Black Guard

Avoid these blaggards unless you're ready for a nasty fight. These elite mercenaries are in the employ of the East India Trading Company, and they obey their own laws -- or rather, the laws deemed convenient by Lord Cutler Beckett, the ruthless guiding hand behind the EITC.
  • The EITC are enemies in POTCO.
  • The EITC can not be harmed by the Pistol, but can be harmed with all other weapons.
  • The EITC have a fleet of ships in the Caribbean.

We still need a complete listing of all EITC people and ships. For EITC peoples' locations, I have only put down Padres Del Fuego. This, of course, is wrong. Some of them appear on Port Royal and Tortuga, we just need to figure out which ones. --Schmoofypage|talk 09:56, 22 June 2007 (CDT)

OK, so I haven't had a chance to play yet but it might be a good idea to explain what an EITC is. --SpinMarty 10:00, 22 June 2007 (CDT)

East India Trading Company. Their ships are marked with the EITC prefix, Navy ships marked with a Navy prefix. The EITC wear black in the game and are a lot more difficult to defeat than Navy. --Schmoofypage|talk 10:24, 22 June 2007 (CDT)

Page Moved?

I saw that this page was moved, should it have been moved though? Yes, this is the correct name for it, but it's rarely used. On almost all quests it uses EITC and ships use EITC. It's rarely seen on POTCO. --CL_Haveamagicalday

Although it is rarely used, it is what it stands for. I haven't seen a single page defining what EITC stands for. --Scootz 18:13, 8 December 2007 (CST) (Talk | contribs)

EITC stand for East India Trading Company. --Haveamagicalday
