Clothing

Should we change the setup of the way we do clothing?

In other parts of DOW, we try to get each picture of each type of clothing. Here, we are only doing certain ones, and saying they have a recolers section. I think even though it may be a big amount of images, we should have all the different images (even if they look similar) because they have different prices, and not just give a range of them (to try to be more precise : - )

Also, should we create a "template" for these, besides making tables, so it will be easier for us to put them in on the clothing store pages?

Also, how should we name the images, I'm not quite sure how we are naming them at the moment : - ).

Any ideas or thoughts? --Haveamagicalday (Talk | Contributions) 16:24, 5 September 2008 (PDT)

Granted I was completely consistent, but the way I was doing it was [P|T|D]<#>
P-pugpratts,T-Truehound,D-Dolores (of course the first store I visited with the item won)
Gender - added only when I ran into a conflict with the opposite gender.
<#>-incrementing number for items with the same name.

The detailed image was the same format with the word Big at the beginning.

If you want to keep them more consistent, you can follow something like that.

Also, if we make each clothing item it's own page, we could possibly add the preview images (like we do for VMK with some items) with having 4 views of the preview (front, back, left right) : - ).

With the names, I like the format :). Should we not abbreviate the names in this case, because it's a name of an item, but abbreviate the town and person? --Haveamagicalday (Talk | Contributions) 16:50, 5 September 2008 (PDT)

I used the image page itself and included the detailed images there. The image itself said 'Click to Preview' so I thought that worked rather nicely. Would be nice to add all the angles. Its just a mountain of work.
I wish I had used templates for each table row. Once I saw the same items in different stores, I wish I had done it that way. --Hile 16:56, 5 September 2008 (PDT)
