Quick Quest Guide
This Quest has 9 steps.What you will need: 15 Meadow Grass, 25 Snowflakes, 23 Acorns (to purchase 1 Bottle of Corn Cob Yellow Dye) and 15 Pine Needles. You will also need enough ingredients to Personal Tailor any belt or sash you choose.
Quick Steps
- Go to Rosetta's Garden and ask if she has any quests. Pick Staring Contest.
- Earn a score of 10,000 points on Petal Pick-Up and return to Rosetta.
- Gather 15 Meadow Grass and give them to Rosetta.
- Gather 25 Snowflakes and give them to Rosetta.
- Go to Mendy's Tailoring Nook in Maple Tree Hill and Personal Tailor any belt or sash using Corn Cob Yellow Dye, and return to Rosetta.
- Fly to Fawn's Hideout in Maple Tree Hill and talk to Fawn.
- Return to Rosetta.
- Fly to Tinker's Nook in Cottonpuff Field and speak to Tinker Bell.
- Gather 15 Pine Needles and give them to Tink.
- Return to Rosetta.
- Pick your reward and the quest is over.
In Depth Quest Guide
This is a full walk through for the quest, so if you're confused by any of the quick steps, hopefully these can help you out.
Head over to Rosetta's Garden in Cherryblossom Heights and ask her if she has any quests. If you have finished the quest Rosetta's Roses, the quest should appear in the list of quests you may do and you can begin the quest immediately. Upon starting the quest, Rosetta will greet you:
Rosetta: "You know, I was just thinkin' of the friend I wanted to see most right now, an’ POOF! Here you are, sugar!"
"Okay, listen up. Iris and Lily challenged me to a Grass Growing Contest!"
"You have no idea what I'm talkin' about, do you? We garden-talents can make grass grow faster by starin’ at it. But who can make it grow FASTEST? We're gonna find out!"
"I need to train for the contest, an’ I want YOU to be my official Eyeball Coach! You can manage my Stare Training! What do you say?"
Step 1
Accept this Quest?Once you agree, Rosetta is thrilled and gives you the first step.
Rosetta: "Great! Now, I know you don't know seeds from saplings about bein' an Eyeball Coach, but don't worry. We'll sort all that out."
"The first part of Stare Training is to exercise the eye muscles. Let's go to Whispering Winds. You catch flower petals, an’ I’ll count every petal you catch!"
Fly to Cherryblossom Heights. Earn 10,000 points playing Petal Pick-Up in Whispering Winds. Return to Rosetta's Garden in Cherryblossom Heights when you are done!

Story So Far
You’re helping Rosetta train for a Grass Growing Contest. Go catch flower petals in Whispering Winds!
After you leave Rosetta's Garden, fly up to the top of Cherryblossom Heights and enter Whispering Winds. Play Petal Pick-Up until reach a score of 10,000 points (whether in one shot or cumulative). When you are finished playing, return to Rosetta.

Step 2
I caught flower petals with Rosetta!Rosetta: "You did good, sugar! And oh my, did I get an eyeball workout! Give me a minute to rest, an’ then we'll do the next exercise."
"Say, while I rest, can you go get us some nice fresh Meadow Grass? I've heard Meadow Grass Tea is good for the eyes."
Gather 15 Meadow Grass and bring them to Rosetta's Garden in Cherryblossom Heights.

An ingredient collecting task! It’s time to gather up some Meadow Grass now, if you don’t have 15 already. Once you get the required 15 Meadow Grass, return to Rosetta and give them to her.
Step 3
I have Meadow Grass for Rosetta!Rosetta: "Plant-astic! Now, while I make the tea, can you get some Snowflakes?"
"If I close my eyes an’ put Snowflakes on my eyelids, it'll help my staring abilities!"
Gather 25 Snowflakes and bring them to Rosetta's Garden in Cherryblossom Heights.

