Club Penguin was created by RocketSnail - a flash game programming company located in Canada.

Several games that they created will seem familiar

  • Ballistic Biscuit (which started in Club Penguin as that name and then later named Hydro-Hopper}
  • Mancala

In January 2001 RocketSnail created a chat program called "Experimental Penguins"

In 2004 this became "Penguin Chat"

In October 2005 it evolved into the full game of Club Penguin
