Quick Quest Guide
This Quest has 7 steps.What you will need: 25 Honeycombs and 20 Rose Petals (to buy 1 Bottle of Iris Purple Dye).
Flower Slippers: 1 Rose Petal, 2 Buttercup Petals, 2 Ivy and 6 Spider Silk. You will also need 1 Bottle of red dye for the personal tailoring. You may choose one of any of the following -- Pale Rose Red Dye (cost is 15 Lily Petals) from Daisy's Dyes located in Cherryblossom Heights; Strawberry Red Dye (cost is 51 Raspberries) from Prism's Paints located in Pumpkin Patch; or Crimson Red Dye (cost is 17 Pine Needles) from Colette's Colors located in Chilly Falls.
Quick Steps
- Go to Rosetta's Garden and ask if she has any quests. Pick Spring-Up Stuff.
- Earn a score of 10,000 points on Petal Pick-Up, then return to Rosetta.
- Earn a score of 10,000 points on Bubble Bounce, then return to Rosetta.
- Gather 25 Honeycombs and give them to Rosetta.
- Head on over to Iridessa's Glade in Sunflower Gully and speak to Iridessa.
- Return to Rosetta.
- Fly to Mendy's Tailoring Nook in Maple Tree Hill and Personal Tailor a pair of Flower Slippers in any shade of red, then return to Rosetta.
- Purchase a Bottle of Iris Purple Dye from Daisy's Dyes and give the dye to Rosetta.
- Pick your reward and the quest is over.
In Depth Quest Guide
This is a full walk through for the quest, so if you're confused by any of the quick steps, hopefully these can help you out.
Head over to Rosetta's Garden in Cherryblossom Heights and ask her if she has any quests. If you have finished the quest Rosetta's Roses, the quest should appear in the list of quests you may do and you can begin the quest immediately. Upon starting the quest, Rosetta will greet you:
Rosetta: "Well, hi there, sugar! Glad you flapped by. Did you come to see my cuddle vines? They're just too much!"
"You're not here for that? Then maybe you can help me with something."
"I was just about to whip up a batch of Spring-Up Perfume. It's not just for wearin' -- I mix in a smidgen of pixie dust to help the sprouts along."
"We garden-talents wear it while we're workin', and POOF! the flower seeds sprout nice an' healthy! We take some along to the mainland each spring to help the seeds there, too."
"Wanna help me make it?"
Step 1
Accept this Quest?Once you agree, Rosetta is thrilled and gives you the first step.
Rosetta: "Thanks, sugar! It's a thorny recipe, so an extra pair o' wings will make the job easier."
"First I need flower petals and lots of 'em!"
"There's only one way to get all the kinds I need -- we gotta catch 'em in Whisperin' Winds!"
Fly to Cherryblossom Heights. Earn 10,000 points playing Petal Pick-Up in Whispering Winds. Return to Rosetta's Garden in Cherryblossom Heights when you are done!

Story So Far
Rosetta is making a batch of Spring-Up Perfume, and you're helping her. Start by gathering flower petals in Whispering Winds.
Your first task is a talent game. Fly to the top of Cherryblossom Heights and play Petal Pick-Up. Once you reach a score of 10,000 points, whether in one shot or cumulative, go back to Rosetta.
Step 2
I have flower petals for Rosetta!Rosetta: "My, that's a big pile of petals! Next I need a little peppermint from my garden."
"I'll need to wash the peppermint leaves, so can you get a few bubbles of water? Silvermist can probably help -- I'll bet she's over at Soapstone Stream right now!"
Fly to Dewdrop Vale. Earn 10,000 points playing Bubble Bounce in Soapstone Stream. Return to Rosetta's Garden in Cherryblossom Heights when you are done.

Story So Far
Rosetta is making a batch of her famous Spring-Up Perfume, and you're helping her. You need to help Silvermist gather bubbles of water at Soapstone Stream.
Another talent game challenge! This time you are going to play Bubble Bounce, which is found in Dewdrop Vale. Once you reach a score of 10,000 points, whether in one shot or cumulative, fly back to Rosetta.
Step 3
I have bubbles of water for Rosetta!Rosetta: "Way to go, sugar!"
"Now while I wash these peppermint leaves, I need you to go out and get some Honeycombs."
"Peppermint gives the perfume a lift while Honeycomb keeps it sweet, you know. Try Palm Tree Cove or Sunflower Gully."
Gather 25 Honeycombs and bring them to Rosetta's Garden in Cherryblossom Heights.

