Back to the Pixie Hollow Quests for all Players page Iridessa’s Color Calamity is a quest you can get from Iridessa. Upon completion, you will receive a Sweet Tea Light Marigold Yellow. Prerequisites: No current prerequisites. Prior to 4 September 2009 Welcome to Pixie Hollow had to be completed. Released: 26 March 2009

Quick Quest Guide

This Quest has 13 steps.

What you will need: 15 Blueberries, 20 Honeycombs and 20 Raspberries

Quick Steps

• Fly over to Iridessa’s Glade and ask her if she has any quests. Pick Iridessa’s Color Calamity.
• Gather 15 Blueberries and give them to Iridessa.
• Fly to Tinker's Nook to see Tink.
• Fly to Fawn's Hideout to see Fawn.
• Fly back to Tink and give her the shell cutter from Fawn.
• Collect 20 Honeycombs and give them to Tink.
• Return to Iridessa and give her the blueberry peel.
• Head back over to Fawn's Hideout.
• Play Harvest Hustle and earn a score of 10,000 points. Return to Fawn when completed.
• Revisit Iridessa in her Glade.
• Gather 20 Raspberries and give them to Iridessa.
• Play Petal Pick-Up and earn a score of 5,000 points. Return to Iridessa when you are done.
• Fly back to Fawn's Hideout to see Fawn.
• Fly back to Iridessa's Glade, again, and give her the green feather.
• Pick your reward and the quest is over.

In Depth Quest Guide

This is a full walk through for the quest, so if you're confused by any of the quick steps, hopefully these can help you out.

Stop by Iridessa’s Glade in Sunflower Gully and ask her if she has any quests. The quest should pop up immediately and you'll be able to begin. Upon starting the quest, Dessa will greet you:

Iridessa: "Fairyname here! Hi! I’ve been wondering when you’d get a chance to visit again."
"Isn’t my sunflower field just looking so -- so -- sunshiny?"
"Oh! Oh! I have a surprise for you! Okay, just stay right there. Don’t move, just watch!"
"..."
"Oh no!"
"I don’t believe this. I do NOT believe this! I was going to make you a welcome rainbow, but I’ve run out of colors!"
"Sometimes light-talents get Color Drain if we make too many rainbows in a really short time. I’ve been practicing a lot for your rainbow -- I guess I got drained!"
"I know what to do, though. Would you mind helping me?"

Step 1

Accept this Quest?

Accept quest and Iridessa will explain the quest.

Iridessa: "Great! I need to fill myself up with the three primary colors of light. Those are blue, green and red."
"Let’s start with blue. Can you get me some Blueberries?"

Gather 15 Blueberries and bring them to Iridessa's Glade in Sunflower Gully.

Story So Far

Iridessa has run out of colors, and you’re helping her fill herself back up with blue, green and red. Blue is first. You need to gather some Blueberries.

So, once you're finished talking to Dessa, it's time to gather up some Blueberries, if you don't have 15 already. Once you get the 15 Blueberries needed, head on back to Iridessa and talk to her.

Step 2

I’ve got Blueberries for Iridessa!

Iridessa: "Excellent! Now we need to peel one. Blueberry peels are very thin, so getting them off in one piece is tricky. I can’t do it, but Tinker Bell can!"
"Take the Blueberries to her and ask if she can peel one. She might need the extras in case the peel tears while coming off."

Fly to Tinker's Nook. You get there from Cottonpuff Field.

Story So Far

Iridessa has run out of primary colors, and you’re helping her fill herself back up with blue, green and red. Blue is first. You need to take the Blueberries you gathered to Tinker Bell.

Head over to Tinker’s Nook and speak with Tinker Bell.

Step 3

I’m going to see Tinker Bell!

Tinker Bell: "Hi, Fairyname here! What’s flappin’?"
"I love to peel Blueberries! It’s such a challenge! Here, put the Blueberries down and I’ll get to work right away!"
"Oops. I forgot. Fawn’s got my shell cutter -- it’s what I use to peel Blueberries. Can you get it for me?"

Fly to Fawn's Hideout! You can get there from Maple Tree Hill.

Story So Far

Iridessa has run out of primary colors, and you’re helping her fill herself back up with blue, green and red. Blue is first. You need to get Tinker Bell’s shell cutter from Fawn so that Tink can peel a Blueberry.

