Quick Quest Guide

What you will need: 22 Ivy, 16 Maple Leaves, 20 Acorns and 12 Dandelion Fluff.

Quick Steps

• Go to Silvermist's Grotto and ask if she has any quests. Pick Soapstone Overflow.
• Gather 22 Ivy and give them to Silvermist.
• Gather 16 Maple Leaves and give them to Silvermist.
• Gather 20 Acorns and give them to Sil.
• Gather 12 Dandelion Fluff and give them to Silvermist.
• Pick your reward and the quest is over.

In Depth Quest Guide

This is a full walk through for the quest, so if you're confused by any of the quick steps, hopefully these can help you out.

Head over to Silvermist's Grotto in Dewdrop Vale and ask her if she has any quests. If you have finished the quest The Bubble Top Slipper Story, the quest should appear in the list of quests you may do and you can begin immediately. Upon starting the quest, Silvermist will greet you:

Silvermist: "Oh no! Fairyname Here, it's a disaster!"
"Sometimes Soapstone Stream overflows its banks after a big rain like we had last night."
"The stream is overflowing again, this time near Lily's garden! We have to stop that water before it floods her garden and ruins everything! Will you help?"

Step 1

Once you agree, Silvermist is thrilled and gives you the first step.

Silvermist: "Thank you! Last time this happened we built a dam on the bank where the water overflowed. Let's try that again."
"Hurry and gather lots of Ivy! I've got grass weaving-talents ready to weave it into a frame!"

Gather 22 Ivy and bring them to Silvermist's Grotto in Dewdrop Vale.

Story So Far

Soapstone Stream is starting to overflow! Silvermist needs your help to keep the water from flooding Lily's garden!

Your first task is to gather up some Ivy, if you don't have 22 already. Once you get the 22 Ivy needed, flap back to Silvermist and talk to her again.

Step 2

Silvermist: "Wow, that was fast! I'll send this to the grass weaving-talents right away!"
"In the meantime, we need to collect some Maple Leaves!

Gather 16 Maple Leaves and bring them to Silvermist's Grotto in Dewdrop Vale.

Another ingredient collecting task! Now it's time to gather some Maple Leaves, if you don't have 16 already. Once you get the 16 Maple Leaves needed, head on back to Silvermist and talk to her.

Step 3

Silvermist: "Thanks! The grass-weaving talents are almost done making the frame. They're going to use these Maple Leaves to cover the frame and make the dam waterproof."
"You need to fly fast and gather Acorns now. We'll use them to weigh everything down."

Gather 20 Acorns and bring them to Silvermist's Grotto in Dewdrop Vale.

Story So Far

Soapstone Stream is starting to overflow! Silvermist needs your help to keep the water from flooding Lily's garden! The grass weaving-talents are making a waterproof frame to use as a dam, but they need something to weigh it down.

You’re searching for Acorns now, if you don't have 20 already. Once you get the 20 Acorns needed, return to Silvermist and give them to her.

Step 4

Silvermist: "Okay, I'll get these to the tinker-talents right away. They'll attach the Acorns to the waterproof frame that the grass-weaving-talents made. Then they'll set the dam up where the stream is about to overflow!"
"We want to make sure the dam won't leak at all. Can you get some Dandelion Fluff? We'll use it to plug any tiny leaks we find."

Gather 12 Dandelion Fluff and bring them to Silvermist's Grotto in Dewdrop Vale.

Story So Far

Soapstone Stream is starting to overflow! Silvermist needs your help to keep the water from flooding Lily's garden! The grass-weaving-talents and tinker-talents are working together to build the dam. The last thing needed is some Dandelion Fluff to seal any small leaks that might occur.

Your last ingredient collecting task! You need to find Dandelion Fluff, if you don't have 12 already. Once you get the required 12 Dandelion Fluff, flit back to Silvermist to finish the quest!

Silvermist: "These look perfectly poofy! They ought to soak up a lot of water."
"We did it! Lily's garden is saved!"
"Here's a little bit of Soapstone Stream for you to take home so you'll never forget this day!"