More ingredient collecting to do! This time you are looking for Snowflakes, if you don’t have 25 already. Once you get the required 25 Snowflakes, return to Rosetta and give them to her.
Step 4
I have Snowflakes for Rosetta!Rosetta: "Look, you even got Snowflakes that are eye-sized! I'm impressed! Now, I'll drink the Meadow Grass Tea an’ rest my eyes with the Snowflakes."
"While I do that, can you tailor me a belt over at Mendy's Tailoring Nook?"
"I can exercise my eyes by countin’ all the spider stitches you make in it, so do your best! Oh, dye it Corn Cob Yellow, got that?"
Fly to Mendy's Tailoring Nook in Maple Tree Hill. Use Personal Tailoring to make any belt you like. Use Corn Cob Yellow Dye from Prism's Paints in Pumpkin Patch. Fly to Rosetta's Garden in Cherryblossom Heights and give the finished item to Rosetta when you are done!

You’re helping Rosetta train for a Grass Growing Contest. Fly to Mendy’s Tailoring Nook and make a sash in Corn Cob Yellow!
The first thing you need to do for this step of the quest is to see if you own a Bottle of Corn Cob Yellow Dye. If not, flit over to Pumpkin Patch and purchase one from Prism's Paints. When you have your bottle of dye, head over to Mendy's Tailoring Nook in Maple Tree Hill. Choose Personal Tailoring and make a belt or sash. It doesn't matter which one you make as long as you use your Corn Cob Yellow Dye. Just make sure you have the ingredients required for the pattern you select. Once you finish tailoring, return to Rosetta.

Step 5
I made a Corn Cob Yellow belt for Rosetta!Rosetta: "Oh, the stitches are good an' small. Perfect! Now, while I exercise my eyes by counting the stitches, you need to do one more thing."
"Go visit Fawn and ask if she can send over one of her hedgehog friends. I can't think of a better eye exercise than to count the prickles on a hedgehog's back!"
Fly to Fawn's Hideout! You can get there from Maple Tree Hill.

I’m here to see Fawn.Fawn: "Heya, Pixie Name Here! Look, if this is about Rosetta's silly staring contest, count me out, Coach. You don't want to know what she tried to make me do last time."
"She wants to practice on a hedgehog? You've got to be joking."
"Okay, okay. Take Harvey. He's always sleepy, so he'll be easy to deal with."
Fly to Rosetta's Garden! You can get there from Cherryblossom Heights.

"Is that the little hedgie over there? Oh, he's so cute! And sleepy, apparently. Well, he can take a nice nap while I count his prickles."
"While I do that, can you go see Tink for me? Tell her about the contest. She'll know what to do."
Fly to Tinker's Nook! You can get there from Cottonpuff Field.

Step 8
I’m here to see Tink.Tinker Bell: "Pixie Name Here, good to see you! What brings you to Tinker's Nook?"
"Ohhh, a staring contest, huh? And you're Rosetta’s Eyeball Coach? I bet I know what Rosetta wants."
"I helped her train for the last contest. I hid Pine Needles, and she had to stare from a long distance and spot them all. It was a great exercise!"
"Unfortunately, I'm out of Pine Needles right now. Can you get me some?"
Gather 15 Pine Needles and bring them to Tinker's Nook in Cottonpuff Field.

This is the last ingredient collecting step! This time you are searching for Pine Needles, if you don’t have 15 already. Once you have gathered the 15 Pine Needles needed, return to Tinker Bell.

I have Pine Needles for Tinker Bell.Tinker Bell: "Perfect!"
"Go tell Rosetta that I'll set up her exercise near Havendish Stream, okay?"
Fly to Rosetta's Garden! You can get there from Cherryblossom Heights.

You’re helping Rosetta train for a Grass Growing Contest. Go give her Tinker Bell’s message!
Flit back to Rosetta's Garden as fast as you can to finish up the quest.

"Sorry, still countin'. Boy, does Harvey have a lot of prickles! So what did Tink say? She's settin' up near Havendish Stream? Perfect!"
"Then guess what, sugarplum? Your job is done! I'll be sure to tell you who wins, of course. I sure hope it's ME!"
"Here's a little somethin’ for all your help, Coach. Hope you like it!"

You'll receive a Grass Houseplant Grassblade Green as shown below. You also unlock the following quest upon completion: Flapping Contest.
