Rosetta's Roses (Quest)

Back to the Pixie Hollow Quests for all Players page Rosetta's Roses is a quest you can get from Rosetta. Upon completion, you will receive a Rose Petal Sash Pale Rose Red. Prerequisites: No current prerequisites. Prior to 4 September 2009 Welcome to Pixie Hollow had to be completed. Released: 26 March 2009

Quick Quest Guide

This Quest has 8 steps.

What you will need: 10 Ivy and 30 Dandelion Fluff.

Quick Steps

• Go to Rosetta's Garden and ask Rosetta if she has any quests. Pick Rosetta's Roses.
• Head over to Tinker's Nook and speak to Tinker Bell.
• Gather 10 Ivy and give them to Tinker Bell.
• Gather 30 Dandelion Fluff and give them to Tinker Bell.
• Return to Rosetta's Garden and talk to her.
• Fly to Fawn's Hideout and visit her.
• Head back to Rosetta and talk to her again.
• Earn a score of 10,000 in Petal Pick-Up and return to Rosetta.
• Earn a score of 10,000 in Firefly Light-Up and return to Rosetta.
• Pick your reward and the quest is over.

In Depth Quest Guide

This is a full walk through for the quest, so if you're confused by any of the quick steps, hopefully these can help you out.

Head over to Rosetta's Garden in Cherryblossom Heights and ask her if she has any quests. The quest should pop up immediately and you'll be able to begin. Upon starting the quest, Rosetta will greet you:

Rosetta: "Well hey there, sugarplum! Aren't you just the cutest thing? I love how you've done your hair."
"Oh! A messenger-talent's here! One little second."
"Oh no!"
"My roses! Fawn just sent a message saying those big winds last night really hurt 'em!"
"Oh, I've got to do somethin' right away! Can you help me, sweet pea?"

Step 1

Accept this Quest?

Once you agree, Rosetta is thrilled and gives you the next step.

Rosetta: "Thanks so much! Now, I can do the actual repairs myself -- I know those roses root to petal! But I need help gettin' everything together."
"Go ask Tink to lend a wing and make some emergency stem splints!"

Fly to Tinker's Nook! You can get there from Cottonpuff Field.

Story So Far

A big wind has damaged Rosetta's roses, and you're helping her gather materials to mend them. First go ask Tinker Bell to make some emergency stem splints.

Go to Tinker's Nook in Cottonpuff Field to ask Tink if she can make stem splints.

Step 2

I’m here to see Tinker Bell!

Tinker Bell: "Hi, Fairyname Here! How are things flappin'?"
"Oh, poor Rosetta! She loves those roses more than anything. Sure, I can make some stem splints in a jiff!"
"Can you go gather up some Ivy? I need to see if I have enough Twigs here..."

Gather 10 Ivy and bring them to Tinker's Nook in Cottonpuff Field.

Story So Far

A big wind has damaged Rosetta's roses, and you're helping her gather materials to mend them. First you're helping Tinker Bell make some emergency stem splints.

You need to collect some ingredients. So, go search for the 10 Ivy. If you have 10 Ivy already you don't have to leave you can just give them to her, and then the next step will begin.

Step 3

I have Ivy for Tinker Bell!

Tinker Bell: "This Ivy is very good and strong. Great! I'll use it to tie the twigs together and make the splints."
"While I do that, can you get some Dandelion Fluff? Rosetta told me once rose stems bruise easily -- she'll probably want to pad the splints with fluff."

Gather 30 Dandelion Fluff and bring them to Tinker's Nook in Cottonpuff Field.

Story So Far

A big wind has damaged Rosetta's roses, and you're helping her gather materials to mend them. First you're helping Tinker Bell make some emergency stem splints. You need to get Dandelion Fluff to pad them.

This is another ingredient collecting step. Find 30 Dandelion Fluff, if you don’t have them already. If you have 30 Dandelion Fluff already you don't have to leave you can just give them to her, and then the next step will begin.

Step 4

I have Dandelion Fluff for Tinker Bell!

Tinker Bell: "Just in time! I've finished the splints."
"Here, take everything to Rosetta right away. Tell her I hope her roses will be okay!"

Fly to Rosetta's Garden! You can get there from Cherryblossom Heights.

Story So Far

A big wind has damaged Rosetta's roses, and you're helping her gather materials to mend them. You helped Tinker Bell make some stem splints. Now you're delivering them to Rosetta.

Take the stem splints to Rosetta's Garden in Cherryblossom Heights, and give them to Rosetta.

