Getting Colorful (Quest) — Disneys Online Worlds

Getting Colorful is a quest you can get from Silvermist. Upon completion, you will have a choice of receiving two bottles of one of the following dyes: Bottle of Persimmon Orange Dye, Bottle of Crimson Red Dye, or Bottle of Marigold Yellow Dye.

Prerequisites: Making Rain must be completed.

Quick Steps

Go to Silvermist's Grotto and ask if she has any quests. Pick Getting Colorful.
Go to Bobbin's Tailoring Nook in Springtime Orchard and Community Tailor any shirt in any color. Return to Silvermist.
Fly back to Bobbin's Tailoring Nook and Community Tailor any skirt in any color. Return to Silvermist.
Go to Mendy's Tailoring Nook in Maple Tree Hill and Community Tailor any pair of shoes in any color. Return to Silvermist.
Fly back to Mendy's Tailoring Nook and Community Tailor any sash/belt in any color. Return to Silvermist.
Gather 6 Meadow Grass and give them to Silvermist.
Pick your reward and the quest is over.

In Depth Quest Guide

This is a full walk through for the quest, so if you're confused by any of the quick steps, hopefully these can help you out.

Head over to Silvermist's Grotto in Dewdrop Vale and ask her if she has any quests. If you have finished the quest Making Rain, the quest should appear in the list of quests you may do and you can begin immediately. Upon starting the quest, Silvermist will greet you:

Silvermist: "Fairyname Here! I was looking for you! A friend of mine, Trickle Frostwave, could use some help, and you're just the Fairy she needs!"
"Trickle is another water-talent. She and I work together to design the swirls and ripple patterns that go on frozen ponds during the winter on the mainland. But lately she's been having trouble with her work."
"I think she just needs a little inspiration, like a beautiful new outfit! But... well, the truth is... I'm a terrible tailor. Can you help me make an outfit that will inspire her?"

Step 1

Accept this Quest?

Once you agree, Silvermist is thrilled and gives you the first step.

Silvermist: "Whew, that's good! I was really hoping you'd say yes!"
"My plan is to put a little color in Trickle's life. She could use a new energetic look, you know? She tends to wear dull colors, and she's kind of shy, so let's give her some pizzazz!"
"Can you make her a fashionable new top? Maybe something red or pink? Go visit Bobbin at her Tailoring Nook in Springtime Orchard and give it a try!"

Fly to Bobbin's Tailoring Nook in Springtime Orchard. Use Community Tailoring to make any top you choose. Return to Silvermist's Grotto in Dewdrop Vale when you are done!!

Story So Far

Silvermist needs your help to make a colorful new outfit for her water-talent friend, Trickle Frostwave.

Once you're finished talking to Silvermist, head on over to Bobbin's Tailoring Nook in Springtime Orchard. Choose Community Tailoring and make a shirt. It doesn't matter which shirt you make. And even though Sil asks you to make the top in red or pink, it doesn’t matter the color you choose either. Once you finish tailoring, return to Silvermist.

Step 2

I’m showing Silvermist the top I made!

Silvermist: "Wow, that looks really nice! You could be a sewing-talent!"
"Now we need a skirt to go with it. Green or blue would be good colors, don't you think?"

Fly to Bobbin's Tailoring Nook in Springtime Orchard. Use Community Tailoring to make any skirt you choose. Return to Silvermist's Grotto in Dewdrop Vale when you are done!!

Story So Far

Silvermist needs your help to make a colorful new outfit for her water-talent friend, Trickle Frostwave. So far you've made Trickle a new top.

Flap back to Bobbin's Tailoring Nook. Choose Community Tailoring and make a shirt. It doesn't matter which skirt you make. And even though Sil asks you to make the bottom in blue or green, it doesn’t matter the color you choose either. Once you finish tailoring, return to Silvermist.

Step 3

I’m showing Silvermist the skirt I made!

Silvermist: "Oh, I'm getting all teary! This came out even better than I'd hoped. *SNIFF* Bobbin must be so impressed with you!"
"I was hoping you'd make Trickle a pair of shoes, too. After all, what's a new outfit without new shoes?"
"If you visit Mendy at her Tailoring Nook in Maple Tree Hill, she can help you make a pair. Maybe they could be green or yellow?"

Fly to Mendy's Tailoring Nook in Maple Tree Hill. Use Community Tailoring to make any pair of shoes you choose. Return to Silvermist's Grotto in Dewdrop Vale when you are done!!

Now you need to fly to the Hollow’s other tailoring nook, Mendy’s! It is located in Maple Tree Hill. Choose Community Tailoring and make a pair of shoes. It doesn't matter which shoes you make. And even though Sil asks you to make the shoes in yellow or green, it doesn’t matter the color you choose either. Once you finish tailoring, return to Silvermist.

Step 4

I’m showing Silvermist the shoes I made!

Silvermist: "Fairyname Here, you're really good at tailoring shoes, too! Maybe later I'll ask you to make ME a pair!"
"One last thing to finish Trickle's new outfit. Can you make a sash to match the new shoes?"

Fly to Mendy's Tailoring Nook in Maple Tree Hill. Use Community Tailoring to make any sash you choose. Return to Silvermist's Grotto in Dewdrop Vale when you are done!!

Gather 6 Meadow Grass and bring them to Silvermist's Grotto in Dewdrop Vale.

Story So Far

Silvermist needs your help to make a colorful new outfit for her water-talent friend, Trickle Frostwave. You've made Trickle a new top, skirt, shoes, and a sash! Now Silvermist just needs a ribbon to tie the gift up into a nice package.

It’s time to gather up some Meadow Grass, if you don’t have 6 already. Once you get the required 6 Meadow Grass, return to Sil and give them to her.

Silvermist: "Perfect! I'll wrap everything up and fly it over to Trickle right away!"
"How's this message for the card? "Dear Trickle, we hope the colors in your new outfit inspire you! Love, Fairyname Here and Silvermist.""
"Of course your name is on the card, silly! I couldn't have done any of this without you! I just know Trickle will get her inspiration back in no time!"
"And... well, I already told you I'm not very good at crafts and stuff... but I thought you might want a colorful outfit for yourself so..."
"Make yourself something bright and colorful at one of the Tailoring Nooks!"

You get a choice of three different dyes shown below. You will receive 2 bottles of whichever color of dye you choose. You also unlock the following quests upon completion: The Bubble Top Slipper Story, Advice For Silvermist and Sculpture Supplies.
