Critter Tests (Quest)

Quick Quest Guide
This Quest has 6 steps.What you will need: Enough baked goods to renew your Pixie Dust while completing five challenges in the Wilderness.
Gadgety Goggles: 3 Meadow Grass, 2 Oak Leaves, 5 Spider Silk, 4 Twigs, and 2 bottles of dye.
Quick Steps
- Go to Fawn's Hideout and ask her if she has any quests. Pick Critter Tests.
- Fly to The Bubbly Bog Wilderness in Dewdrop Vale and start a new adventure called, Critter Tests. Complete all of the challenges within the adventure, and then return to Fawn.
- Earn a score of 30,000 points playing Harvest Hustle, then return to Fawn.
- Earn a score of 25,000 points playing Seed Sorter, then return to Fawn.
- Compete in 1 Animal Derby race to see if the star helps you win, then flap back to Fawn.
- Fly over to Bobbin's Tailoring Nook in Springtime Orchard and select Personal Tailoring to make a pair of Gadgety Goggles using any 2 bottles of dye and bring them to Fawn.
- Fly to Iridessa's Glade in Sunflower Gully and speak to Iridessa.
- Pick your reward and the quest is over.
In Depth Quest Guide
This is a full walk through for the quest, so if you're confused by any of the quick steps, hopefully these can help you out.
Head over to Fawn's Hideout in Maple Tree Hill and ask her if she has any quests. If you have finished the quest Garden Tests, the quest should pop up immediately and you'll be able to begin. Upon starting the quest, Fawn will greet you:
Fawn: "Heya, chickadee! I hear you've been flapping around discovering uses for magic stars that Iridessa made. Do you have a star for me?"
"Um... it's ORANGE. Whoever heard of an orange star? But if Iridessa says it's got some kind of animal power, hey, I'm all over it!"
"Want to help me test it out?"
Step 1
Accept this Quest?Accept the quest and Fawn is thrilled and gives you the first step.
Fawn: "Critterific! Our first test is pretty simple - can the orange star help critters in need?"
"Here, take the star into the Bubbly Bog Wilderness. See if the star helps you to help the animals."
Fly to Dewdrop Vale, enter the Bubbly Bog Wilderness, and help 3 Butterflies and 2 Frogs. Return to Fawn's Hideout in Maple Tree Hill when you are done!

Story So Far
You're helping Fawn investigate the orange star. Fly to Bubbly Bog and help 3 Butterflies and 2 Frogs!
Ready to go on an adventure? Leave Fawn's Hideout and fly to The Bubbly Bog in Dewdrop Vale. You must have reached Talent Level 3 to enter the Wilderness. Start a new quest by choosing Lead an Adventure and select Critter Tests. Once you have finished completing all five challenges, return to Fawn. Make sure to have enough baked goods made prior to entering the Wilderness!
Step 2
I helped some critters in Bubbly Bog!Fawn: "So did the orange star help you out?"
"It didn't, did it? Oh, fiddle fern. But here's another idea - FOOD! I've said it before and I'll say it again - critters eat a lot!"
"Wouldn't it be great if the star could help us sort the critter food stored in Knothole Pantry? Let's play Harvest Hustle and find out!"
Fly to Pumpkin Patch. Earn 30,000 points playing Harvest Hustle. Return to Fawn's Hideout in Maple Tree Hill when you are done!

It’s talent game time! Play Harvest Hustle until you reach a score of at least 30,000 points (whether in one shot or cumulative), then return back to Fawn.
Step 3
I played Harvest Hustle with Fawn!Fawn: "I carried the orange star with me while we played, but it didn't do anything."
"Hm. Sometimes we animal-talents take seed packets to the mainland for birds who can't find seeds to eat."
"If the star can't sort big stuff like berries, maybe it can sort little stuff like seeds. Will you go play Seed Sorter with it and find out?"
Fly to Treetop Bend. Earn 25,000 points playing Seed Sorter. Return to Fawn's Hideout in Maple Tree Hill when you are done!

More talent game practice! This time, play Seed Sorter until you reach a score of at least 25,000 points (whether in one shot or cumulative), then return to Fawn.
Step 4
I played Seed Sorter with the Minister of Spring!Fawn: "Did the orange star help? NO?! Aw, thistle thorns!"
"But don't worry, I have another idea! Critters in the wild have to run fast for lots of reasons. What if the star can help them run faster?"
"Go run a race at the Animal Derby and see if the star helps you win!"
Fly to the Fairy Coliseum and run a race at the Animal Derby. Return to Fawn's Hideout in Maple Tree Hill when you are done!

Story So Far
You're helping Fawn investigate the orange star. Play Animal Derby!
Let's go race! Fly to the Fairy Coliseum and compete in one race to see if the star can help you win. You will need at least one Fairy friend to help you with this task. Enter Animal Derby and complete a race. You may choose any animal and the task will be fulfilled. Then, flit back to Fawn.
Step 5
I played Animal Derby!Fawn: "So, you ran a great race, but the orange star didn't help you do it, huh? Okay, I have one last idea - pixie dust!"
"I'm sprinkling pixie dust on it... hey! The star is making a noise! But it's so faint, I can hardly hear it..."
"I need to try more pixie dust, so I'm going to make a dust cluster. It will be super powerful cuz it'll use all my pixie dust for the day."
"I'll need to protect my eyes from all the extra dust. Can you please tailor a pair of goggles at Bobbin's Tailoring Nook for me? Make them any color you like!"
Fly to Bobbin's Tailoring Nook in Springtime Orchard. Use Personal Tailoring to make a pair of goggles using any color dye. Fly to Fawn's Hideout in Maple Tree Hill when you are done!

Story So Far
You're helping Fawn investigate the orange star. Tailor a pair of goggles at Bobbin's Tailoring Nook!
The first thing you need to do for this step of the quest is to see if you own at least 2 bottles of dye. If not, purchase them from Daisy's Dyes in Cherryblossom Heights. You may choose any 2 colors of dye available; once you've made your purchases, flit over to Bobbin's Tailoring Nook located in Springtime Orchard. Choose Personal Tailoring and select the Gadgety Goggles Pattern from the list using your 2 bottles of dye. You must have reached Talent Level 6 to unlock this pattern. Also, make sure you have the ingredients required for the pattern. When you are finished tailoring, hurry back to Fawn.
Step 6
I made a pair of goggles for Fawn!Fawn: "You're too late! The second I finished forming my pixie dust cluster, the star reacted! Remember how I heard it make a faint noise before?"
"The dust cluster made it boom out an alarm that I could translate into every animal language! It was like a universal alarm for animals!"
"This is critterific! If an emergency comes up, we animal-talents now have a way of warning animals of all kinds all at once!"
"Oh, you gotta go tell Iridessa about all the flaptastic things these stars of hers can do! Go, hurry!"
Fly to Iridessa's Glade. You can get there from Sunflower Gully!

You helped Fawn investigate the orange star. Now go tell Iridessa all the good news!
Hurray! For your last task, flap over to Iridessa's Glade in Sunflower Gully and speak with Dessa about what you have discovered with each star.
