Back to the Pixie Hollow Quests for all Players page Flappy Facts is a quest you can get from Kit. Upon completion, you will receive a point toward the Kit Mainland Quests Badges. Special Note: Kit’s quests are designed to be performed on the Mainland only, not while playing in-game. Quick Steps

• Go to Kit's Place in Evergreen Overlook and ask if she has any quests. Pick Flappy Facts.
• Find a feather and examine it for the row of barbs it has.
• After 24-hours, return to Kit to inform her you completed the task and the quest is over.

In Depth Quest Guide

This is a full walk through for the quest, so if you're confused by any of the quick steps, hopefully these can help you out.

Fly to Evergreen Overlook and enter Kit's Place. Ask Kit if she has any quests. The quest should pop up immediately and you'll be able to begin. Upon starting the quest, Kit will greet you:

Kit: "Have you ever wondered how birds can flap their wings hard enough to fly, but their feathers don’t blow apart in all that wind?"
"You need to look at a feather real close. It has all these little ridges in neat rows. Those are called barbs."
"And the reason all those barbs don’t pull apart from each other is because they have tiny HOOKS! Those hooks, called barbules, hold the whole feather together! Neat, huh?"
"Hey, go find a feather and look for the barbs. They’re easy to see. The hooks, or barbules, are too small to see; but they’re there! Want to look at a feather?"

"Those hooks, called barbules, hold the barbs to each other. They hold the whole feather together! Flitterific, huh?"

Step 1

Kit: "Great! If you have a pet bird in the house, it shouldn’t be hard to find a dropped feather. You might also get a feather from a local pet store. Ask a parent for help with this, okay?"

Find a feather and look at the rows of barbs. Be sure to ask a parent for help with this quest.

Story So Far

Kit wants you to find a feather and look at the rows of barbs, all held in place by tiny hooks called barbules.

Once you log out of Pixie Hollow, find a feather and look closely at it. Can you find the row of barbs in the feather?

Is Kit here?

After 24-hours, log back in and visit Kit again. She will ask you if you have completed the task:

Kit: "Of course I’m here! Did you check out a feather and see the barbs?"

Select: Yes.

Kit: "Amazing, huh?"
