Removal of the Pirate Rug
Should the pirate rug have been removed from this section? It came out Halloween 2005 along with the Pumpkin Mickey, Web Divider, Skeleton Chair, and Chernabog Rug...While it may seem less "Halloweenish" than the others, its release date coincides with Halloween as can be seen here. Hard to figure out since it was not retired when the rest of the Halloween items were...and is still being sold...I would say not a Halloween item. It might have been released at the same time but I think that wehn grouping items according to theme, it should be a pirate item rather than a Halloween item, IMHO. SM
Do we need it?
Should we change this page to just holiday items? I think yes. --Schmoofy 17:41, 26 October 2006 (CDT)
I'm mixed. On one hand, the holiday items can easily get their own pages for the individual months (for example Halloween Month). On the other hand, we can certainly group themes by themselves as well. --Prisoner 08:38, 29 October 2006 (CST)
How to include?
Schmoofy, I noticed that you used my tron includes for the tron section, but didn't use the halloween includes for the halloween section. For good reason - you're including extra info. My questions:
- Do we want to include this information (somehow) everywhere?
- Do we want to use the includes?
My original thought with the includes was that clicking on the picture would (somehow) go to the individual item page (or the image page, with additional information). At least some of this would be all the places its included (so it would list that the tron stuff was in both tron month, in their individual categories, and in the "special stuff" page), but I couldn't figure out a good way to actually pull that off without lots of extra work.
But I really want to be able to create item entries once, and have them show up on many pages where they make sense. (See, for example, what the Tron Month and Halloween Month pages look like.)

Organization of Theme pages
Just wanted to get some imput on some ideas....- To me, the separate Blizzard Beach and a Typhoon Lagoon pages seem to be too narrow to be themes. I was thinking it would be better to combine these into one Water Park Theme page and then within the page itself separate the items based on whether they are Blizzard Beach or Typhoon Lagoon. This way we can include waterslide tracks on this page as well.
- Also, in general with the theme pages, do we want to make separate sections for every item type such as Furniture, Pins, Posters, Clothing, Ride Pieces, Guest Rooms? Some of the pages are already kinda separated like this, and for consistency it would be good to figure out the best format for these pages. Personally, I think this may help with organization and allow us to display the items better and allow for a more thourough theme. (If this is the case, we should also probably move the Holiday/Event/Theme link out of the Furniture section and into Inventory in general...or some better place).

Test Track Theme?
Should we have a Test Track Theme page created for all the new Test Track items that came out today? --Haveamagicalday (Talk | Contributions) 16:22, 10 May 2008 (PDT)
I don't see why we shouldn't. You notice that we already have a Tower of Terror Theme made for the TCG TOT items that were released. Albeit this is not pressing, making sure the pages are in and are correct takes precedence, but making the page is fine so long as it is done correctly. Many of these pages and other Inventory pages are out of date anyways and so we will be getting around to updating these pages sooner or later.--UpInTheAir 16:28, 10 May 2008 (PDT)
Nemo Theme
Could we possibly make a Finding Nemo theme? Taking away the nemo pins from the 'underwater theme' and adding the furniture + clothes, it would create a neccesary topic. Also, about the Lilo+Stitch items they released (ex. LP chair), would those be put under the 'stitch theme', or would we create a 'lilo and stitch' theme. ~Polar (GoodPolarGirl)
Oops, must have completely missed this. By the way polar, to sign your entries and have the date/time included, use --~~~~ (there is also a button that does this for you on the editing toolbar, it's the second to last button that looks like a signature scribble and reads "Your signature with timestamp" when you hover your mouse over it :) Helps us to know when comments were left without checking the page history.
With regards to your questions, I'd say, keep Nemo items in the underwater theme, but make a new Finding Nemo theme as well. There is no problem with items overlapping between themes. Also, I'll just change the Stitch theme to a Lilo and Stitch theme and that way it makes sense to add the Lilo and Stitch items as well. Thanks for bringing this up.--UpInTheAir 12:44, 3 July 2008 (PDT)
I'll make sure to keep the items on the underwater page as well :) --GoodPolarGirl 12:53, 3 July 2008 (PDT)
Let me know if you need any help with making the Finding Nemo Theme page. We have been using DPL (Dynamic Page Lists) to create the list of themes seen on the Holiday/Event/Theme page. This means that all you have to do to include the new theme page onto the list of themes would be to make sure you categorize the page as being "Theme" by putting [[Category:Theme]] on the page (I usually put this at the bottom of the page). To create the page itself, you can just create a link to the page that doesn't exist yet and click on it to create the page. For example click Finding Nemo Theme to start making the Finding Nemo theme page.--UpInTheAir 13:02, 3 July 2008 (PDT)
