Quick Quest Guide
This Quest has 10 steps.What you will need: 10 Pine Needles, 20 Snowflakes, and 10 pieces of Spider Silk
Quick Steps
- Go to Tinker's Nook and ask if she has any quests. Pick Tink's Wind Widget.
- Gather up 10 Pine Needles for Tinker Bell and return them to her.
- Gather up 20 Snowflakes and give them to Tink.
- Head on over to Silvermist's Grotto in Dewdrop Vale to talk to Silvermist.
- Return to Tink.
- Go to Fawn's Hideout in Maple Tree Hill to visit Fawn.
- Give Tink the Woodpecker Feather from Fawn.
- Gather up 10 pieces of Spider Silk and give them to Tink.
- Go talk to Silvermist again.
- Earn a score of 5,000 on Water Web, then return to Tink.
- Earn a score of 10,000 on Firefly Light-Up and return to Tink.
- Pick your reward and the quest is over.
In Depth Quest Guide
This is a full walk through for the quest, so if you're confused by any of the quick steps, hopefully these can help you out.
Head over to Tinker's Nook in Cottonpuff Field and ask her if she has any quests. If you have finished the quest, Feeding Flappy, the quest should appear in the list of quests you may do. Upon starting the quest, Tink will greet you:
Tinker Bell: "Is that you, Fairyname here?"
"Oh good! I could use your help."
"Vidia came and asked me to build something. That's right -- I said Vidia. She's a fast-flying Fairy. But you knew that, right?"
"Well, she wants me to make a wind gust measuring gadget...thingy. I guess the Minister of Autumn wants to know how strong the winds will blow on the mainland next year."
"I was thinking of building a special kite to measure the wind gusts, but I'll need a lot of building materials."
"This project sounds important and I sure could use another pair of wings. Think you can help me out?"
Step 1
Accept this Quest?Once you agree, Tink is thrilled and gives you the next step.
Tinker Bell: "You mean it? You'll help me? That's great!"
"Okay, the first thing I need is a lot of Pine Needles!"
Gather 10 Pine Needles and bring them to Tinker's Nook in Cottonpuff Field.

Story So Far
Tinker Bell needs to build a wind-gust-measuring gadget -- for Vidia! You're offered to help her out, so she wants you gather the building supplies. First, find some Pine Needles.
You need to collect some ingredients. Go search for 10 Pine Needles. If you have 10 Pine Needles already you don't have to leave, you can just give them to her and then the next step will begin.
Step 2
I’m bringing Pine Needles to Tinker Bell!Tinker Bell: "You did it! Great! I'll use these Pine Needles to make the frame for the kite."
"Next I'll need a bunch of Snowflakes. I'll use those instead of cloth on the kite."
"You can find lots of Snowflakes in Snowcap Glade. Be careful -- Winter Woods is a strange place sometimes."
Gather 20 Snowflakes and bring them to Tinker's Nook in Cottonpuff Field.

Story So Far
Vidia needs Tinker Bell to build a wind-gust-measuring widget. You're already gathered Pine Needles that Tink will use to make a kite frame. Now she needs you to find lots of Snowflakes to cover the kite with instead of cloth.
Another ingredient collection task! It's time to gather up some Snowflakes now, if you don't have 20 already. Once you get the required 20 Snowflakes, return to Tinker Bell and give them to her.
Step 3
I found all the Snowflakes.Tinker Bell: "Great!"
"Now the last thing I need is a special kind of Lost Thing. I'm sure you've seen one..."
"...it has numbers on it, and it makes a kind of tick-tock sound. And it seems to measure stuff. I'm going to change it around so it measures wind!"
"Go see Silvermist. I think she found one of those thingies not long ago over near Havendish Stream. I just hope she still has it."
Fly to Silvermist's Grotto! You can get there from Dewdrop Vale.
Story So Far
Tinker Bell has almost all the materials she needs to make Vidia's wind-gust-measuring widget. See if Silvermist has the last piece -- a special Lost Thing that has numbers and makes a tick-tock sound.
Head over to Silvermist's Grotto in Dewdrop Vale and ask Silvermist about a Lost Thing.
Step 4
I need to see Silvermist!Silvermist: "Don't tell me -- you want that Lost Thing I found over by Havendish Stream, right?"
"Tinker Bell has been talking about it ever since I found it. I knew she'd figure out a way to use it sooner or later."
"Here you go. I'm sure she'll make something wonderful out of it."
Fly to Tinker's Nook! You can get there from Cottonpuff Field.
Story So Far
Tinker Bell has almost all the materials she needs to make Vidia's wind-gust-measuring widget. Silvermist just gave you the last piece -- a Lost Thing that makes a tick-tock sound. Deliver it to Tink as soon as possible!
Go back to Tinker's Nook and deliver the Lost Thing to Tink.
Step 5
I’m bringing the Lost Thing to Tinker Bell.Tinker Bell: "Wow, she gave it to you just like that? Silvermist is so sweet!"
"Okay, I need to mess around with the insides of this Lost Thing just a little..."
"..switch that over there..."
"...replace that with this..."
"Hmm. I need a feather. It can't be too long or too short. It's gotta be just right."
"Can you see if Fawn has a feather I could use?"
Fly to Fawn's Hideout! You can get there from Maple Tree Hill.
Story So Far
Vidia needs Tinker Bell to build a wind-gust-measuring widget. Thanks to your help, Tink now has all the materials. However, now she needs a special tool -- a feather! Ask Fawn if she can help out.
Flap over to Fawn's Hideout in Maple Tree Hill and ask Fawn about a feather.
Step 6
I need to see Fawn!Fawn: "Don't tell me -- you're helping Tink with a project!"
"She needs a feather, huh?"
"Not too short, not too long? How about a woodpecker feather?"
"This one here should be just right. Hurry back to her!"
Fly to Tinker's Nook! You can get there from Cottonpuff Field.
Story So Far
Tinker Bell is working on a wind-gust-measuring gadget for Vidia. It requires a special Lost Thing, but she needs a special tool to use it. Take the woodpecker feather from Fawn to Tink and see if that will work.
Go back to Tinker's Nook and deliver the feather to Tink.
Step 7
I have Fawn’s feather for Tinker Bell!Tinker Bell: "What a perfect feather! Thank you, Fairyname Here! And Fawn, too!"
"I just need to attach the feather to the...uh-oh."
"I need some Spider Silk. It has to be the kind that sticks even in cold weather."
"Will you fly out and get me some Spider Silk?"
Gather 10 pieces of Spider Silk and bring them to Tinker's Nook in Cottonpuff Field.

