some. Tinker Bell wants you to have Silvermist call everyone together so you can talk about it.
Go to Silvermist's Grotto in Dewdrop Vale and ask Silvermist to get everyonet together.
Step 11
Silvermist: "*SNIFF* Oh hi, raindrop. I just got the worst news! Bernard the Boar just *SOB* left Pixie Hollow!" "Word is he was waiting for us to *SNIFFLE* just ask him for the truffles, and nobody did! So he figured we weren't interested in them anymore, and he *SOB* he ATE them!" "I heard *SNIFF* you were helping Iridessa make a gift for Bernard, too. *SNIFF* You'd better tell her what happened, okay?"
Go to see Iridessa and tell Bernard ate all the truffles.
Story So Far
Bernard the Boar brought delicious truffles to Pixie Hollow. You tried to help your friends get a few, but eveerybody took so long that Bernard ate the truffles himself and left! Now you have to break the news to Iridessa.
Go back to Iridessa's Glade and break the news to Iridessa.
Iridessa: "Moon and stars, where have you been? I can hardly wait for you to try a truffle for the first time!" "What? Bernard ate all the truffles... and then he left?" "Well, I suppose we all deserve it, don't we? I feel so... so... dumb. We'll know better next time." "Well, if the sun can shine on a bad day, I guess I can, too. The least I can do is thank you for helping me -- for helping all of us, really." "Hold on just a minute..." "..." "Here you go, sunshine -- I found a use for that Bark Brown polish!" "Thanks again, Fariyname Here!"
