Quick Quest Guide

What you will need: 6 blades of Meadow Grass

Quick Steps

• Go to Silvermist's Grotto and ask if she has any quests. Pick Getting Colorful.
• Go to Bobbin's Tailoring Nook in Springtime Orchard and tailor any shirt in either a red or pink shade in Community tailoring.
• Head back over to Silvermist to give her the shirt.
• Go to Bobbin's Tailoring Nook in Springtime Orchard and tailor any skirt in either a green or blue shade in Community tailoring.
• Head back over to Silvermist to give her the skirt.
• Go to Mendy's Tailoring Nook in Maple Tree Hill and tailor any pair of shoes in either a orange or yellow shade in Community tailoring.
• Head back over to Silvermist to give her the shoes.
• Go to Mendy's Tailoring Nook in Maple Tree Hill and tailor a sash/belt in whichever color you did the shoes in Community tailoring.
• Head back over to Silvermist to give her the belt/sash.
• Gather up 6 blades of Meadow Grass and give them to Silvermist.
• Pick your reward and the quest is over.

In Depth Quest Guide

This is a full walk through for the quest, so if you're confused by any of the quick steps, hopefully these can help you out.

Head over to Silvermist's Grotto in Dewdrop Vale and ask her if she has any quests. The quest should pop up immediately and you'll be able to begin. Upon starting the quest, Silvermist will greet you:

Silvermist: "Fairyname Here! I was looking for you! A friend of mine, Trickle Frostwave, could use some help, and you're just the fairy she needs!" "Trickle is another water-talent. She and I work together to design the swirls and ripple patterns that go on frozen ponds during the winter on the Mainland. But lately she's been having trouble with her work." "I think she just needs a little inspiration, like a beautiful new outfit! But...well, the truth is...I'm a terrible tailor. Can you help me make an outfit that will inspire her?"

Step 1

Silvermist: "Whew, that's good! I was really hoping you'd say yes!" "My plan is to put a little color in Trickle's life. She could use a new energetic look, you know? She tends to wear dull colors, and she's kind of shy, so let's give her some pizzazz!" "Can you make her a fashionable new top? Maybe something red or pink? Go visit Bobbin at her tailoring Nook in Springtime Orchard and give it a try!"

Fly to Bobbin's Tailoring Nook in Springtime Orchard and Community Tailor a colorful top. Return to Silvermist in her grotto when you're done!!

Story So Far

Silvermist needs your help to make a colorful new outfit for her water-talent friend, Trickle Frostwave.

So, once you're finished talking to Silvermist, head on over to Bobbin's Tailoring Nook. Make sure you sew the shirt either in a red or pink shade AND in community tailoring or it won't count! When you're finished, go back to Silvermist.

Step 2

Silvermist: "Wow, that looks really nice! You could be a sewing-talent!" "Now we need a skirt to go with it. Green or blue would be good colors, don't you think?"

Fly to Bobbin's Tailoring Nook in Springtime Orchard and Community Tailor a colorful skirt. Return to Silvermist in her grotto when you're done!!

Story So Far

Silvermist needs your help to make a colorful new outfit for her water-talent friend, Trickle Frostwave. So far you've made Trickle a new top.

So, once you're finished talking to Silvermist, head on over to Bobbin's Tailoring Nook again. Make sure you sew the skirt either in a green or blue shade AND in community tailoring or it won't count! When you're finished, go back to Silvermist once again.

Step 3

Silvermist: "Oh, I'm getting all teary! This came out even better than I'd hoped. *SNIFF* Bobbin must be so impressed with you!" "I was hoping you'd make Trickle a pair of new shoes, too. After all, what's a new outfit without new shoes?" "If you visit Mendy at her tailoring nook in Maple Tree Hill, she can help you make a pair. Maybe they could be orange or yellow?"

Fly to Mendy's Tailoring Nook in Maple Tree Hill and Community Tailor a colorful pair of shoes. Return to Silvermist in her grotto when you're done!!

Step 4

Silvermist: "Fairyname Here, you're really good at tailoring shoes, too! Maybe later I'll ask you to make ME a pair!" "One last thing to finish Trickle's new outfit. Can you make a sash to match the new shoes?"

Fly to Mendy's Tailoring Nook in Maple Tree Hill and Community Tailor a colorful sash. Return to Silvermist in her grotto when you're done!!

Step 5

Silvermist: "Oh my goodness, this sash matches the shoes perfectly! I'm so excited!" "One last thing -- whoever heard of a gift that isn't tied up with a Meadow Grass ribbon?"

Collect 6 blades of Meadow Grass for Silvermist. Progress: # of 6

Story So Far

Silvermist needs your help to make a colorful new outfit for her water-talent friend, Trickle Frostwave.You've made Trickle a new top, skirt, shoes, and a sash! Now Silvermist just needs a ribbon to tie the gift up into a nice package.

Gather up 6 blades of Meadow Grass if you don't have enough and then talk to Silvermist. If you have the 6 already, just talk to her again to finish the quest!

Silvermist: "Perfect! I'll wrap everything up and fly it over to Trickle right away!" "How's this message for the card? "Dear Trickle, we hope the colors in your new outfit inspire you! Love, Fairyname Here and Silvermist." "Of course your name is on the card, silly! I couldn't have done any of this without you! I just know Trickle will get her inspiration back in no time!" "And...well, I already told you I'm not very good at crafts and stuff...but I thought you might want a colorful outfit for yourself so..." "Make yourself something bright and colorful at one of the tailoring nooks!"

Your Reward

You get a choice of two bottles of one of three different dyes shown below. You also unlock the following quests upon completion: The Bubble Top Slipper Story and Advice For Silvermist.