Now flap on over to Fawn’s Hideout in Maple Tree Hill and ask Fawn for the shell cutter.

Step 4

I’m going to visit Fawn!

Fawn: "Hi, chickadee! Wow, isn’t it a beautiful day? Perfect for teachin’ birds to fly, ya know."
"Oh, Tink needs her shell cutter back? Sure! I just finished using it to sharpen up Herman’s nails."
"He’s a mole. Has to dig a lot. Needs sharp nails."
"It’s around here somewhere ..."
"Here ya go. Tell Tink thanks for letting me use it!"

Fly to Tinker's Nook. You can get there from Cottonpuff Field.

Story So Far

Iridessa has run out of primary colors, and you’re helping her fill herself back up with blue, green and red. Blue is first. You need to bring Tinker Bell’s shell cutter back to her so she can peel a Blueberry.

Return to Tinker’s Nook to hand the shell cutter over to Tink.

Step 5

I’ve got Tinker Bell’s shell cutter!

Tinker Bell: "Thanks, Fairyname here!"
"Hey, while I peel a Blueberry, can you do me a favor?"
"I need something sticky to glue some bark pieces together for a project and I think honey would work perfectly! Can you gather some Honeycombs for me?"

Gather 20 Honeycombs and bring them to Tinker's Nook in Cottonpuff Field.

Story So Far

Iridessa has run out of primary colors, and you’re helping her fill herself back up with blue, green and red. Blue is first. While Tinker Bell peels a Blueberry for Iridessa, you need to get Tink some Honeycombs.

So, once you're finished talking to Tink, it's time to gather up some Honeycombs, if you don't have 20 already. Once you get the 20 Honeycombs needed, fly back to Tinker Bell and talk to her.

Step 6

I have Honeycombs for Tinker Bell!

Tinker Bell: "Ooo, nice and sticky! Thanks!"
"Well, I got the job done on my first try! Here’s a perfect blueberry peel. Oh, do you mind if I keep the other Blueberries? I want to keep my peeling skills sharp!"
"Thanks. Say hi to Iridessa for me!"

Fly to Iridessa's Glade! You can get there from Sunflower Gully.

Story So Far

Iridessa has run out of primary colors, and you’re helping her fill herself back up with blue, green and red. Blue is first. Tinker Bell peeled a Blueberry, so now you need to bring the peel to Iridessa.

Now that you have the blueberry peel, you need to return to Dessa to give it to her.

Step 7

I have a blueberry peel for Iridessa!

Iridessa: "Wow! Tink got the peel on her first try? Flickerific!"
"Okay, when the sun shines through this blueberry peel, the light will turn blue. All I have to do is soak it up!"
"I’ll need to soak for awhile, so why don’t you help me get ready for green? We’ll need a green tail feather from a Shimmer Jay. Ask Fawn if she has one."

Fly to Fawn's Hideout! You can get there from Maple Tree Hill.

Story So Far

Iridessa has run out of primary colors, and you’re helping her fill herself back up with blue, green and red. She’s already soaking up blue light. Now you need to ask Fawn if she has a green feather.

While Dessa is busy soaking up all that blue light, fly over to Fawn’s Hideout -- you’re looking for a green feather from her.

Step 8

I’m visiting Fawn again!

Fawn: "Jumpin’ jackrabbits, you’re busy today, aren’tcha?"
"Iridessa needs a green tail feather from a Shimmer Jay? I don’t have one and, uh, they’re not easy to get. But we can try!"
"Let’s see if we can lure one here with food. Knothole Pantry is stuffed with berries and nuts that Shimmer Jays like. Let’s go there and get some."
"You fly on ahead, I’ll meet ya there."

Fly to Pumpkin Patch. Earn 10,000 points playing Harvest Hustle in Knothole Pantry. Return to Fawn's Hideout in Maple Tree Hill when you are done!

Story So Far

Iridessa has run out of primary colors, and you’re helping her fill herself back up with blue, green and red. She’s already soaking up blue light, so that color is done. Now you need to help Fawn get a green feather.

Play Harvest Hustle in Pumpkin Patch. Once you get the score of 10,000 points needed (whether in one shot or cumulative), quit the game or play until you finish then return to Fawn.

Step 9

I’ve got bird food for Fawn!

Fawn: "Yup, this is a good assortment of Shimmer Jay goodies. I’ll put them out in a chestnut bowl and we’ll see what happens."
"This may take awhile, so maybe you should go tell Iridessa. I’ll send a message if I get the feather, okay?"

