Summary
We appreciate your contributions to the wiki, CL Haveamagicalday, but please use a summary for each edit of yours. When a summary is used, it is easier for other wiki editors to see what was edited. The summary box is right above where you click to save your edit. Thanks! --Schmoofypage|talk 06:13, 30 August 2007 (CDT)
Oops, excuse me. I see your edits and summaries, but they look much different from the others. Try to just use words, no symbols or such. --Schmoofypage|talk 06:14, 30 August 2007 (CDT)
I did notice this, thanks to Priz! He told me I didn't need the "/" and "*" that was already there. I now know not to do that, and just replace that with the actual typing. -> CL_Haveamagicalday
Furniture Checklist
Should Posters really be in this section? In VMK it has it's own section, not in the furnish. --CL_Haveamagicalday
Yes, because there are two categories, Pins and Furniture. Posters are also furniture because you can place them in your room, while you can't with pins. --Xiaolin 18:59, 6 September 2007 (CDT)
Ok, but it's not always to find posters, if you wanted to use the checklist... but i can see what your getting at. --CL_Haveamagicalday
It can happen, as Prisoner.. --Xiaolin 21:05, 6 September 2007 (CDT)
What can happen as Prisoner? huh? --Prisoner 06:25, 7 September 2007 (CDT)
Clothing Checklist
We need to get cracking on this! :) --Xiaolin 14:39, 7 September 2007 (CDT)
Could you make the list, I'm about to do the easy ones lol. --CL_Haveamagicalday
The list is now added. --Xiaolin 06:54, 8 September 2007 (CDT)
More important than linking all the items is to finish getting all the items into the system. We're still missing lots of shirts, and I don't think anyone has even looked at the pants. --Prisoner 08:56, 8 September 2007 (CDT)
Which pants? Also me and Scootz are actually gonna start on the Shirts in a few minutes. :) --Xiaolin 08:59, 8 September 2007 (CDT)
"Credit"
Please remember that we do not give credit to editors of the wiki. SpinMarty is one of our editors and therefore does not need to be given credit anywhere. I have deleted all of the "credits" you gave him that I could find. The "History" page as well as "File History" for images gives sufficient information as to which editor did what. Even editors who contributed as a non-editor do not get credit for things submitted in their pre-editing days. If somebody is on our staff list, they shouldn't be given "credit" on any of the pages. Thanks--UpInTheAir 02:23, 13 September 2007 (CDT)
Oh, ok thanks! I thought you had to give credit, to show it wasn't your picture. Thanks UpInTheAir, sorry for all the mess I made, and what you had to do to fix it. --CL_Haveamagicalday
Sale Prices
Do we really need to put sale prices on ALL existing items? --Scootz 08:25, 16 September 2007 (CDT) (Talk | contribs)
Well, I talked to Prisoner about it, and he said we don't need to rush into it, but it would be nice. I asked this on Talk:Checklist. Basically, if we have time or if we're editing the page, we can. But, I'm not in a big rush to get this done, like priz said. I'm working at it slowly. --CL_Haveamagicalday
Yup, this is what I said. But let me be a little more clear:
- Don't add it unless you're editing the page for some other reason. (Don't really need to see a list of a bunch of items whose only change was "+sale price")
- The items you can't purchase are probably the more important ones.
- Actually validate the sale price. Don't go by the usual (price divided by 5) or assume. Make sure you've checked it.
--Prisoner 08:49, 16 September 2007 (CDT)
ok thx priz, i did check these before, so i know they sell for 5 --CL_Haveamagicalday
Secret Code on cards?
