Light-Talent Revue (Quest)

Light-Talent Revue is a quest you can get from Iridessa. Upon completion, you will receive Buttercup Yellow Sunburst Petal Belt (Fairies) or Buttercup Yellow Bangle Tie Belt (Sparrow Men).

Prerequisites: Ever Blossom Rescue! must be completed. Originally, Twinkle Twinkle (Part 1) was the prerequisite.

Quick Quest Guide

This Quest has 11 steps.

What you will need: 20 Buttercup Petals, 15 Twigs, 20 Pine Needles and 10 Spider Silk (which you will need to purchase 1 Bottle of Buttercup Yellow Dye).

Quick Steps

Go to Iridessa's Glade and ask if she has any quests. Pick Light-Talent Revue.
Earn a score of 10,000 points on Snowflake Sweep, then return to Iridessa.
Gather 20 Buttercup Petals and give them to Dessa.
Earn a score of 15,000 points on Firefly Light-Up, return to Iridessa.
Gather 15 Twigs and give them to Dessa.
Purchase 1 Bottle of Buttercup Yellow Dye from Daisy's Dyes and then return to Iridessa to give it to her.
Gather 20 Pine Needles and give them to Iridessa.
Fly to Fawn's Hideout in Maple Tree Hill and visit with Fawn.
Earn a score of 10,000 points on Harvest Hustle, then return to Fawn.
Head on over to Rosetta's Garden in Cherryblossom Heights and speak to Rosetta.
Return to Fawn's Hideout in Maple Tree Hill to speak to Fawn again.
Return to Iridessa.
Pick your reward and the quest is over.

In Depth Quest Guide

This is a full walk through for the quest, so if you're confused by any of the quick steps, hopefully these can help you out.

Head over to Iridessa's Glade in Sunflower Gully and ask her if she has any quests. If you have finished the quest Ever Blossom Rescue!, the quest should appear in the list of quests you may do and you can begin immediately. Upon starting the quest, Iridessa will greet you:

Iridessa: "Hi, sunshine! Look, I already know there's a big Fairy Tag game going on so if you're here to invite me thank you but I'm really really busy."
"You're not here about that? Oh, sorry! I'm sort of frazzled -- like you can't tell. The Light-Talent Annual Revue is tonight!"
"That's when we light-talents present all the new ways we've learned to use light. Queen Clarion and the Ministers of the Seasons will be there!"
"You wouldn't by any chance want to help me get ready, would you? I would really appreciate it!"

Step 1

Accept this Quest?

Once you agree, Iridessa is thrilled and gives you the first step.

Iridessa: "Shimmerific! Okay, the first invention I'm going to show everybody is super sparkles. Every light-talent can make sparkles, but I figured out how to make better ones!"
"These sparkles are brighter, and they last longer. The secret to making super sparkles is to mix pixie dust with something really cold and something really warm."
"I mix special snowflakes, which are silvery-blue from cold, and Buttercup Petals, which are sunshine yellow from warmth!"
"Will you go get snowflakes by playing Snowflake Sweep?"

Fly to Evergreen Overlook. Earn 10,000 points playing Snowflake Sweep. Return to Iridessa's Glade in Sunflower Gully when you are done!

Fly up to Evergreen Overlook and play Snowflake Sweep. Once you reach a score of 10,000 points (whether in one shot or cumulative), head on back to Iridessa’s.

"Okay, I have plenty of bottled super sparkles for tonight. Next let's prepare my firefly demonstration. I taught them to fly in formation!"
"I need a few things -- some fireflies, first of all. Let's play Firefly Light-Up!"

Fly to Springtime Orchard. Earn 15,000 points playing Firefly Light-Up. Return to Iridessa's Glade in Sunflower Gully when you are done!

Play Firefly Light-Up in Springtime Orchard until you reach a score of 15,000 points (whether in one shot or cumulative). Fly back to Iridessa when you are done.

Step 4

I lit up fireflies for Iridessa!

"Next I need to make a baton. I'll wave it in certain patterns to tell the fireflies what formations to make."
"Can you gather Twigs for me? I'll pick the best one for my baton."

Gather 15 Twigs and bring them to Iridessa's Glade in Sunflower Gully.

Another ingredient collecting task! This time you are searching for Twigs, if you don’t have 15 already. Once you get the required 15 Twigs, return to Iridessa and give them to her.

I have Twigs for Iridessa!

Iridessa: "What a great selection! I'll be able to make a really nice baton from one of these! But no firefly is going to pay attention to just a Twig."
"I need to put my new baton in a glow bath. That way it will be bright enough that the fireflies will pay attention to it."
"It's easy to make a glow bath. Let's say I want something to glow purple. A little purple dye, a pinch of pixie dust, a dash of sunlight, and anything I put in will glow purple!"
"I want my baton to glow yellow, so I need yellow dye. Can you get a bottle of Buttercup Yellow Dye from Daisy's Dyes?"

Fly to Daisy's Dyes in Cherryblossom Heights and get a bottle of Buttercup Yellow Dye. Bring it to Iridessa's Glade in Sunflower Gully when you are done!

Help Iridessa prepare for the Light-Talent Revue by getting a bottle of Buttercup Yellow Dye from Daisy's Dyes!

Now that you've gotten twigs for a baton, you need to buy a bottle of dye. Flit up to Cherryblossom Heights and enter Daisy's Dyes. There, you can buy a Bottle of Buttercup Yellow Dye, which will cost 10 Spider Silk. Once you purchase the bottle, head back to Iridessa to give it to her.

Flap over to Fawn's Hideout in Maple Tree Hill and give Fawn the pine needles.

You also earn 90 Talent Points, as well as unlock the following quest upon completion: Getting In Truffle. Originally, the quest Twinkle Twinkle (Part 2) was unlocked upon completion.
