Finding the Never Unicorn: Part One is a quest you can get from Fawn that was released for the 2013 Camp Pixie Dust event. Upon completion, you will get the following as your reward: Frostbunny Blue Never Unicorn Boots (Fairies) or Crisp White Fake Fur Boots (Sparrow Men).

Prerequisites: Talent Level 3.

Quick Quest Guide

This Quest has 4 steps.

What you will need: 10 Truffles, as well as 50 Spider Silk (which you will need to purchase 1 Dandelion Bed).

Quick Steps

Go to Fawn's Hideout and ask if she has any quests. Pick Finding the Never Unicorn: Part One.
Enter any Wilderness and gather 10 Truffles, then flap back to Fawn.
Fly to Dulcie's Kitchen in Neverberry Thicket and Practice Bake a batch of Honey Cookies. Return to Fawn after you have completed your baking task.
Go to Treetop Housewares in Treetop Bend to purchase one Dandelion Bed and bring this item to Fawn.
Fly to the Fairy Coliseum and compete in 1 Animal Derby race to see if you can spot the Never Unicorn, then flit back to Fawn.
Pick your reward and the quest is over.

In Depth Quest Guide

This is a full walk through for the quest, so if you're confused by any of the quick steps, hopefully these can help you out.

Head over to Fawn's Hideout in Maple Tree Hill and ask her if she has any quests. The quest should appear in the list of quests you may do and you can begin the quest immediately. Upon starting the quest, Fawn will greet you:

Fawn: "Oh heya! Did you hear? I'm so excited! I can't wait to tell you! I saw the NEVER UNICORN!"
"She was beautiful! And the only one in the whole world. I wish she could stay here forever!"
"You've got to see her too! I don't know how I did it. I was just having a normal day doing what I always do…"
"Hey, I got it! Maybe if you do EXACTLY what I did that day, you might see the Never Unicorn too. Want to give it a try?"

Step 1

Accept this Quest?

Once you agree, Fawn is thrilled and gives you the first step.

Fawn: "Paw-some! So let's see… What was the first thing I did that day?"
"Was it dance in the meadow with all my animal friends? No, I was too busy getting ready for camp…"
"That's it! First thing I did was gather Truffles for critter s'mores. They like that extra earthy flavor."
"Fly on over to the Wilderness and get 10 Truffles."

Go to any Wilderness and gather 10 Truffles. Return to Fawn's Hideout in Maple Tree Hill when you're finished.

Story So Far
You want to see the Never Unicorn, just like Fawn did. So you're retracing her wing flaps to see what she did that day. First, gather Truffles!

An ingredient collecting task! Leave Fawn's Hideout and enter any of the given 3 Wilderness areas; you must be at Talent Level 3 in order to enter the Wilderness. You are searching for Truffles, if you don't have 10 already or you can simply trade your ingredients for the Truffles. Once you get the required 10 Truffles, bring them to Fawn. Be sure to have enough baked goods made prior to entering the Wilderness!

Step 2

I gathered 10 Truffles!

Fawn: "Thank you! We can make extra s'mores for the skunks with these!"
"I gathered so many Truffles that day I had extra. So I flew straight to Dulcie's Kitchen, where I baked loads of Honey Maple Double Truffle Cookies!"
"That's what you should do next! Go to Dulcie's Kitchen and practice bake a batch of cookies! Honey Cookies should be fine."

Fly to Dulcie's Kitchen in Neverberry Thicket and practice baking a batch of Honey Cookies! Return to Fawn's Hideout in Maple Tree Hill when you're finished.

You want to see the Never Unicorn, just like Fawn did. So you're retracing her wing flaps to see what she did that day. Fly to Dulcie's Bakery and practice baking a batch of Honey Cookies!

Fly to Dulcie's Kitchen in Neverberry Thicket and choose Practice Baking to make a batch of Honey Cookies. For the recipe to become available for practice baking, you must have reached Talent Level 1. You may choose to complete all three baking steps or just practice one step to fulfill this requirement. Flap back to Fawn's Hideout after you have completed your baking task.

Step 3

I baked Honey Cookies!

Fawn: "Critterific! We are moving right along here."
"Now, after the baking, I ran into a little friend who was tired of sleeping on sticks, so I got her a new bed!"
"Say, that's what you should do next! I got a Dandelion Bed so why don't you do the same!"

Fly to Treetop Housewares in Treetop Bend and purchase a Dandelion Bed. Return to Fawn's Hideout in Maple Tree Hill when you're finished.

Story So Far
You want to see the Never Unicorn, just like Fawn did. So you're retracing her wing flaps to see what she did that day. Purchase a Dandelion Bed at Treetop Housewares.

Time to go shopping! Fly over to Treetop Bend and enter Treetop Housewares. Purchase one Dandelion Bed, which costs 50 Spider Silk or 5 Pixie Diamonds. After you have made your purchase, return to Fawn.

Step 4

I have the Dandelion Bed!

Fawn: "That's exciting! Another little critter will have a nice place to nap, thanks to you!"
"Hmm, okay, there is one last thing I did before I saw the Never Unicorn… Think, Fawn, think!"
"Oh yeah! I was racing Animal Derby! Go race in Animal Derby. Then come back and see me!"

Fly to the Fairy Coliseum and race Animal Derby. Return to Fawn's Hideout in Maple Tree Hill when you're finished.

Story So Far
You want to see the Never Unicorn, just like Fawn did. So you're retracing her wing flaps to see what she did that day. Race Animal Derby in the Fairy Coliseum!

Let's go race! Fly to the Fairy Coliseum and compete in one race to see if the Never Unicorn will appear while you're there. You will need at least one Fairy friend to help you with this task. Enter Animal Derby and complete a race. You may choose any animal and the task will be fulfilled. Then flit back to Fawn.

Your Reward

I raced Animal Derby, but I didn't see a Never Unicorn!

Fawn: "No Never Unicorn?!"
"But you did everything right! It was everything I did the day I saw her."
"Well, since you didn't see the unicorn, I want you to have this…"
"It's a reminder that she's still out there somewhere!"
"Keep an eye out for that magic Never Unicorn. She's bound to show up again sometime. Oh, and have a paw-some time at camp!"

If you are a Fairy, you will receive Frostbunny Blue Never Unicorn Boots as shown below as your reward. Sparrow Men will receive Crisp White Fake Fur Boots as shown below. You will also earn 50 Talent Points from completing the quest, as well as unlock the following quest upon completion: Finding the Never Unicorn: Part Two.