Why are we marking the cards with Secret Code? You don't use a card to get a code - and all cards have codes. --Prisoner 18:57, 16 September 2007 (CDT)
Well, it was on some of them before I even started putting them on. Also, yes, I know they all give out Secret Codes but, the cards give them. I was just adding on to the notes, saying the card gave a Secret Code. If you wish, I can remove them all, I just saw them on some of them before, and thought I should add them on, while I was looking to add links as well to the notes, and to add notes. Sorry about that prize. --CL_Haveamagicalday
Not a problem. Just remove them as you get around to it while doing other edits. Looking good! See 50th Celebration Director's Chair for an example, btw of how the item table should be on the page (with a section header, and inside the <noinclude> block. --Prisoner 21:15, 16 September 2007 (CDT)
CL_ in usernames on wiki
Thats a good question, and one that the sysops will have to discuss. In general, I would say "yes"... but I'm not sure we have that kind of control over account names. Thanks for raising the issue. --Prisoner 15:08, 1 October 2007 (CDT)
retiring quests
while you're retiring the quests - how about also changing the cards to use the card page includes? {: --Prisoner 16:38, 9 October 2007 (CDT)
As I later found out, that the card I put it as non-retired, was actually retired, so I fixed it. It was series one of the same card there is two of the exact same looking cards, except fort the series. I should have put the prize, like I have been doing, but totally forgot about that, thanks for the reminder :). --CL_Haveamagicalday
I'm confused what you mean by "should have put the prize". Part of why we're moving to include the cards instead of listing them the way we have been is because each card references the prize, so we don't need to list the prize sepraately. --Prisoner 05:08, 10 October 2007 (CDT)
I'm not quite getting what you said either. You gave an example of what you wanted in the in-park cards. You wanted what the code gives you. That's what I meant by "should have put the prize". I'm still a little confused on what you meant if your last message, sorry. --CL_Haveamagicalday
Shopping
I just wanted to say, really nice job on the Shopping page. :) --Scootz 10:27, 13 October 2007 (CDT) (Talk | contribs)
Thank you, if somebody has any pics, it would be nice to put them on :). --CL_Haveamagicalday
Clothing with the Same Name
When there are multiple pieces of clothing, please put the color (and gender if necessary) in parenthesis --Scootz 06:33, 1 November 2007 (CDT) (Talk | contribs)
Ah yes, I forgot about the Male Only and Female Only sorry. --CL_Haveamagicaday
boxes
Are you still seeing it on the Shirt with Pin Lanyard page? It could have been that you were seeing a cached version, and once you made the changes you were making to the page it "did the right thing". --Prisoner 09:27, 3 November 2007 (CDT)
I kept seeing them until today, thanks for fixing it. --CL_Haveamagicalday
Uploaded Photo Name
I actually uploaded the image with that name on purpose. That is the name that VMK named the photo for its inclusion in the Event Info section of the newsletter. I actually didn't see any harm with naming it this as it included both the actual item name (RoyalSkyFlat1) and the section of the newsletter (EventInfo-2007-11-05). I know this has been done with items in the past. The image is still searchable using parts of it's name. This is just my take on in (note I did the Tiara the same way), let me know if you still have issues with it.--UpInTheAir 19:04, 6 November 2007 (CST)
Ah, ok, I get it. But, I thought we should make the names exactly as it is on the item. Because, I was making a template for it, and it wasn't working, because I was using the actual name of it. So I think it should be the actual name, but that's my opinion. I understand why you did it like that, that's why I didn't change it. --CL_Haveamagicalday
InfoDrop
The page is intended to be a bin of information, such as some info on the Goliath battle. We currently don't have a page for the Goliath battle, and creating one saying "this is the ship that you battle for the Black Pearl" would just be a waste right now. It'll probably be seldom used, but is a good spot to mess with information right now. Consider it a secondary sandbox for the potco side. --Schmoofypage|talk 13:26, 12 November 2007 (CST)
So you mean, for pages we don't have enough information yet? --CL_Haveamagicalday
Weapon Unlock:Grenade
Hey HAMD. I would like to let you know that I do have my Grenade now and all of the pictures of the quest objectives. I need to crop them and then upload them to the wiki. Once they are uploaded, they will be put into the infodrop. From there, I don't know where you would like them or how you are currently formatting the quests available. --Schmoofypage|talk 22:01, 15 November 2007 (CST)
Well, in the infodrop, if they tab off, could you show that they tab off,
For Example:
Story Chapter:The Black Pearl Quest is the main quest, but The List Quest, tabs off from that, and then one of the people appear tabbed under that.
If you could tell me that, that would be great since I'm putting that in the notes section :)
I can put them in the templates no problem :) --CL_Haveamagicalday
Talk Pages?
