About the Pistol

Use this basic Range Weapon on opponents who won't come close enough for you to hit them with your Cutlass. Practice with Jack the Monkey to sharpen your marksmanship.

Remember the Pirate Code

The Pirate Code strictly states that pistols may only be used against the undead (Jolly Roger's Skeletons as well as those unholy creatures he has cursed), and must never be used against people –– be they other Pirates, townsfolk, the Royal Navy, or the East India Trading Company Black Guard.

Not surprisingly, there is an exception to this rule. Pirates become undead during Pirate versus Pirate (PVP) skirmishes. At these times, feel free to blast away all you like.

Pistol Ammunition

LeadShot	Standard ammunition. You can use a lot of this since you'll never run out.	1
VenomShot	Coated with deadly venom. Will damage your opponent over time.	2
BaneShot	A cursed bullet. This will weaken your enemy making it harder for them to hit and damage you.	6
HexEaterShot	Damages Voodoo as well as Health. Can completely incapacitate Voodoo wielding enemies!	10
SilverShot	Made from solid silver. Use against the Undead but not the Living.	17
SteelShot	The strongest metal shot. Use against the Living but not the Undead.	20
