Quick Quest Guide
This Quest has 9 steps.What you will need: 20 Lily Petals (to purchase 1 Bottle of Hydrangea Blue Dye), 20 Sunflower Seeds, 25 Buttercup Petals, 25 Sunflower Seeds (to purchase 1 Rosy Pink Crocus Bulb Pitcher) and 10 Lily Petals. You will also need enough ingredients to Personal Tailor any top you choose.
Quick Steps
- Go to Rosetta's Garden and ask if she has any quests. Pick Flapping Contest.
- Earn a score of 10,000 points on Snowflake Sweep and return to Rosetta.
- Fly to Bobbin's Tailoring Nook in Springtime Orchard and Personal Tailor any top you like using Hydrangea Blue Dye, then return to Rosetta.
- Gather 20 Sunflower Seeds and give them to Rosetta.
- Gather 25 Buttercup Petals and give them to Rosetta.
- Go to Harmony's Home Collections in Neverberry Thicket and buy a Crocus Bulb Pitcher for Rosetta.
- Fly to Silvermist's Grotto in Dewdrop Vale and talk to Silvermist.
- Gather 10 Lily Petals and give them to Silvermist.
- Earn a score of 10,000 points on Water Web and return to Silvermist.
- Return to Rosetta.
- Pick your reward and the quest is over.
In Depth Quest Guide
This is a full walk through for the quest, so if you're confused by any of the quick steps, hopefully these can help you out.
Head over to Rosetta's Garden in Cherryblossom Heights and ask her if she has any quests. If you have finished the quest Staring Contest, the quest should appear in the list of quests you may do and you can begin the quest immediately. Upon starting the quest, Rosetta will greet you:
Rosetta: "Guess what, Pixie Name Here? After all your hard work coaching me for the starin' contest -- I DIDN'T WIN! Can you believe it? Lily won."
"Of course, Lily can out-stare an oak tree, so I suppose she deserved to win. So you know what I did? I challenged her and Iris to a flappin' contest!"
"You don't know about Pollen Flappin', do you? Okay, one of the things we garden-talents do is spread pollen where it's needed. We do that by Pollen Flappin'."
"It's a special sort of flying where we flap our wings real hard but don't go anywhere -- we just spread pollen around."
"If I'm gonna win this contest, I need some serious Flap Training. I'd like you to be my coach again -- my Flap Coach! How about it, sugar?"
Step 1
Accept this Quest?Once you agree, Rosetta is thrilled and gives you the first step.
Rosetta: "Plant-astic! I knew I could count on you!"
"The first thing to do is fly against a real tricky wind. That's a guaranteed wing strengthening exercise!"
"Let’s try Blustery Brush. The wind is always a bit fiddly up there. An’ we can catch snowflakes for the Minister of Winter, too!"
"Little beauty tip -- snowflakes are THE secret for gettin' rid of unsightly wrinkles! Now flap over to Blustery Brush!"
Fly to Evergreen Overlook. Earn 10,000 points playing Snowflake Sweep in Blustery Brush. Return to Rosetta's Garden in Cherryblossom Heights when you are done!

Story So Far
Rosetta is training for a Flapping Contest, and you are her Flap Coach. Go catch snowflakes with the Minister of Winter in Blustery Brush!
Flit over to Evergreen Overlook and enter Blustery Brush. Play Snowflake Sweep until you reach a score of 10,000 points (whether in one shot or cumulative). When you are finished playing, return to Rosetta.
Step 2
I caught snowflakes in Blustery Brush!Rosetta: "Phew! That was some workout, sugarplum! My wings need a good rest! While I relax a bit, can I ask a favor?"
"For the contest, I want to wear a top that will let my wings move as quick as possible."
"You know those tops over at Bobbin's Tailoring Nook? That's what I'm lookin' for. Would you make me one, sugar? Any style will do if you dye it Hydrangea Blue!"
Fly to Bobbin's Tailoring Nook in Springtime Orchard. Use Personal Tailoring to make any top you like. Use Hydrangea Blue Dye from Daisys Dyes in Cherryblossom Heights. Fly to Rosetta's Garden in Cherryblossom Heights and give this item to Rosetta when you are done!

