Answer: Richard Nixon

The 37th President of the United States, Richard M. Nixon served from 1969 to 1974. Prior to being elected President, he was Vice President under President Dwight D. Eisenhower. Nixon was on hand to help Walt Disney at the ribbon cutting ceremony to launch the Monorail system at Disneyland.

Did you know: Walt and his wife Lillian Disney were personal friends of Richard Nixon? In fact, Walt had a special fondness for heads of state – Abraham Lincoln was a childhood hero of Walt's and for a school project Walt recited part of the Gettysburg Address. Eventually Walt's affection for American history would result in many Disney Theme Park attractions with historic themes, like The Hall of Presidents at the Magic Kingdom and The American Adventure at EPCOT.

Abraham Lincoln was the very first human audio-animatronics figure ever produced by Walt Disney Imagineering, it was completed for the 1964 New York World's Fair and the Great Moments with Mr. Lincoln exhibit.

A Magician's Quest!

Ladies and gentlemen, step right up! Play RubyBrightEye's amazing Magician's Quest! Be astounded and entertained by this challenging adventure that takes you throughout the Kingdom! Meet new friends! Chat with NPC's! Play games!

This week we'll look at how to build a Quest room that will make your friends feel like a part of the Magic!

BEFORE: A great start but it needs more magic!

All great magicians know that the atmosphere adds to the illusion. We needed a lot of atmosphere for this room, so we started from the ground up! Magic Show Carpet Centers, Edges, and Corners are great for wall-to-wall carpeting. TIP: Changing the flooring can have big impact in an empty room.

We then disguised the dark walls with Magic Show Room Dividers. We spaced those out by placing blue Hong Kong Paper Lanterns in-between them. Next, we created a stage out of Magic Show Blocks A, B, and C – staggering those to show different colored curtains in the front and a variety of star patterns on the side.

DURING: This room is getting more magical by the minute!

Almost at our halfway point now, the Quest Machine is moved near the back of the stage. By doing this, guests still have room to show off their favorite magic tricks at the front of the stage. By using Magic Show Curtains on all sides of the Quest Machine it showcases the Quest, making it the center of the room.

Now for a place to sit! We created three rows of Magic Show Top Hat Chairs in Blue and Purple and added a Gold chair (a HOST prize) to the center of each row.

The room was still missing a bit of magic, so we added four Main Street Magic Shop Tables around the edges of the room along with two almost-hidden Tower of Terror Elevator Teleporters in the far corners – for magic tricks that are both fun to watch and add magic to the room!

AFTER: The stage is now set for a amazing Quest!

Celebrate the magic of friendship at Heart to Heart. Your host, iamabigdisfan, invites friends to share their stories of friendship and their favorite magical memories.
This room was chosen for it's vibrant colors and candy heart sculpture. The cyan and magenta Heart Chairs perfectly match the Magic Show Stage Curtains placed around the border of the room while the clouds give you the feeling like you're walking on air in a magical garden of friendship!
We picked this themed room because of it's variety and great design. Utilizing the standard Coffee Table Crates along with Ice Chairs (and a few well placed Heart Seats) Debsangels has created a truly magical moment.
Once you've said hello to the resident hare, take in some other fantastical fare! Perform a few magic tricks, take a seat in front of Madame Leota's Crystal Ball and have your destiny revealed or have your fortune read!

Best Game Rooms

Are You a True Magician? Find out when you play sugerbebe's newest game! Stand before the judges and try out best magic tricks and answer some magical trivia. If you can prove that you're a true magician, you'll be handsomely rewarded!
This game is simple and fun with lots of laughs. Even if you're not ready to get up and show off your grand magic skills, you can have a seat in the audience and just enjoy the show!

Best Quest Rooms

It's the Disney Friends Forever Quest! Do you think you know all there is to know about famous Disney friendships? Put your knowledge to the test with fun and easy quest.
This room was decorated with friends in mind. An Ice Cube heart in the center of the room is a homage to "Best Friend Forever" and there's plenty of seating all across the room where friends can gather and chat.
There's a frendly and exciting atmosphere from the moment you walk in to the moment you wave good bye!
