Quick Quest Guide
This Quest has 6 steps.What you will need: 27 Twigs (to purchase a Tinkering Glass) and 25 Bits of Metal.
Quick Steps
- Go to Tinker's Nook and ask her if she has any quests. Pick Learn to Illuminate.
- Purchase a Tinkering Glass from Treetop Housewares and give it to Tink.
- Earn a score of 8,000 points in Tinker Toss and return to Tinker Bell.
- Fly to Snowcap Glade and enter the meadow. Return to Tinker Bell.
- Earn a score of 5,000 points in Snowflake Sweep and fly back to Tinker Bell.
- Fly to Havendish Square and enter The Tearoom. Return to Tinker Bell.
- Gather 25 Bits of Metal and bring them to Tinker Bell.
- Pick your reward and the quest is over.
In Depth Quest Guide
This is a full walk through for the quest, so if you're confused by any of the quick steps, hopefully these can help you out.
Head over to Tinker's Nook in Cottonpuff Field and ask Tinker Bell if she has any quests. The quest should pop up immediately and you'll be able to begin. Upon starting the quest, Tink will greet you:
Tinker Bell: "Fairyname here! Back again, huh? That’s good, because it’s time for you to learn your next Talent Skill, ILLUMINATE!"
"So far you’ve learned Fix, Move, Distract, and Heal. Illuminate is perfect for your next skill! I mean really -- who doesn’t need LIGHT?"
"So are you ready to learn Illuminate?"
Step 1
Accept this Quest?Tinker Bell: "Flitterific! Okay, lesson one -- we tinkers always need lots of light, especially if we’re working with a Tinkering Glass on something really small."
"The Illuminate Talent Skill can give you that extra little bit of light! So lots of light and a strong Tinkering Glass are a tinker’s best friends."
"Why don’t you flap over to Treetop Housewares and get a good Tinkering Glass?"
Fly to Treetop Housewares in Treetop Bend and get a Tinkering Glass. Bring it to Tinker's Nook in Cottonpuff Field when you are done!

Story So Far
Tinker Bell is teaching you your fifth Talent Skill, Illuminate. Show her that you understand the importance of good lighting by getting a Tinkering Glass at Treetop Housewares!
Your first task is to go shopping! Fly over to Treetop Bend and enter Treetop Housewares. Purchase a Tinkering Glass, return to Tinker Bell and give it to her.
Step 2
I got a Tinkering Glass from Treetop Housewares!Tinker Bell: "Perfect! We’ll put this to good use here in Tinker’s Nook. Now on to lesson two -- using Illuminate to FIND things!"
"You know me -- sometimes I sort of lose things in the Sorting Station. Once in a while. UGH. Okay okay, I lose things in the Sorting Station a lot."
"But I can use Illuminate to find things more easily. Let’s fly to the Sorting Station and find my wood chisel that I ... um ... misplaced."
Fly to Cottonpuff Field. Earn 8,000 points playing Tinker Toss in the Sorting Station. Return to Tinker's Nook in Cottonpuff Field when you are done!

Story So Far
Tinker Bell is teaching you your fifth Talent Skill, Illuminate. Show her that you understand how important it is to find things by helping her search the Sorting Station!
Flit across to the other side of Cottonpuff Field and play Tinker Toss until you reach a score of at least 8,000 points (whether in one shot or cumulative). Once you're done, go back and see Tinker Bell.
Step 3
I found Tink’s wood chisel in the Sorting Station!Tinker Bell: "Great! Let’s move on to lesson three -- finding things in the meadows!"
"Illuminate can help you find Twigs and Acorns and Snowflakes and whatever else you’re looking for."
"Fly to Snowcap Glade and see if you can find something unusual -- purple leaves!"
Fly to Snowcap Glade and look for purple leaves. Return to Tinker's Nook in Cottonpuff Field when you are done!

Tinker Bell is teaching you your fifth Talent Skill, Illuminate. Show her that you can find things by finding purple leaves in the Snowcap Glade meadow!
When you are finished talking to Tink, fly to Snowcap Glade. Simply enter the meadow to complete this task. Then return to Tinker Bell.
Step 4
I looked around the Snowcap Glade meadow!Tinker Bell: "Did you find the purple leaves? Flaptastic job!"
"We tinkers are always INVESTIGATING new building materials or seeing if some new thing can be used to make tools or helpful gadgets."
"Show me how good you are at investigating. Go help the Minister of Winter gather snowflakes in Blustery Brush."
"While you’re there, watch to see what kind of bird flies away with each pouch you fill with snowflakes. It’s always the same bird, but what kind?"
Fly to Evergreen Overlook. Earn 5,000 points playing Snowflake Sweep in Blustery Brush. Return to Tinker's Nook in Cottonpuff Field when you are done!

Story So Far
Tinker Bell is teaching you your fifth Talent Skill, Illuminate. Show her that you can investigate by figuring out what kind of bird carries away the pouches you fill with snowflakes in Blustery Brush!
Another talent game to play! Flap up to Evergreen Overlook and play Snowflake Sweep until you reach a score of at least 5,000 points (whether in one shot or cumulative). Once you're done, go back and see Tink.
Step 5
I investigated the bird in Blustery Brush!Tinker Bell: "What kind of bird is it? A Bluebird? Right!"
"Hm, but maybe I should be sure you REALLY know your stuff when it comes to investigating ..."
"I know! This will be a fun challenge -- fly to The Tearoom and count how many feathers there are!"
Fly to The Tearoom and count all the feathers you see. Return to Tinker's Nook in Cottonpuff Field when you are done!

Story So Far
Tinker Bell is teaching you your fifth Talent Skill, Illuminate. Show her that you can investigate by counting all the feathers in The Tearoom!
When you are finished talking to Tink, fly to Havendish Square and enter The Tearoom. Simply enter the room to complete this task. Then return to Tinker Bell.
Step 6
I investigated The Tearoom!Tinker Bell: "How many feathers did you find? Fifteen? That’s right! Flaptastic! The one hidden in the painting is tricky, isn’t it?"
"Your last lesson is about WARMING things. You can use Illuminate to make objects warm -- not as well as light-talents can, but pretty well."
"Say you want to make a copper teacup or some metal thread. Use Illuminate to warm a Bit of Metal, and the metal becomes bendable!"
"Of course, that means you have to be good at finding metal in the first place. Fly into the Wilderness and find some Bits of Metal!"
Fly to Pumpkin Patch and enter the Silver Trees Wilderness. Find 25 Bits of Metal. Return to Tinker's Nook in Cottonpuff Field when you are done!

Story So Far
Tinker Bell is teaching you your fifth Talent Skill, Illuminate. Show her that you understand the importance of warming by finding Bits of Metal in the Wilderness!
This next step is a gathering task. To fulfill the requirement, you will need 25 Bits of Metal. If you don’t have the 25 needed already, fly to the Wilderness areas and Go Scouting. Once you have acquired the necessary amount, head on back to Tink and give them to her.
Your Reward
I have Bits of Metal for Tinker Bell!Tinker Bell: "Flaptastic, Fairyname here! You’ve done it! You’ve earned your fifth Talent Skill, ILLUMINATE! Congratulations!"
"You know what comes next -- practice! Be sure to scout out the Wilderness and practice ALL your Talent Skills! I mean now! Go on, flap to it!"
You will now be able to perform the Talent Skill Illuminate in all wilderness areas of Pixie Hollow.
