Teary Trouble is a quest you can get from Silvermist. Upon completion, you will receive Triple Bubble Necklace Summer Green.

Prerequisites: Soapstone Overflow must be completed.

Quick Quest Guide

This Quest has 9 steps.

What you will need: 15 Dandelion Fluff, 20 Spider Silk, 33 Blueberries (to buy 1 Bottle of Candy Blue Dye), and 5 Meadow Grass.

Quick Steps

Go to Silvermist's Grotto and ask if she has any quests. Pick Teary Trouble.
Head over to Tinker's Nook to see Tinker Bell and ask if she has any leafkerchiefs.
Gather up 15 Dandelion Fluff and bring them to Tinker Bell.
Go play Petal Pick-up in Cherryblossom Heights until you earn a score of 2,000. Then return to Tinker Bell.
Go gather up 20 Spider Silk and bring them to Tinker Bell.
Go to Silvermist's Grotto and see if Silvermist is doing okay.
Head back to Tinker's Nook and check in with Tinker Bell.
Gather up 33 Blueberries to buy a Bottle of Candy Blue Dye and then bring it back to Tink.
Gather up 5 Meadow Grass and bring them to Tinker Bell.
Head to Silvermist's Grotto to give her the petalkerchiefs.
Pick your reward and the quest is over.

In Depth Quest Guide

This is a full walk through for the quest, so if you're confused by any of the quick steps, hopefully these can help you out.

Head over to Silvermist's Grotto in Dewdrop Vale and ask her if she has any quests. The quest should pop up immediately and you'll be able to begin. Upon starting the quest, Silvermist will greet you:

Silvermist: "Fly with you, Fairyname Here! *SOB!* Oh, don't mind me, I'm just *SNIFFLE* a little teary. The sparkles on the stream are so *SNIFF* pretty this time of year -- it always makes me *SOB* cry!" We *SOB* water-talents cry a lot. It's just *SNIFF* the way we are, right? And you have to admit *SNIFFLE* the sparkles are pretty..." "Uh-oh *SNIFF* I'm out of leafkerchiefs! Can you *SNIFF* ask Tinker Bell if she has any more?"

Step 1

Silvermist: "Thanks. I'd fly to her myself *SNIFF* but I can't see very well with my eyes all teary." "Hurry if you can. *SNIFF* My nose is getting stuffed up!"

Ask Tinker Bell if she has any leafkerchiefs.

Story So Far

Silvermist is stuck in a water-talent sob fest, has the sniffles and she just can't stop crying! She's asked you to visit Tinker Bell to see if she has any more leafkerchiefs.

So, once you're finished talking to Silvermist, head on over to Tinker's Nook in Cottonpuff Field and talk to Tinker Bell.

Step 2

Tinker Bell: "As Clank would say, heydee-hi heydee-ho, Miss Fairyname Here! What brings you to Tinker's Nook?" "Silvermist needs leafkerchiefs AGAIN? I worked with the sewing-talents before and we made a whole bunch of super-strong Leafkerchiefs for her. They seemed to really work." "Well, I guess it's just time to make more!" "Let's get all the materials together first. Can you gather some Dandelion Fluff to get things started? A little bit of Dandelion Fluff can soak up a lot of tears."

Collect 15 Dandelion Fluff and bring them to Tinker Bell. Progress: # of 15

Story So Far

Silvermist is stuck in a water-talent sob fest, has the sniffles and she just can't stop crying! She needs more leafkerchiefs to soak up all her tears. Help Tinker Bell gather all the necessary ingredients to make more leafkerchiefs.

Now it's time to gather up some Dandelion Fluff if you don't have 15 already. Once you get the 15 Dandelion Fluff needed, head on back to Tinker Bell and talk to her.

Step 3

Tinker Bell: "Right! I was going to use regular old Ivy for the leafkerchiefs, but I'm thinking maybe we should use Cherryblossom Petals instead. Cherryblossom Petals are really strong, and they smell great, too!" "I guess that means we'll need to call these "petalkerchiefs", right?" "You can get lots of petals by helping Rosetta up in Whispering Winds, just through Cherry Blossom Heights. I'll stay here and get the Dandelion Fluff ready."

Fly to Whispering Winds in Cherry Blossom Heights and earn 2,000 points playing Petal Pick-Up. Return to Tinker Bell in Tinker's Nook when you are done! Progress: # of 2000

Now it's time to head over to Cherry Blossom Heights and play Petal Pick-up until you get a score of 2,000. Once you're done, go back and see Tinker Bell again.

