Options
The Game Options can be opened by opening your sea chest (by clicking the treasure chest at the bottom of the screen or pushing the F7 key on your keyboard). The Game Options menu, controls your settings for the game.
Display

The display is what opens first when you open up your Game Options. This setting gives different options on how you want your game to look like (appear).
Full Screen On/Off
This option, when clicked, either makes the POTCO game screen to either take up the entire screen of your computer screen, or part of it. When the "Fullscreen" button is a bright green, the game is in Full Screen Mode, and when it's a dark green, it's not in Full Screen Mode. To change back to one or the other, all you have to do is re-click the button called "Fullscreen".
Windowed Resolutions
This option shows what screen resolution you want. The default is 800x600.
Fullscreen Resolutions
This option lets you change what resolution you want your POTCO screen to be. The higher you go, the smaller your POTCO screen will be. The lower you go, the the POTCO screen will be.
Graphics

The Graphics section shows how sharp, shades, shadow's, and more!
Reflections
This option lets you use reflections in the game.

What Does the "*" Mean?
The * means that you must restart the game, before the changes can take effect. Restarting means, just log out, and log back in, and the changes should happen.
Geometry

The Geometry section is about the detail and quality of your pirate, landscape, and how much memory to save.
Character Detail Level
This option puts stronger or weaker detail showing to you on your pirate and other pirates, when you look at them. If you click the "High" button, the detail gets stronger and takes up more memory., the "Low" button shows not as strong of detail, but takes up less memory, and the "Medium" button is in the middle. The one in bright green is the one currently chosen. If you wish to change it, just click either of the other dark green ones.
Terrain Detail Level
This option is similar to the Character Detail Level section, in which you can make the terrain around you more detailed. The more detailed you get, the more memory it takes up. If you click the "High" button, the detail gets stronger and takes up more memory., the "Low" button shows not as strong of detail, but takes up less memory, and the "Medium" button is in the middle. The one in bright green is the one currently chosen. If you wish to change it, just click either of the other dark green ones.

Audio

The Audio section is your sound settings. You can control the volume, or you can mute it.
Sound Effects
This option is for things such as sounds made by fighting, doors opening, walking, and more. The button called "On" keeps these sounds on, even if the volume is on "0" (though you won't hear anything at "0"), and the "Off" button keeps sound off, even if your volume is at "100". This only works for POTCO, not your regular volume control on your computer. When a button is a light green, that's the option currently being used, and the dark green isn't.
Sound Effects Volume
This is part of the Sound Effects section, but controls the volume of the game. If you move the tab on the bar to the left, it gets quieter, and if you move it to the right, it gets louder. The number next to the words "Sound Effects Volume", goes from 0-100, 0 is like muting it, and 100 is as loud as you can get.
Music
This option controls if you want music played or not, it's like the "background music". The button called "On" keeps the music on, even if the Music Volume is at "0" (which doesn't make any sound). The "Off" button turns off the music, even if the Music Volume is at "100". When a button is light green, that's the option currently being used, and the dark green is the one that isn't.