Fly to Iridessa's Glade! You can get there from Sunflower Gully.

Story So Far

Iridessa has run out of primary colors, and you’re helping her fill herself back up with blue, green and red. Blue is done, so now you’re flying to tell her that Fawn is trying to get her a green feather.

Time to fly back to Sunflower Gully and visit Iridessa in her Glade.

Step 10

I’m checking back with Iridessa!

Iridessa: "Back so soon? Did Fawn have the feather?"
"Oh, I see. Well, I sure hope a Shimmer Jay shows up soon!"
"I think I soaked up enough blue light, so why don’t we start preparing for the last color? For red, I need concentrated Autumn Twilight."
"But it’s not sunset yet. I think a super-red pixie dust mix will work."
"I’ll go ask Rosetta for the darkest red petals she’s got. Can you gather some Raspberries? Let’s meet back here."

Gather 20 Raspberries and bring them to Iridessa's Glade in Sunflower Gully.

Story So Far

Iridessa has run out of primary colors, and you’re helping her fill herself back up with blue, green and red. Blue is done, and you’re waiting for a green feather. For red, you need to gather Raspberries.

It's time to gather up some Raspberries, if you don't have 20 already. Once you get the 20 Raspberries needed, head on back to Iridessa and talk to her.

Step 11

I have Raspberries for Iridessa!

Iridessa: "You found Raspberries? Excellent!"
"Rosetta said she could use your help to gather red petals up in Whispering Winds. While I prep the Raspberries, can you go lend her a hand?"

Fly to Cherryblossom Heights. Earn 5,000 points playing Petal Pick-Up in Whispering Winds. Return to Iridessa's Glade in Sunflower Gully when you are done!

Story So Far

Iridessa has run out of primary colors, and you’re helping her fill herself back up with blue, green and red. Blue is done, and you’re waiting for a green feather. For red, you’ve already collected Raspberries. Now you need to help Rosetta gather some red flower petals.

Play Petal Pick-Up in Cherryblossom Heights. Once you get the score of 5,000 points needed (whether in one shot or cumulative), quit the game or play until you finish then return to Iridessa.

Step 12

I have red petals for Iridessa!

Iridessa: "These are perfect! This ought to be interesting -- I’ve never made red like this before!"
"Okay, sprinkle in some pixie dust to mix the red of the petals and the Raspberries together ..."
"Wow, this red is really...RED!"
"Believe it or not, all I have to do is put one finger into the mix and soak it up."
"Can you go check on Fawn while I do this? Let’s hope she’s got a Shimmer Jay feather!"

Fly to Fawn's Hideout! You can get there from Maple Tree Hill.

Story So Far

Iridessa has run out of primary colors, and you’re helping her fill herself back up with blue, green and red. Blue and red are done. You need to go see Fawn and hope she’s found a green feather.

Flap your wings back over to see Fawn. Ask her if she has found a green Shimmer Jay feather.

Step 13

I’m visiting Fawn! Again!

Fawn: "I was just going to send you a messenger-talent with the news! A Shimmer Jay showed up, and he let me take one of his tail feathers!"
"It was so exciting! I’ve never met this Shimmer before. His name was Glider. He was an awful nice guy."
"Anyhoo, here’s the feather. It’s pretty big, so fly carefully!"

Fly to Iridessa's Glade! You can get there from Sunflower Gully.

Iridessa has run out of primary colors, and you’re helping her fill herself back up with blue, green and red. Blue and red are done, and you just got a green feather for the final color.

It’s time to make your final visit to Iridessa. Bring the green tail feather from the Shimmer Jay to her.

Your Reward

I’ve got the Shimmer Jay feather for Iridessa!

Iridessa: "Whoa, that’s one looooong feather! How did you ever fly with this thing?"
"You know that Shimmer Jays are very magical, right? Well, all I need to do is use the feather to stir a thimble full of pixie dust."
"The Shimmer Jay’s magic will go from the feather to the pixie dust, turning it green. Then I’ll sprinkle the pixie dust on myself!"
"Just give me a minute ..."
"Okay -- here’s your welcome rainbow finally!"
"Welcome to Pixie Hollow, Fairyname here!"
"And, since you can’t take the whole rainbow with you as a gift, here’s a little light for your Fairy home!"
"Thanks for all your help, sunshine!"