Tinker Bell is building a wind-gust-measuring gadget for Vidia. She started tinkering with a special Lost Thing, but it sounds like something broke. Tink needs you to gather Spider Silk so she can make repairs.
It's time to gather up some Spider Silk now, if you don't have 10 already. Once you get the required 10 Spider Silk, return to Tinker Bell and give them to her

I have Spider Silk for Tinker Bell.Tinker Bell: "Great! It's about time!"
"There! Now this Lost Thingy has a stick with a feather wrapped to it that twirls with the wind and makes that little round part move so that..."
"Sorry. Let's just say it'll measure how fast the autumn wind is blowing."
"Hmm. This spinning part seems to be a little dirty. It's not spinning quite right..."
"I need something to clean it off."
"I know! Dewdrops! Fairyname Here, can you get some dewdrops from Silvermist?"
Fly to Silvermist's Grotto! You can get there from Dewdrop Vale.
Story So Far
With your help, Tinker Bell is almost finished with the wind-gust-measuring gadget for Vidia. The kite is complete, but Tink need something to clean the Lost Thing she's using. Visit Silvermist and see if she has any dewdrops that will help.
Fly back over to Silvermist's Grotto in Dewdrop Vale and ask Silvermist about dewdrops.
Step 9
I’m here to see Silvermist again!Silvermist: "Back again, little sprinkle? What does Tink need this time?"
"Oh, getting dewdrops is easy! We'll get them from spider webs."
"Go to Neverberry Thicket and find Spider Silk Grotto. I'll meet you there. We'll get all the dewdrops Tink could ever want!"
Fly to Neverberry Thicket. Earn 5,000 points playing Water Web in Spider Silk Grotto. Return to Tinker's Nook in Cottonpuff Field when you are done!

Story So Far
Tinker Bell is building a wind-gust-measuring kite for Vidia, but she needs dewdrops to clean up the Lost Thing she's using as part of the kite. Meet Silvermist in Spider Silk Grotto to collect dewdrops from spider webs.
Head out to play Water Web in Neverberry Thicket. Once you hit a score of 5,000 points, whether in one shot or cumulative, return to Tinker Bell in Cottonpuff Field.
Step 10
Ok, here are the dewdrops.Tinker Bell: "Great work!"
"Now I'll just use a drop here to clean this off...a drop there to clean off that gunk..."
"There we go! Now it spins perfectly!"
"Now when the kite gets to Autumn Forest it will lift this Lost Thing up in the air where this spinny part will measure the wind!"
"Oh, wait a minute -- if the kite is up in the wind, it will be awfully hard to see. I know! I'll use a firefly!"
"Can you go ask Iridessa for help? She's lighting fireflies right now in Twilight Glen. You can get there from Springtime Orchard."
Fly to Springtime Orchard. Earn 10,000 points playing Firefly Light-Up in Twilight Glen. Return to Tinker's Nook in Cottonpuff Field when you are done!

Story So Far
With your help, Tinker Bell is almost finished making the wind-gust-measuring gadget for Vidia. The only piece missing is a lit-up firefly to act as a beacon when the kite is high in the sky. Head to Springtime Orchard and then enter Twilight Glen. Iridessa will be there to help you light fireflies.
Fly to Springtime Orchard to play Firefly Light-Up until you earn 10,000 points (whether in one shot or cumulative), then return to Tink.

"Well, I'm all ready to test my invention. I couldn't have made it without you, Fairyname Here."

You'll receive a Wind Chime Bark Brown as shown below. You also unlock the following quests upon completion: Tea Time For Tink.
