Pixie Hollow announced the 2009 Winter Wonderland Party under the "Events" section on the Pixie Hollow site.

Winter Wonderland Party: December 21 - January 4

There’s a chill in the air and a hush in Winter Woods, which can only mean one thing ... it’s almost time for the Winter Wonderland Party! We’re celebrating in the Hollow with frosty festivities for all, including a shimmerific holiday snowflake hunt, a wintry badge, and special appearances from the Minister of Winter and the splashtastic water-talent, Silvermist! Tink and friends will also have a special holiday chain of TWELVE quests for Members, filled to the brim with song, spirit, and treats for winter trees. Plus, the Ballroom will open for Members for the first time ever in Havendish Square!

But before the party can begin, we all have to help light the night for the Winter Fairies who are hard at work sculpting snowflakes and polishing icicles. Starting December 12 through December 20, you’ll be able to earn a badge for playing Fairy Fireworks -- eight times. Look for more about the Great Winter Light-Up in the Never News!

Badges

Fairies who collected all 15 Holiday Snowflakes in the Winter Woods meadows were awarded the 2009 Winter Wonderland badge.

Quests

Special quests, available to Member Fairies, were released on 21 December 2009. Players needed to visit Tink in Cottonpuff Field to begin the string of quests which featured cheerful holiday decorations as rewards.

• Two Turtle Doves

Players who completed the quest would receive the Turtle Dove Ornament Spruce Green.

Member Fairies were then sent to see Silvermist in Dewdrop Vale.

• Three French Hens

Players who completed the quest received the Feather Ornament Frosty Blue.

Next, Member Fairies were sent to see Rosetta in Cherryblossom Heights.

• Four Calling Birds

Players who completed the quest received the Hummingbird Ornament Marigold Yellow.

Next, Member Fairies were sent to see Iridessa in Sunflower Gully.

• Five Gold Rings

Players who completed the quest received the Sun Ornament Daffodil Yellow.

Next, Member Fairies were sent to see Fawn in Maple Tree Hill.

• Six Geese a-Laying

Member Fairies were then asked to return to Silvermist's Grotto in Dewdrop Vale.

• Seven Swans a-Swimming

And then Member Fairies were asked to see Rosetta again.

• Eight Maids a-Milking

A return trip to Fawn's Hideout was next on the questing adventure's agenda.

• Nine Ladies Dancing

Players who completed the quest received the Fairy Ornament Sparkling Yellow.

Next came one last trip to see Iridessa in her Glade.

• Ten Lords a-Leaping

Member Fairies were then sent to see Silvermist one last time.

Famous Fairy Visits

The Minister of Winter and Silvermist visited The Ballroom and Winter Woods meadow on various servers.

Event Gifts

Players who met the Minister of Winter and Silvermist in the meadow received a special gift of a Berry Wreath from them. The Minister of Winter and Silvermist placed gift boxes in the meadow and players could click the gift box to collect. Once the gift box was clicked, the gift box turned gray, then disappeared.

Special Releases

In honor of the Winter Wonderland Party, The Ballroom was opened for the first time to Member Fairies. Players could enter the Ballroom and receive a Poinsettia Headband gift.
