Treasure

Pirates and treasure go together like ships and leaks –– can't have one without the other. You'll find a Treasure Panel in your –– this will help you keep track of all the trinkets you have collected during your adventures. This includes gold and cheat cards as well as treasure.

All your worldly wealth lies here -- the gold you won by cheating, jewels you've found, those Navy Medals you fought for-- basically, anything you've discovered that has any worth. This includes cheat cards you may have earned through special Quests -- you might want to use those in your next card game to tilt the odds a bit.

Opening/Closing Your Treasure Menu

To open your treasure menu, there are two ways:

POTCO Bullet You can open up your Sea Chest, then click on the Treasure Icon, Treasure Icon.
POTCO Bullet You can also click the "U" button on your keyboard.

You do the same things to close your Treasure Menu.

Buried Treasure

Some may find some treasure buried. You can find a buried treasure by accident, or a townsperson may tell you where to look. There are chests of riches hidden all over the Caribbean, so keep an eye out for green circles on the ground. If you see one, start digging!

Game Tip Game Tip: You're vulnerable to attack while you dig for buried treasure, so stay alert.

Treasure Collections

As you advance through Pirates of the Caribbean Online, you will encounter special Quests giving you the ability to pursue unique Treasure Collections. To complete each collection, you'll need to find a series of elusive items –– often held by deadly foes.

Understanding The Treasure Menu

Gold

You can see how much gold you currently have by looking in the upper left corner of the screen. It has a gold coin, Gold Coin, next to your amount.

Cards

You can see how many cards you currently have by looking the upper right corner of the screen. It has a card symbol, Card Symbol, next to your amount.
