The Toolbar is located at the bottom of the screen. Each button allows your to manage your penguin.
From left to right the buttons are: Messages, Emote, Actions, Snowball, Chat Bar, Send, Edit Player, Show Buddies, Your Home, Edit Account
Messages
Clicking this button brings up the speed chat. See Speed Chat for more information.
Emote
Emotes are a quick visual way to say something without having to type. Clicking this button brings up the Emote Screen
Click an emote to have it show up. There are also keyboard shortcuts for these (and other actions).
Actions
Clicking the Actions Button brings up the Actions Screen
The Action Screen allows for several options: Dance, Wave, Sit. Sometimes clicking one of these buttons allows your penguin to perform special actions if wearing the appropriate clothing. See Action Items to see what actions your penguin can perform. In addition, there are Quick Key options for these as well.
Dance
The Dance button makes your penguin dance. Click to start, click or walk to stop. Sometimes it allows your penguin to perform another action if wearing the right clothing.
Wave
The Wave button makes your penguin wave. Click to start, click or walk to stop. Sometimes it allows your penguin to perform another action if wearing the right clothing.
Sit
The Sit button makes your penguin sit. There are four directions your penguin can sit. Sometimes it allows your penguin to perform another action if wearing the right clothing.
Snowball
Click to throw a snowball. There is a Quick Key option as well.
Using the target that pops up, use your mouse to locate where you want to throw the snowball. Click to throw. This comes in handy when having a Snowball Fight at the Snow Forts
Chat Bar
It is here that you can type what you want to say. Either press "Enter" on your keyboard or the Send Button to chat.
This will show how many buddies you have, how old your penguin is, as well as allows your to click to the main Club Penguin site to manage membership and other things.