Step 4

Tinker Bell: "Perfect!" "Now we need a little Spider Silk. The sewing-talents will stitch the petalkerchiefs together for us, and they'll use the Spider Silk for thread."

Find 20 Spider Silk and bring them to Tinker Bell. Progress: # of 20

Story So Far

Silvermist is stuck in a water-talent sob fest, has the sniffles and now she's run out of leafkerchiefs. Tinker Bell is going to make her some special new "petalkerchiefs" to help soak up all her tears. All Tink needs now is Spider Silk to stitch the petalkerchiefs together.

Now it's time to gather up some Spider Silk, if you don't have 20 already. Once you get the 20 Spider Silk needed, head on back to Tinker Bell and talk to her.

Step 5

Tinker Bell: "Oh, this Spider Silk is so thin, it's perfect! Thick Spider Silk doesn't work for delicate things like leafkerchiefs -- I mean, petalkerchiefs!" "I think that's everything! Maybe you should check on Silvermist and make sure she's okay." "Here's my very last regular old leafkerchief -- you know, to tide her over." "Hey, TIDE her over! That's water-talent humor, right?" "While you're gone, I'll bring all the materials for the new petalkerchiefs to the sewing-talents!"

Visit Silvermist and see how she's doing.

TIDE! HA! Dat's wader-talent humor. *HONK!!* Ahh, dat's bedder. But I'b afraid I'b going to need *SNIFFLE* more dan just one!" "Whad? You and Tink have a *SOB* surprise for be? *HONK!* Dat's so sweed! Bud oh dear, it's just making be cry *SOB* harder!!" "Okay. I'll be here waiding."

Check in with Tinker Bell and see how the petalkerchiefs are coming.

Step 7

Tinker Bell: "Wow, it sounds like Sil really needs those petalkerchiefs. Hey, do you know what she'd really like? Let's make the petalkerchiefs blue!" "Can you pick up a bottle of Candy Blue dye? Prism's Paints should have some."

Get a bottle of Candy Blue dye and bring it to Tinker Bell. Progress: # of 1

Story So Far

Silvermist is stuck in a water-talent sob fest, and she's run out of leafkerchiefs. Tinker Bell has given her the least leafkerchief -- but the sewing-talents are making some brand new "petalkerchiefs" for her! They just need a bottle of Candy Blue dye to finish them off.

Head over to Prism's Paints in the Pumpkin Patch and buy a bottle of Candy Blue dye. The dye costs 33 Blueberries, so if you don't have enough, make sure to go look for them! When you get the dye, return to Tinker Bell.

Step 8

Tinker Bell: "You bought the dye! Great! I'll take it to the sewing-talents right away!" "Oh!" "While the sewing-talents finish up, can you find a bit of Meadow Grass? We can use it to tie the petalkerchiefs up in a neat bundle."

Find 5 Meadow Grass and bring them to Tinker Bell. Progress: # of 5

Story So Far

Silvermist is stuck in a water-talent sob fest, and now she's run out of leafkerchiefs. Tinker Bell and the sewing-talents are almost finished making Silvermist some new "petalkerchiefs". The last thing they need is a bit of Meadow Grass to bundle the petalkerchiefs neatly together.

Now it's time to gather up some Meadow Grass, if you don't have 5 already. Once you get the 5 needed, head on back to Tinker Bell and talk to her again.

Step 9

Tinker Bell: "Great! When the sewing-talents heard about Silvermist, they stitched super fast! The petalkerchiefs are done already!" "I'll just tie them in a bundle..." "...and you take them to Silvermist. She's going to love them!"

Deliver the bundle of new petalkerchiefs to Silvermist.

Now just head to Silvermist's Grotto to give Silvermist the petalkerchiefs and finish the quest!

Silvermist: "Those are *SNIFF* for me?" "They're petalkerchiefs? Oh, this is wonderful! *SNIFFLE*" "*HONK!* Ahh, much better." "Thank you, Fairyname Here. Hey, I haven't just been sitting here doing nothing. I turned some of the shimmers on the stream into a gift for you! Here!" "Oh no! You've just been so sweet to me, it's making me all teary again! I'd better go thank Tinker Bell right away before I get too teary to fly! See you!"