Why are you deleting parts of talk pages? --Scootz 19:15, 27 November 2007 (CST) (Talk | contribs)
Well, Up and I have been talking, I'm only taking out certain ones. --CL_Haveamagicalday
Item Colors
Why are you merging all the color columns? That's only for items that have 'Color' in the name... --Scootz 18:32, 1 December 2007 (CST) (Talk | contribs)
Well, if it has the color already in the name, there's no need for the color to be in there. But, now that I think about it, vmk has been changing the names of the items that have a color, they've been putting them in the name of the item. So, shouldn't we change the template, to get rid of the color section, since there's not need for it now? Also, I changed them to put the color in it, because it's using the correct name of the item. I'll change it back until the rest of the editors have discussed this more. --CL_Haveamagicalday
I'm talking about items that don't have 'Color' in the name. They still use the color column. --Scootz 18:38, 1 December 2007 (CST) (Talk | contribs)
I know what you meant. I'm saying, in the actual item itself it has the color in the name on VMK, so why don't we have it say that under the name section? --CL_Haveamagicalday
Rumors
Should we really put rumors on the wiki (I'm referrting to your edits to Tank Top (Green))? --Scootz 21:55, 3 December 2007 (CST) (Talk | contribs)
I've removed the rumors. Please keep rumors to the Myths and Rumors page only, thanks! --UpInTheAir 03:47, 4 December 2007 (CST)
That was actually true. I've seen the light green staff shirt on a regular vmk player. It wasn't the one you can buy. But sorry about the rumor I put in their about there only being 3, that part is the rumor. I don't have a pic to back it up though. --CL_Haveamaicalday
(Template) on quest pages?
Why are there some quest pages with (Template) on the end? --Scootz 15:14, 4 December 2007 (CST) (Talk | contribs)
Because, they are the ones with people's names from The List. You need a page for the person's name, a quest page like Hendry Cutts Quest, and then a page for the quest itself, so i put (Template) in I'm up for other ideas. --CL_Haveamagicalday
(Template) doesn't sound the best... what does it have to do with quests? --Scootz 15:39, 4 December 2007 (CST) (Talk | contribs)
I know it doesn't sound good but there's not many other choices. Like I said, if anybody can think of a better name, I'd be happy to change it, and there's only 3 or 4 of them like that. --CL_Haveamagicalday
Item Images
please follow my suggestions on the page we have been talking on in regards to old/new photos and their names. thanks --SpinMarty 15:23, 30 December 2007 (CST)
I did, and I made a reply :) --Haveamagicalday
external links
We are fine with links to the DIsney site so no problem there. --SpinMarty 21:06, 6 January 2008 (CST)
Thought so, but always good to make sure :) --Haveamagicalday 18:19, 7 January 2008 (CST)
sells for
I own all of those items I just added the sellsfor/cannotbesold tags to. So, no, no formula involved. --SpinMarty 11:18, 12 January 2008 (CST)
Ok, like I said I just wanted to make sure, because they were going with the forumula, some don't, it's always good to make sure. I've never owned these beta items lol. A fair amount of ppl don't have them either, I didn't know you did lol.. --Haveamagicalday 11:19, 12 January 2008 (CST)
When it comes to putting correct information on the wiki I don't like to speculate. Facts only. And yes, I own many things that are a part of my VMK Museum :) --SpinMarty 11:23, 12 January 2008 (CST)
I didn't think you would do that, but like I said, it fit with the formula, which most people think are 100% true, and not many people have that many beta items. Like I said, I wasn't sure, and I wasn't accusing you either way rofl. --Haveamagicalday 11:26, 12 January 2008 (CST)
sig template
Now, if you haven't already done so, click "my preferences" above (top of screen). On the "User Profile" tab find the box "Nickname". In that box type {{subst:User:HAMD/sig}} Then, make sure that the "Raw Signatures" box is checked.
Now, when you check the button you will get your Sig and Timestamp. Also, feel free to change the background and border color as well so we don't match :) -- SpinMarty 23:50, 14 January 2008 (CST)
User vs. Template namespace?
Like I posted here, for the sigs, are you supposed to use Template: or User:? The User: makes a sub-directory or userpage (I'm asking, not correcting). -- Scootz 20:06, 15 January 2008 (CST)
Well, if you look back on that page, you see that spin gave a good answer to this, there's not really a "wrong" way, but I think using the template form is easier. For instance, if you wanted to use just a pic of your signature, you could use the template, instead of finding your sig, copying the stuff, and pasting it. As I'm putting my reply, I see you copied and pasted it, and that took a lot of space. But I'd read Spin's reply. We've been talking about that too, on what way to do it, and I brought it out to a thread, and spin added to it :). --Haveamagicalday (Talk | Contributions) 20:51, 15 January 2008 (CST)
Actually, I did the sig button method on the section above this. But thank you for clarifying. -- Scootz 20:55, 15 January 2008 (CST)
Template:Punknown?
