Rosetta's Roses (Quest)

Back to the Pixie Hollow Quests for Members page Rosetta's Roses is a quest you can get from Rosetta. Upon completion, you will receive Pale Rose Red Rose Petal Sash (Fairies) or Cherry Brown Ivy Twist Belt (Sparrow Men). Prerequisites: No current prerequisites. Prior to 4 September 2009 Welcome to Pixie Hollow had to be completed. Released: 26 March 2009

Quick Quest Guide

This Quest has 8 steps.

What you will need: 10 Ivy and 30 Dandelion Fluff.

Quick Steps

• Go to Rosetta's Garden and ask Rosetta if she has any quests. Pick Rosetta's Roses.
• Head over to Tinker's Nook and speak to Tinker Bell.
• Gather 10 Ivy and give them to Tinker Bell.
• Gather 30 Dandelion Fluff and give them to Tinker Bell.
• Return to Rosetta.
• Fly to Fawn's Hideout and visit her.
• Return to Rosetta.
• Earn a score of 10,000 in Petal Pick-Up and return to Rosetta.
• Earn a score of 10,000 in Firefly Light-Up and return to Rosetta.
• Pick your reward and the quest is over.

In Depth Quest Guide

This is a full walk through for the quest, so if you're confused by any of the quick steps, hopefully these can help you out.

Head over to Rosetta's Garden in Cherryblossom Heights and ask her if she has any quests. The quest should pop up immediately and you'll be able to begin. Upon starting the quest, Rosetta will greet you:

Rosetta: "Well hey there, sugarplum! Aren't you just the most stylish thing? I love how you've done your hair!"
"Oh wait, looks like Spring the messenger-talent just showed up. Wait here one teensy second."
"Oh no!"
"My roses! Fawn sent a message saying those big winds last night damaged my roses! Oh, I've got to do something right away! Can you help me, sugar?"

Step 1

Accept this Quest?

Once you agree, Rosetta is thrilled and gives you the next step.

Rosetta: "Thanks so much! Now, I can do the actual repairs myself -- I know those roses from root to petal! But I need help getting everything together."
"Could you go ask Tinker Bell to make me some emergency stem splints? She's in Tinker's Nook!"

Fly to Tinker's Nook! You can get there from Cottonpuff Field.

Go to Tinker's Nook in Cottonpuff Field to ask Tink if she can make stem splints.

I’m here to see Tinker Bell!

Tinker Bell: "Hi, Pixie Name Here! What's flapping?"
"Oh, poor Rosetta! She loves ther roses more than anything. Sure, I can make some stem splints in a jiff! Hm, I’ll need Ivy..."
"Can you go gather Ivy for me?"

Gather 10 Ivy and bring them to Tinker's Nook in Cottonpuff Field.

You're helping Rosetta mend her roses. Gather Ivy!

You need to collect some ingredients! So, go search for Ivy, if you don’t have the 10 needed already. Once you get the 10 Ivy needed, return to Tink and give them to her.

Step 3

I have Ivy for Tinker Bell!

Tinker Bell: "This Ivy is good and strong. Great! I'll use it to tie the sticks together and make the splints. While I do, you need to go out again."
"Rosetta told me once that rose stems bruise easily. She'll probably want to pad the splints with Dandelion Fluff. Will you gather some?"

Gather 30 Dandelion Fluff and bring them to Tinker's Nook in Cottonpuff Field.

Another ingredient collecting task! This time you are looking for Dandelion Fluff, if you don’t have 30 already. Once you get the 30 Dandelion Fluff, flap back to Tink and give them to her.

Tinker Bell: "Just in time! I've finished the stem splints."
"Here, take everything to Rosetta right away. Tell her I hope her roses will be okay!"

Take the stem splints to Rosetta's Garden in Cherryblossom Heights, and give them to Rosetta.

"Next item? Soil! I'm sure the wind exposed my roses’ roots, so I'll need to cover them back up real good. Will you go get some rich forest soil from Fawn?"

Fly to Fawn's Hideout! You can get there from Maple Tree Hill.

Go to Fawn's Hideout in Maple Tree Hill to ask Fawn if she has some forest soil.

"Wait! Old Shellback the turtle told me there’s some really rich soil by Havendish Stream. The beavers are using it to build their new dam."
"Tell Rosetta I'll ask the beavers to dig up some extra soil for her. We'll bring it to her using mouse carts, okay?"

I’m here to see Rosetta!

Rosetta: "Fawn is bringing forest soil? Plant-astic! All we need now are flower petal bandages. Nothing makes a better bandage for a petal than another petal!"
"There's only one way to get that many flower petals at once -- by playing Petal Pick-Up! I'll meet you there, sugar!"

Fly to Cherryblossom Heights. Earn 10,000 points playing Petal Pick-Up. Return to Rosetta's Garden in Cherryblossom Heights when you are done!
