New Homepage.

Does it look good? If you don't like it, feel free to revert it. :) --Xiaolin 14:53, 9 September 2007 (CDT)

First of all, I just cleared the other discussions, since I thought they were a little old and were making the page long.

Secondly, the answer to your question. I personally don't like the new homepage. I liked it the way it was before. The sections are closer to the center than to the left side of the page, and nobody but the administrator guys can edit it. It doesn't seem very organized to me. --Squiddy22

Centering the sections was intentional - it looked awkward with a visually boxed area on the left and a lot of whitespace on the right.

Yes, we locked this page so there wouldn't be a lot of editing going on on our homepage. If theres a good reason, we can unlock it, but it had been relatively stable for a while and then had a bunch of sudden changes without discussion, so we wanted to lock it down so that didn't happen again.

What about it don't you find organized? The important items are on the top. Reminders are underneath. Text that didn't make any sense (like screen size recomendations) were removed.

Idk, it just would look better that way to me. But now I see what you're trying to do. Squiddy22 19:30, 12 September 2007 (CDT)

I don't like the new homepage either, it just doesn't "flow" Rocky 6:58, 17 October 2007 (CDT)

Suggestions? As noted above, the current layout evolved to this point as is certainly cleaner than it was. --Prisoner 06:48, 17 October 2007 (CDT)

What is the use of using tables to accomplish the effect that we have on this page? Thanks! Good ol Sandy 19:29, 6 January 2008 (CST)

It looks better, I think. --Haveamagicalday

The same effect could be made with divs, which is more semantic, so why not do it that way? Thanks! Good ol Sandy 20:00, 6 January 2008 (CST)

What are "divs"? Also, you might not know this, but an editor edited this page, trying to make it more organized, and then it was blocked for regular editors, and changed a little bit. --Haveamagicalday 20:04, 6 January 2008 (CST)

Game guide order . . .

On both the sidebar and main page the order of the guides is: VMK, TT, POTCO, CP, WOC, PH, Other. I would like to suggest that the order be changed. Maybe alphabetically (CP, POTCO, PH, TT, VMK, WOC, Other) or maybe another order? IMHO, with the closing of VMK it is no longer the most active guide so shouldn't have top billing anymore. Thoughts? -- SpinMarty 22:48, 8 October 2008 (PDT)

Agreed. As much as I love VMK, it is closed and doesn't need to be on top. I think they should be put in order of release. Toontown, VMK, Club Penguin and POTCO (Idk which was out first. . .), Pixie Hollow, The World of Cars, and then last Other Disney Online Games (since it is least used). --GoodPolarGirl 10:24, 12 October 2008 (PDT)
