The POTCO Site has been through many changes since it was originally released to the public. Here you can see the history of the site from the start to the current page.

The Past

This is a July 2006 Screenshot of the original POTCO site. This was the site used from the original announcement of Pirates of the Caribbean Online up to August 15, 2007.

The Present

The current site has since had a great set of renovations from it's original counterpart. This version of the site featured a welcome page which sometimes loaded instead of the homepage itself, which allowed you to login before going into the site.

Along with a renovation of the site, this version also sported the current logo for Pirates of the Caribbean online. The past version of the site had a similar logo, but the major difference was the lack of the POTC skull and crossbones. This version of the site had many additions come with it, including the Grog Blog and the ability to gift memberships.

The Future

On January 27, 2009, the POTCO team announced the third version of the Pirates of the Caribbean Online site as part of the changes expected to take place during 2009.

The Past, needs work

Just wanted to make a quick note as I redid this page a few days back. The reason I have kept the stub tab after adding info and reformatting the page is due to the lack of the info on the original Pirates of the Caribbean Site. I have tried doing a cache search on the site to get the main info I was hoping we could add for this, which would be the main page of the site. If anyone has info about the original site they can add, that would be greatly appreciated. --Jack I 15:19, 12 February 2009 (PST)
