Pixie Hollow announced the 2011 Fairy Friendship Festival under the "Events" section on the Pixie Hollow site.

The Fairy Friendship Festival (2/9 - 2/16)

It's time to celebrate with your pixie pals in the Hollow at the Fairy Friendship Festival! From February 9 through February 16, gather your friends and fly over to the meadows decorated with heart canopies. This year, you'll need to work together in these special areas to earn the Fairy Friendship Festival 2011 badge. A flitterific gift station will also be set up in Havendish Square, where Members will be able to send animated gift packages to their friends!

Speaking of gifts, Tinker Bell will be working on a gift for her best friend Terence during the event. Flap on over to Tinker's Nook in Cottonpuff Field to help Tink with her quest and get a sweet badge. You'll also have a chance to chat with Tink and Terence in the Ballroom during the event!

While you are waiting for the Fairy Friendship Festival to begin, be sure to enjoy Sweet Week -- it starts on February 1! Fly to the Never News that week to learn more about the event details.

Quest

A special quest, available to Members, was released on 9 February 2011. Players needed to visit Tinker Bell in Cottonpuff Field to begin the quest.

Players who completed the quest were awarded a Friends Forever Badge.

Event Gifts

In honor of the 2011 Fairy Friendship Festival, The Ballroom was opened to Member Fairies. Players could enter the Ballroom and receive a Heart Glasses Thundercloud Gray gift. Once the gift was clicked, the gift disappeared.

Crafting Project

New tailoring patterns were introduced in Mendy's Tailoring Nook to celebrate the 2011 Fairy Friendship Festival. The Friendship Wrap was available for Fairies to create; while the Friendship Cuff was available to Sparrow Men. All players could complete the pattern using Community Tailoring; and once completed, Member players could personal tailor the item.

Interactive Play

During the event, Member players could create gifts in Havendish Square to give to their friends. Once the gift was complete, a friendly message was sent to everyone on the player's friend list.