Story So Far

It’s time to gather up some Honeycombs now, if you don’t have 25 already. Once you get the required 25 Honeycombs, return to Rosetta and give them to her.
Step 4
I have Honeycombs for Rosetta!Rosetta: "Nice work, sweet pea! The perfume is comin' along nicely."
"I just need you to go get a sunbeam from Iridessa. That's one of the secret ingredients!"
Fly to Iridessa's Glade! You can get there from Sunflower Gully.
Story So Far
Rosetta is making a batch of her famous Spring-Up Perfume, and you're helping her. Next you need to get a sunbeam from Iridessa.
Head over to Iridessa's Glade in Sunflower Gully and ask Iridessa to catch you a sunbeam.
Step 5
I need to see Iridessa!Iridessa: "Shimmering sunshine, if it isn't Fairyname Here! What are you doing out here?"
"Oh, I love Rosetta's perfumes! I can't use them like a garden-talent can, but I still wear them. They smell so good!"
"Sure, I'll catch a sunbeam for her. Hold on."
"Here's a nice bright one!"
"You should get this back to Rosetta quick!"
Fly to Rosetta's Garden! You can get there from Cherryblossom Heights.
Story So Far
Rosetta is making a batch of her famous Spring-Up Perfume, and you're helping her. You're bringing her a sunbeam from Iridessa.
Return to Rosetta's Garden in Cherryblossom Heights and deliver the sunbeam to Rosetta.
Step 6
I have a sunbeam for Rosetta!Rosetta: "Oh, this part is so excitin'!"
"I'm not a light-talent, so I can't actually TOUCH sunbeams, but it's amazin' to watch one melt into the perfume."
"Sufferin' seedlings, that's bright!"
"Huh? Hey, you, give those back! What're you...? Oh my...!"
"Did I say cuddle vines were cute? Well, they're also a pain in the petunia! A vine just pulled my work slippers right off my feet!"
"It's cuddlin' 'em so hard I can't get 'em back. *SIGH*"
"Can you go make me another pair of Flower Slippers while I keep workin' on this perfume? Make 'em red if you can, sugar!"
Fly to Mendy's Tailoring Nook in Maple Tree Hill. Use Personal Tailoring to make a pair of Flower Slippers with your choice of red dye. Fly to Rosetta's Garden in Cherryblossom Heights and give them to Rosetta when you are done!

Story So Far
Rosetta is making a batch of her famous Spring-Up Perfume, and you're helping her. You need to Personal Tailor her a new pair of Flower Slippers.
The first thing you need to do for this step of the quest is to see if you own a bottle of red dye. If not, purchase one from one of the dye shops (see What you will need section above for details). Then, flap over to Mendy's Tailoring Nook located in Maple Tree Hill. Once there, pick Personal Tailoring and choose Flower Slippers from the list. The pattern will not be automatically open for Personal Tailoring, you must earn it by first completing the pattern through Community Tailoring. When you have tailored the slippers, flit back to Rosetta and speak to her again
Step 7
I made red Flower Slippers for Rosetta!Rosetta: "These fit perfectly! Thanks so much, sweet pea."
"Well, it's time for the final ingredient of my recipe. I'm all done, everythin's mixed up -- and it's GREEN, just like it always is."
"It's 'cuz of the peppermint leaves. But who wants to wear perfume that makes you green?"
"I need you to flutter out an' get me a bottle of Iris Purple dye from Daisy's Dyes. Would ya do that for me, sugar?"
Fly to Daisy's Dyes in Cherryblossom Heights and get a bottle of Iris Purple Dye. Bring it to Rosetta's Garden in Cherryblossom Heights when you are done!

Story So Far
Rosetta is making a batch of her famous Spring-Up Perfume, and you're helping her. You need to get a bottle of Iris Purple dye because right now the perfume is green!
After leaving Rosetta’s, flit to the other side of Cherryblossom Heights and enter Daisy's Dyes. Buy a Bottle of Iris Purple Dye, which costs 20 Rose Petals. Once you buy the bottle head back to Rosetta to give her the bottle to finish the quest.

I have Iris Purple dye for Rosetta!Rosetta: "Thank goodness! Green perfume makes my tummy flip around like a ladybug doin' loop-the-loops!"
"I'll mix the whole bottle in. Takes a lot o' dye to get rid of that peppermint green!"
"It's all done, sugar! Thanks tons for all your help. I have a little something for you now..."
"Here's some Mint Green dye I made with the leftover peppermint. I hope you make something cute with it!"
You'll receive 3 Bottles of Mint Green Dye as shown below. You also unlock the following quests upon completion: Loony Ladybugs, Spring-Up Perfume and Buttercup Bouquet.