Story So Far
Rosetta is training for a Flapping Contest, and you are her Flap Coach. Go tailor her any top you like in Hydrangea Blue at Bobbin’s Tailoring Nook!
The first thing you need to do for this step of the quest is to see if you own a Bottle of Hydrangea Blue Dye. If not, flit over to the other side of Cherryblossom Heights and purchase one from Daisy's Dyes. When you have your bottle of dye, head over to Bobbin's Tailoring Nook in Springtime Orchard. Choose Personal Tailoring and make a top. It doesn't matter which one you make as long as you use your Hydrangea Blue Dye. Just make sure you have the ingredients required for the pattern you select. Once you finish tailoring, return to Rosetta.
Step 3
I made a top for Rosetta!Rosetta: "My, that's nice! And it's perfect for strong wing work. Thanks, sugar!"
"It's time for another exercise. If I can flap my wings hard enough to make something light, like a Sunflower Seed, float up Havendish Stream ..."
"Yes, that would make a flaptastic workout! Hey, Flap Coach, go find me a few Sunflower Seeds!"
Gather 20 Sunflower Seeds and bring them to Rosetta's Garden in Cherryblossom Heights.

An ingredient collecting task! It’s time to gather up some Sunflower Seeds, if you don’t have 20 already. Once you get the required 20 Sunflower Seeds, return to Rosetta and give them to her.
Step 4
I have Sunflower Seeds for Rosetta!Rosetta: "Thanks, sugar! I'll head to Havendish Stream right away. While I'm flappin’, can you get my next exercise ready?"
"I asked Vidia if I could borrow her palm frond fan. It makes a good strong wind. I can work my wings flappin' against it!"
"But Vidia is Vidia -- she wants a big bunch of Buttercup Petals first. I've got NO idea what for, she wouldn't tell me."
"Anyhow, can you go find them?"
Gather 25 Buttercup Petals and bring them to Rosetta's Garden in Cherryblossom Heights.

More ingredient collecting to do! This time you are looking for Buttercup Petals, if you don’t have 25 already. Once you get the required 25 Buttercup Petals, return to Rosetta and give them to her.

"Thanks for gettin' these Buttercup Petals. I'll go borrow Vidia’s fan and then do a little more flappin'."
"In the meantime, fly to Harmony’s Home Collections and get a Crocus Bulb Pitcher. I’ll use it to wash the pollen dust out of my eyes!"
Fly to Harmony's Home Collections in Neverberry Thicket and get a Crocus Bulb Pitcher. Bring it to Rosetta's Garden in Cherryblossom Heights when you are done!

Flit down to Neverberry Thicket and enter Harmony's Home Collections. Purchase a Crocus Bulb Pitcher, which cost 25 Sunflower Seeds. Once you buy the item, return to Rosetta and give it to her.
''Editor’s Note: This step originally asked for you to go to Gale’s Outfitters in Snowcap Glade to purchase a pair of Gadgety Goggles. With the addition of Sparrow Men on 22 April 2010, this was no longer possible; so the requirement was changed. The original dialogue of this step appears below.

Step 6
I have the pitcher for Rosetta!Rosetta: "Terrific, sugarplum."
"Well, it's time for the contest! The pollen's gonna start flyin' thick as dust in a dust storm. Anybody watchin' might just sneeze their wings off!"
"You might want to stay here, sugar. Wish me luck! I'll let you know how I do!"
"Oh, wait! How about you visit Silvermist and see if she has any Wing Relaxer. When the contest is over, I'm gonna need it!"
Fly to Silvermist's Grotto! You can get there from Dewdrop Vale.

Flit to Silvermist's Grotto in Dewdrop Vale and talk to Sil about wing relaxer.

I’m here to see Silvermist!Silvermist: "Hi, raindrop! I heard you're Rosetta's Flap Coach. Hee hee! I knew she wouldn't sit still after Lily won the Staring Contest. So how can I help?"
"Of course she can have some Wing Relaxer. In fact, if you can help, I'll make her a whole batch! She'll need it, all right."
"Wing Relaxer is like water but there's no water in it. I use a pinch of pixie dust to combine the ESSENCE of water with soothing Lily Petals."
"Oh, mud puddles! I don't have any Lily Petals! Could you get me some?"
Gather 10 Lily Petals and bring them to Silvermist's Grotto in Dewdrop Vale.

Your last ingredient collecting task! Go gather up some Lily Petals now, if you don’t have 10 already. Once you get the required 10 Lily Petals, return to Silvermist and give them to her.

Fly to Neverberry Thicket. Earn 10,000 points playing Water Web in Spider Silk Grotto. Return to Silvermist's Grotto in Dewdrop Vale when you are done!

"There! Half a chestnut shell full of Wing Relaxer! Looks like water, doesn't it? But it's not, I promise!"
"All Rosetta needs to do is sprinkle a little on her wings. Now take it to her, okay?"
Fly to Rosetta's Garden! You can get there from Cherryblossom Heights.

You helped Rosetta train for a Flapping Contest. While she competes, deliver the Wing Relaxer to her garden in Cherryblossom Heights!
The last thing you need to do is flap back to Rosetta to give her the wing relaxer and finish the quest!
