Using Boot Option

Basic information

Booting is one of the most useful tools in all of VMK. If a player is being rude to you or other players, or you need them out of the room, this option works best. Click a player, and if you are the owner of the room, you'll see the option "Boot" lit up in the lower left hand corner of the players profile. If you are boot from a room you will get a message telling you (right) and you will not be able to enter the room for 5 minutes.

The use of booting in scams

More often than not, "Free stuff" rooms are fake. Once it's your turn in line, the owner will open a trade window with you, and right before giving you an item, close out the trade window and boot you from the room. If this happens, report the room as soon as you can. It's also against the rules to boot people out of rooms after they have "paid" the owner to play a game, enter a room, play a quest, etc. So, if someone asks you to pay one or more items, it's best to just leave the room.
