Pixie Hollow announced the Spring Celebration under the "Events" section on the Pixie Hollow site.

Winter is on its way out, and spring is almost here. Get ready to welcome the glorious green season with a colorful celebration! But first, we have a little problem to solve ...

That's right, pixies -- spring might be in trouble! Get over to Rosetta's Garden to help with her quest to end a terrible drought! You'll also need to work with your pixie pals to make rain -- follow the signs in the spring meadows to find out how! And Members, we're all counting on you to visit the Ballroom and water the wilting Everblossom to make sure it doesn't dry out. Come on, pixies, let's all SPRING into action and make the Minister of Spring proud!

Pre-Event Quest & Badge

A special quest, available to Members, was released on 10 March 2011. Players needed to visit Rosetta in Cherryblossom Heights to begin the quest.

• Help End the Drought

Players who completed the quest were awarded a Saving Spring badge.

Event Gifts

In honor of the Spring Celebration, The Ballroom was opened to Member Fairies. Players could enter the Ballroom and receive a Corn Cob Yellow Raindrop Hat gift. Once the gift was clicked, the gift disappeared.

Making Rain in the Hollow

During the preparations for the Spring Celebration event, member players who collected and wore a Raindrop Hat from The Ballroom, then got together in any of the Spring Valley meadows or The Ballroom with at least two other pixie friends who were wearing the hat as well; could then click on the Rain emote to earn the Saving Spring badge and create rain in the Hollow. All three pixies had to put up the Rain emote at the same time in order to create the rain.

Decorations

The Spring Celebration was held in Spring Valley -- Cherryblossom Heights, Springtime Orchard, Dewdrop Vale, Neverberry Thicket and Treetop Bend.

Pre-Event Decorations: The Drought

Before the coming of spring, Spring Valley was devastated by an awful drought. Pixie players were asked to help make rain in order to bring the new season to the Hollow and end the drought.
