Quick Steps

In Depth Quest Guide

This is a full walk through for the quest, so if you're confused by any of the quick steps, hopefully these can help you out.

Head over to Silvermist's Grotto in Dewdrop Vale and ask her if she has any quests. If you have finished the quest The Color of Northern Lights, the quest should appear in the list of quests you may do and you'll be able to begin immediately. Upon starting the quest, Silvermist will greet you:

Silvermist: "Raindrop, I’m so glad you’re here. I know you’ve helped Iridessa and Rosetta with their Northern Lights jobs. Do you think you can help me, too?"

Step 1

Accept this Quest?

Once you agree, Sil is thrilled and gives you the first step.

Silvermist: "Splashtacular! Now, we water-talents are in charge of making sure the Northern Lights form interesting shapes."
"The shapes are all inspired by water -- waves, ripples, bubbles -- so we need to collect water that comes in those forms."
"Then when the fast-flying-talents sprinkle the water through the Northern Lights, the Northern Lights will magically take those forms!"
"The first shape is the easiest -- nice and round. What kind of water is round? Dewdrops, of course! Let’s go get some in Spider Silk Grotto!"

Fly to Neverberry Thicket. Earn 6,000 points playing Water Web in Spider Silk Grotto. Return to Silvermist's Grotto in Dewdrop Vale when you are done!

Step 2

I collected dewdrops with Silvermist!

Silvermist: "Great job! Let me put these dewdrops in a bowl."
"The next shape we need are ripples. Can you figure out where we might find ripple water?"
"That’s right -- at Soapstone Stream! When we bounce fish bubbles there, we make ripples! Let’s go!"

Fly to Dewdrop Vale. Earn 6,000 points playing Bubble Bounce in Soapstone Stream. Return to Silvermist's Grotto in Dewdrop Vale when you are done!

Step 3

I got ripply water for Silvermist!

Silvermist: "Splashtacular! Oh, but I used my last bowl to hold the dewdrops. What can we put the ripply water in?"
"I’ll stay here and hold the water if you can hurry to Copper’s Tinkering Nook and make a Clay Pot. We can use that."

Fly to Copper's Tinkering Nook in Maple Tree Hill. Use Personal Tinkering to make a Clay Pot with your choice of any dye color. Fly to Silvermist's Grotto in Dewdrop Vale and give it to Silvermist when you are done!

Step 4

I made a Clay Pot for Silvermist!

Silvermist: "Good, you’re back! Here, let me take that Clay Pot."
"I’ll just pour the ripply water into it... Whew! That was close!"
"Now it’s time to find water that has interesting angles in it. Oh yes, there IS water with angles -- frozen Snowflakes!"
"Will you go out and gather Snowflakes?"