Step 5

I have stem splints for Rosetta!

Rosetta: "That Tinker Bell is such a rare talent. These splints are perfect! And she remembered Dandelion Fluff for pads, too!"
"Now I need you to ask Fawn for some of the best forest soil she can find. I'm sure the wind exposed the roses’ roots, so I'll need to cover 'em real good."

Fly to Fawn's Hideout! You can get there from Maple Tree Hill.

Story So Far

Go to Fawn's Hideout in Maple Tree Hill to ask Fawn if she can has some forest soil.

Step 6

I’m here to see Fawn.

Fawn: "Hi, chickadee! Do you know if Rosetta got my message about her roses?"
"That's a relief. I bet you're helping her repair 'em, too."
"You need forest soil? Hmmm..."
"Wait! Have you met Ol' Shellback the turtle? I went to check up on him the other day, and he said there's some really rich forest soil by the north bank of Havendish Stream!"
"Ol' Shellback said the beavers are using it to build their new dam."
"Tell Rosetta I'll help round up the beavers to dig up more soil, and we'll bring it to her using mouse carts, 'kay?"

Fly to Rosetta's Garden! You can get there from Cherryblossom Heights.

Story So Far

A big wind has damaged Rosetta's roses, and you're helping her gather materials to mend them. First you helped Tinker Bell make stem splints. Now you need to tell Rosetta that Fawn will deliver good soil to her garden.

Fly back to Rosetta's Garden in Cherryblossom Heights, and tell Rosetta that Fawn is getting soil for her garden.

Step 7

I’m delivering a message from Fawn!

Rosetta: "Fawn is getting me the soil? What a relief! We're ready to fix up the roots and stems, so that just leaves the petals. And you know nothin' makes a better bandage for a flower petal than another flower petal."
"I'll need different kinds, though, depending on the damage to my poor roses..."
"I know! Let's both go to Whispering Winds! We can catch tulip petals and pansy petals and, o'course, Rose Petals. I'll meetcha there in a flit, all right, sugarplum?"

Fly to Cherryblossom Heights. Earn 10,000 points playing Petal Pick-Up in Whispering Winds. Return to Rosetta's Garden in Cherryblossom Heights when you are done!

Story So Far

A big wind has damaged Rosetta's roses, and you're helping her gather materials to mend them. You've helped Tinker Bell make stem splints and Fawn deliver forest soil. Now you need to catch flower petals in Whispering Winds.

Play Petal Pick-Up in Cherryblossom Heights. Once you get the score of 10,000 needed (whether in one shot or cumulative), quit the game or play until you finish then return to Rosetta.

Step 8

I’ve got lots of flower petals!

Rosetta: "Just what I hoped -- we got us a whole mess of flower petals!"
"I think we're almost ready! If I know those roses, they're gonna need some nice warm light to heal."
"Fireflies! I'll use fireflies to keep warm light on my roses even after the sun goes down! That'll really help!"
"While I start tending my roses, you go see Iridessa. Help her light some fireflies and then bring some back!"

Fly to Springtime Orchard. Earn 10,000 points playing Firefly Light-Up in Twilight Glen. Return to Rosetta's Garden in Cherryblossom Heights when you're done!

Story So Far

A big wind has damaged Rosetta's roses, and you're helping her gather materials to mend them. You've helped Tinker Bell make stem splints, Fawn deliver forest soil, and Rosetta catch flower petals in Whispering Winds. Now you need to light up some fireflies in Twilight Glen.

Last game! Play Firefly Light-Up in Springtime Orchard. Once you get the score of 10,000 needed (whether in one shot or cumulative), quit the game or play until you finish then return to Rosetta.

Your Reward

I’ve got fireflies for Rosetta!

Rosetta: "Back already, sugar? I have good news! My roses are mended, tended, and startin' to heal."
"And you brought the fireflies! They're perfect. Well, hi there, little fireflies! Come on, the roses are this way."
"See 'em? They're right over there, just past the herb patch. Thank you!"
"Fireflies are just the sweetest, most helpful little guys, aren't they?"
"And you're awfully sweet, too, Fairyname Here. Thanks for helping me so much."
"Here's a lovely little sash I whipped together for you from a few fallen Rose Petals"
"I hope you visit again soon!"

You'll receive Rose Petal Sash Pale Rose Red as shown below. You also unlock the following Member-only quests upon completion: Staring Contest, Lumpy Trouble, Spring-Up Stuff and Mission: Fashion.