What is the point of this template? It looks exactly like Template:Unknown. -- Scootz 23:38, 21 January 2008 (CST)
The point is, that I made a page for POTCO unknowns, so when I'm, or other editors, are trying to find what's unknown, for just POTCO, ppl don't have to search the enter unknown page, to find POTCO unknowns. --Haveamagicalday (Talk | Contributions) 18:08, 22 January 2008 (CST)
Still seems pretty redundant to me. -- Scootz 21:26, 22 January 2008 (CST)
Not if you're working on one part of the wiki, and want to find what needs to be done. If we get new editors, for example, for POTCO, and they don't play VMK< Toown Town, or Club Penguin, they may not know which is which, or will have to look through many to find what they're looking for. --Haveamagicalday (Talk | Contributions) 19:01, 23 January 2008 (CST)
CP templates/categories
I seem to have confused both of us. You created a category "Club Penguin Pins" so that a list could be generated. I am suggesting that you also create a category "Club Penguin Items". Also, a template of 'free' would be good for the cost section since many items are free (so I am discovering.) I hope that made more sense. Thank you -- SpinMarty 22:58, 23 January 2008 (CST)
Item Rotations
I had been uploading the "in-use" images with the item rotations (where applicable) for the most part, if you don't mind adding these to the pages at the same time, that would be great. Went back over the pages you already edited and added the ones I could. Not sure if I missed any. For most I added a separate "In-Use" section, but for the lit Candy Music Tiles, I just made labeled the gallery "Lit" as this isn't really indicative of the item "In-Use", but rather a bug.--UpInTheAir 16:55, 16 June 2008 (PDT)
Ok :)! When I did try to do them, some weren't uploaded yet, so I didn't put them in, I can create another list if I find them again, on your talk :). --Haveamagicalday (Talk | Contributions) 05:31, 17 June 2008 (PDT)
Images
Blue surprise gift, all rotations while closed look the same, but the item does rotate 4 directions as can be seen when opened. The image uploaded is the only one I have.
--UpInTheAir 13:55, 17 June 2008 (PDT)
Ok :), just making sure, you never know :)! Ah, they were caped (JPG), thanks :)!
Had gotten the Coffin Teleporter Open and Closed pics flipped for rotation D. Corrected this. If you could add the open images to the page as well, that would be great.--UpInTheAir 14:00, 17 June 2008 (PDT)
OK, I will thanks :)! --Haveamagicalday (Talk | Contributions) 14:01, 17 June 2008 (PDT)

ALR Mushroom Glow
Noticed you added the ALR Mushroom Glow to the lit/unlit list. I actually tried clicking this one for a while and never got it to do anything. Also, we don't have it noted as being a "light up" item. I tend to think that it doesn't light up, but let me know if you have some more information. Only note with lit scoreboards would be maybe put the corresponding lit images together. So pair up the 1 lits and the 2 lits...etc.--UpInTheAir 16:18, 20 June 2008 (PDT)
Sorry, I didn't even thought I had that in that list, only in rotations, sorry about that (I guess the glow part got me lol).
Ok, I'll pair up the ones with the ones, and so on :), thanks :)! --Haveamagicalday (Talk | Contributions) 16:21, 20 June 2008 (PDT)
More images to add
Thanks for the images Up! Also, thanks for the links to their pages :)! --Haveamagicalday (Talk | Contributions) 14:31, 23 August 2008 (PDT)
Quest Format
Check out Quest Test. Started discussion on that page.
Petal Pick-Up
Well, I played petal pick-up more times than I ever wanted to, and it seems to me the # of petals required in the level is always the same with the only thing that changes being the petal type. If this is the case, the table on the Petal Pick-Up game page can be changed to say x Petals and x Petal Type 1 or something. The images can still be an example of the gameplay objectives. If you could confirm that the # of petals doesn't change, that would be great. I know the times I played, I needed to get the same number. However, I wasn't paying close attention to the levels where I needed to collect several petals types. Regardless, for the ones that stay the same the table can be changed to a more general objective and any ones that vary can be labeled as being variable. Let me know if further elaboration is required. Thanks. --UpInTheAir 15:31, 11 November 2008 (PST)
I've played that game too many times as well 51 levels is too many levels LOL. I'll try to confirm what you were saying :). The table, at this moment, makes sense to me. When I'm able to confirm it, I'll add back the table and make adjustments to it when needed :-). Thanks for letting me know! --Haveamagicalday (Talk | Contributions) 17:04, 11 November 2008 (PST)
Each time I seem to play it, the same kind of petals are needed, but the amount varies. So, should I get rid of the table and just leave the pictures and state that they amount of each flower may vary? Thanks! --Haveamagicalday (Talk | Contributions) 10:52, 12 December 2008 (PST)
